This is a great sandwich chain! Love how fresh their ingredients are. The meats and cheeses are sliced to order, which is WAY better than their competitors. They have a wide variety of sandwich options, both cold and hot, on bread or wrap. My favorite is the club wrap! This restaurant is always busy, but efficient when dining in or picking up orders. I frequently use their online app where you can order and pay ahead of time. They also enable you to save your favorite orders to quickly reorder in the future. They offer a rewards program where you earn points for free sandwiches. They also offer a free sandwich for your birthday. They add it to your rewards account and you don't have to use it on your birthday or even during your birthday month! Way more flexible than other food places. This restaurant is clean inside and employees are friendly and helpful. They offer fountain beverages, bags of chips and cookies for purchase. Overall a great location. This location tends to be especially busy. I mean, they were all working very hard to get the orders out, but the online orders and walk-in orders just kept coming, so my order took a little longer than normal, but the gentleman in charge was apologetic and expressed gratitude for my patience. Our sandwiches were especially good this time. I'm not sure what Jersey Mike's does, but their sandwiches are the best of any of the sandwich chains I've tried. I tend to get a mini sub, which is about the same size as a regular sub at Subway. The regular at Jersey Mike's is quite large. The vegetables are always very fresh and they slice the meat as they're preparing the sandwich. Also, their bread is amazing. I get the rosemary bread and love it, love it, love it! The store was absolutely filthy not a single clean table to eat at! Took 10 minutes for you to get somebody's attention to let them know that I was there for an order. Was supposed to be done 25 minutes prior very frustrating and very, not worth my time or my money!! go to Mill Plain store all the time and I never get you that way. My food is always done correctly. The second we walked in the man making the sandwich was extremely impatient and rude. he was very irritated that me and the person I was with were deciding our order and when we got to checking out, I asked what he said, and he basically yelled at me after he finished our order. I go to this Jersey Mike's quite regularly and it never had as bad of service that I had today. The guy had no idea how to make a freaking sandwich. I don't know if they were training somebody or what, but he was all over the place and tried to mix my freaking top of my wheat bread with white bread And then tried to tell me it wasn't white bread. I've been to the Hazel Dell JMs store 3 weeks in a row And the Italian classic has been great every time. So fresh that the leftovers tasted good the next day. Long line moves right along. 1.) I placed the order online and was told it will be ready ____ time. I get there at that time and see MULTIPLE JM employees and one customer. I ask for my order and shocker, it's not ready. I go to sit and wait and the "dining room" is a disaster. Dirty floors, dirty tables, food all over. Surely one of the many staff behind the counter can come do a lobby clean. 2.) The bread on the sandwich was so hard it was basically stale. The chips were also incredibly stale. When I say the bread was stale, it was so hard I was tapping on it, and it sounded like I was tapping on a table. I couldn't even finish the sandwich because the bread was scraping the top of my mouth. It's insane to me that somebody grabbed that loaf of bread to make a sandwich for a customer and absolutely ignored the fact that it was hard as a rock. It's like burning a hamburger and serving it to the customer thinking they won't notice. If you as the restaurant employee won't eat that, why would you think a customer would? It is also baffling to me that I paid over $17 for a sandwich and a bag of chips and I didn't even finish either one of them because of the lack of quality. This review is for the Franchise Owner; jersey mikes is consistent taste wise obviously- it's delicious I love it. This location I frequent as I workout close by. I've gone probably ten times in the last month. Sadly all of the employees severely lack in hygiene. What sent me over the edge today (I just died inside) was the guy topping my sandwhich stopped grabbed receipts touched the wall went to the back patted his friend and then continued making my sandwhich with those gloves the long wire-y ungroomed beards matched with the idgaf vibe slightly made me nauseous. Also they keep giving me not the bread I ask for (third time) no giant biggie but like the employees don't care whatsoever. Stood in front of the order counter for 10 minutes while no one else was in line and watched the guy behind the counter use a dirty rag to wipe off the cutting machine and then smirk at me while he started an online order and another five minutes later said I'll be right with you. One the health department probably wouldn't think wiping the cutter down with a dirty rag is cool plus why do that when you're only gonna make more sandwiches. Absolutely one of the best sandwich shops in Vancouver. I'm from NY and have relatives in NJ...the deli's, sub shop's and dinner's are what Jersey is known for. Jersey Mike's doesn't disappoint. After you try one of their subs, you'll forget the existence of "Subway". Number 9 - Club Supreme! That's the ticket; done Mike's Way. The people at Jersey Mike's must be illiterate. Every time I order sandwiches they screw them up, and it seems to be endemic to the Hazel Dell location. Let me take my share of the blame now: I'm lazy and I use Door Dash, so maybe it's my fault that I am not physically there to make sure my sandwiches are made correctly. When you have family members that CANNOT eat mayonnaise without gagging and/or throwing up, or absolutely hate mustard, it screws with mom's lazy vibe when I have to WASH their condiments or throw $70 in the trash and actually cook, which I am not doing. Ordered a ham and provolone sandwich online for a 12:03 pickup. One sandwich. I arrive at noon and was told they are working on it. As I'm waiting I watch the walk up orders churn through as the crew was cranking out sandwiches! After waiting for 15 minutes and have watched the walk in line turn over 3-4 times, I'm starting to wonder why did I order ahead? Surely I wasn't saving any time. I inquired with staff as to the progress of my sandwich..."we are backed up and we're working on it". Wait, I've been standing here for 20 minutes and observed plenty of sandwiches heading out the door...where is my online order that was placed 45 minutes ago? After a 25 minute wait, sandwich is ready and I'm greeted with "sorry for the wait, we are backed up". I don't understand where the backup is because I've been watching the crew pump out sandwiches. There is something about this location that just isn't right. I have had some of the lamest customer service here unlike most other locations. When I order my food ahead on the app it isn't made correctly and isn't ready when it's supposed to be. I love the subs and used to get them all the time on their app delivered through door dash. For the last couple months, I have not been able to order for delivery because it says I'm outside the delivery area (I'm only 1 mile from the Hazel dell location). Couple days ago I was able to order for dinner but now I'm outside the area again for lunch? At least be honest with customers and say your delivery is turned off because you cannot keep up with orders (what they told me at the location). I guess Jimmy John's it is. read more

Do not come here during lunch time! They are now doing uber eats, so they have 15 people waiting in a line that is barely moving, while also trying to fulfill a bunch of online orders. It really isn't the employees' fault, but we waited over 20 mins in line and my two sandwiches were forgotten. I tried to tell them several times before I got to the register and they realized it. We've gone to several Jersey Mike's locations in the last couple of years, and we've always had a good experience. Lately, I've been ordering via the app to save time at the restaurant. I completed an app order yesterday, but accidentally sent it to the Hazel Dell location instead of the one on Mill Plain. When I realized my error, I tried calling the Hazel Dell location, but got no answer. Throughout the day, I continued to call, always getting the same message saying that they were busy and I should use the app. This morning, I called the Hazel Dell location before opening hours. After explaining the situation several times, and saying that I was only looking for a refund for an order that never got picked up, they finally put a manager on the phone. The upshot is that she called me a liar. "I'll give you a refund this time, but I remember this order, and I know it got picked up." Once again, I told her that I had not picked it up, and that I had called several times yesterday to try to explain and get a refund. This is customer service? I know working in food service is awful, but it might be a little better if the manager could refrain from accusing people of lying over a $20 food order. Throughout our interaction, I was calm and polite. I certainly didn't accuse the manager of anything underhanded. If only she could have done the same. read more
