Saturdays I ask my fiance to swing by Bruchi's for their cheesesteak sandwich. It's gonna become a weekend routine, especially since they usually have a deal on it. The steak is always tender and well-seasoned, not overly salty like at some other places. The cheese is melted just right, and the grilled onions add a nice sweetness. The bread holds it all together without falling apart or getting too overly soggy. One of my favorite parts is the jalapeños they offer on the side. I always ask for them. They're fresh and spicy, and I like adding them to each bite for an extra kick. There's also plenty of parking, which makes it easy to get in and out, even on a busy Saturday. read more

Love Bruchi's but there's no point in ordering it. The website doesn't have the Vancouver location listed as order on line. The door dash has Inflated prices to the tune of $5 per sub verses if you go. That's not including all the fees. So it comes out like $15 more. laughable. I got the steak cheesesteak with Parmesan bread. The meat is definitely cooked to order, piping hot. I almost burned my mouth when I took a bite. The Parmesan bread was very soft. The steak, cheese and mayo combo was juicy and flavorful. It's a good cheesesteak. There's good amount of parking here since it's in the same complex of a Fred Meyer. Each day of the week they have a special sandwich/sub where they discount $1 for a 6 inch or $2 for a 12 inch. read more

Had a company crew lunch on my first visit. Parking was easy for lunch on a Thursday. Plenty of room to grab a table for 6. Sandwich shop vibe for sure. Took a few minutes to get through the menu with lots of choices. Everyone got sandwiches of different varieties, with fries, and sodas. You order at counter, pickup at counter, and bus your own table. Cant really say much about service so to spea, but they got the orders right. The sandwiches came out pretty quick and everything was pretty good. Everyone grabbed down and no complaints. I would go again but would not go out of my way to come back. 6 guys $158 and change for 12" sandwiches baskets for everyone so not a cheap place to eat by any means. Bring your own bag for takeout. I just left my order all over their floor because the flimsy paper bag tore. I told them what happened and they pulled out a plastic bag so I could repack the food myself - off the floor. Why they didn't use a plastic bag for two large sandwiches and two sides, I'll never know. Then I was told if I didn't want the sandwiches off the floor I'd have to rebuy the meal. I just left. Not a bad spot for a quick sandwich. It was our first time there for a stop and go lunch. The staff was welcoming and the order didn't take long to be prepared. Even through the appearance of the subs wasn't great, the taste was pretty good. We did wish that the cheesesteaks were a bit more cheesy, however, not bad at all. This review is late by a few months but I just feel that I need to write it in case we end up back to wearing masks. I went in during lunch and everyone not sitting was wearing masks. Even the door read, you MUST WEAR MASKS...again...this review is a little late. This man walked in wearing a shirt blatantly saying that he will not wear a mask and of course, he did not have one on. Those of you who have been to this place, it is very small so everyone was exposed to him who, based on that shirt, will never wear a mask. This really disturbed me. I get it, you don't want to wear one. GREAT...please stay outside. Order and get curbside. I am not getting on a soapbox...or maybe I am...but I wore my mask to keep others safe, as well as myself. I just wish that the employees could have at least acknowledged that the person was not wearing a mask or give him a reminder. On our drive back to the bay from Seattle, I was trying to find a lunch spot for takeout. Bruchi's popped up after a quick look at the menu we made our choices. We ordered the New Yorker sub and the Pepper Steak sub. The pepper steak had tender steak, jalapeño peppers, pepperoncinis and cheese of course. It was so good. The photo doesn't do it justice, but when you're hungry and trying to eat on the go you can't really take a great photo. I didn't try the New Yorker but my husband agreed mine was the best. I'm excited to see there's a Bruchi's in Sacramento, just a tad bit closer to us. read more

For what I got, it was great. My cheesesteak days are behind me so I can't attest to the quality of those or anything with meat. I think there are only 1 or 2 veggie choices but I was fine with the grilled veggie sandwich. Their fries are great and there are several dipping sauces to choose from. One thing I really appreciated was that they posted the prices they were paying for various items today versus what they were paying a year ago. So yeah, they raised the price of a sandwich 2 bucks. On the other hand, it was only 2 bucks. Restaurants are really taking it on the chin these days. Even with the higher prices it's still a good deal. read more

Took my family out to Bruchi's for a nice lunch but ended up being an epic fail. We ordered two sandwiches, two chicken strips, side of cheese fries and four drinks that totaled almost $70.00. We waited around 10 minutes to receive overcooked and burnt chicken, and ice cold cheese fries with almost no cheese on them. My girlfriend asked to have the fries remade and the girl gladly did that. When my girlfriend was telling the male worker about the burnt food and asked for a manager the worker was EXTREMELY RUDE about it and told us that it was "busy" and that is why everything was either cold or burnt. In not sure how three people in line is an excuse for bad service and horrible. Also the front door is falling apart, floors are dirty as well as the tables being dirty and sticky. It was mediocre...like their customer service. Ordered a steak supreme w/ no mayo on a parm bread, and it was super dry. Thin slices of steak had no flavor, does it even get seasoned? Not enough cheese for the price you pay for A CHEESESTEAK. It would be nice if the cheese got melted on top of the thin slices of steak so you get a bite of cheese with every bite. Or offer cheese whiz, which would probably make their cheesesteak a little less bland. read more

The Pastrami is dry and so salty, I had to just take it off of the sandwich (tomatoes no flavor, never had lettuce on a pastrami before (East coast thing?, my moms from NY and said no!). the pepper steak small amount of meat may or may not have flavor? there were so many Jalapenos it just tasted spicy. The French dip meat was very dry so you need the dip but the dip tasted burnt and so salty it was unusable. I only had the Pastrami the other two sandwiches were almost eaten by my friends. I would have taken them back but sometimes you live to far and its a mission. I wish I would have been able to eat it there. I was charged $17 and some change for the Sandwich, fries and two sauces. Honestly I was blown away with the price in itself and I'm sure she didn't hear me ask for the "side of fries". Had to edit my review after coming here today. This is my 3rd time to Bruchis. We usually order the pepper steak on Parmesan bread. The staff is the issue - unprofessional and frankly, lazy. There was only one small table clean to eat on - the rest were rattled with food, garbage, spilt drinks etc. the station with lids was unorganized and dirty and especially the soda machine. There was food on the floor as well. The whole time I ate my sandwich I waited for someone to clean another table so we could properly fit, but they just talked and talked. The food - is just okay. It's honestly nothing special. Above average, but for the grand scheme of things, nothing special. This was my last visit here unfortunately. read more

Bruchi's Cheesesteaks and Subs has some super friendly guys behind the counter. They earn most of the stars for Bruchi's because the Cheesesteak I tried was one of the least cheesy cheesesteaks I've had. The bread was dry and the cheese didn't melt. Even adding Bacon, Grilled Onions, and Jalapenos didn't do much to save my Bacon Cheddar Cheesesteak. How can so much goodness be so flavorless ... and dry? Sigh. Of course, Bruchi's isn't fancy food and you wouldn't want it to be if you're in the mood for a cheesesteak sandwich or hoagie. They do have Soups and Salads for your friends plus Beer and Wine to help ease the disappointment with the Cheesesteak. In the end, my favorite part of visiting Bruchi's Cheesesteaks & Subs wasn't the cheesesteak, but the super service from the crew behind the counter ... raising the total rating to an a-ok 3 stars. read more
