This was the best Rueben I've ever had if the bread wasn't soggier than a sailor's socks in a stormy season. I've seen kid's crafts with more structural integrity than this sandwich. Nice folks; music was so loud it felt like I was at a Phil Collin's concert (I love Tarzan too babe, but that was overstimulating) 7.5/10 - would eat again.

Fun little spot with great service, great food and cool vibe. The decor is very eclectic and fun. Great music creates a fun and funky vibe! Parking can definitely be challenging due to so many other businesses being in close proximity.

Really charming shop in the Eliot district. It's not on one of the main roads so never ventured out this way but glad we did this time after searching breakfast sandwiches on Yelp. No lot but parking is free in the area and across the library. Upon walking in you get to see the space is decorated with plenty of stickers and a mixture of different types of seating by the window, booths, and shared tables. It has such a vibe with the music too. It was our first time here and came at the cusp of breakfast/lunch so we asked the staff on their recommendations. We had to try their sausage on the bolo roll (thicker roll and recommended by staff vs. muffin) and the travis. Both sandwiches were well portioned and stacked. Loved the bread on both and they were equally filling. We left stuffed. I want to come back to try their bacon on a muffin though!

Mary and Murray, w/ drip coffee. Egg Salad lovers, this is the sandwich for you!!

Hands down, best sandwich shop in Portland!!! The ambiance is eccentric, all you sticker fans would love this place, slap your sticker here! I had their drip coffee with the Mary and Murray sandwich. If you love egg salad, this one is for you!!!

These sandwiches are soo unbelievably good! Ugh. I couldn't breathe while they were going down because I wanted them down so bad. I went into an altered state. I got the Ricky Italian and the bread was so crispy and the giardinara was so delicious and they warmed the meat so all the oils mixed together to soften the crispy bread so perfectly. My boyfriend got the Charlie. He begged me to take him out to pasture and shoot him because he could finally die happy, the only thing that changed his mind was the prospect of another sandwich from Lottie and Zulas. Update your emergency contacts before you go here because you might suffocate the sandwiches are so good. Good tunes, superb ambience and staff and best collection of local street art!

If you ever want a very good sandwich, this is the place. Got the Reuben and it was amazing will definitely go back and get it again. The staff was amazing. The place was awesome with music and a bunch of stickers strewn around the restaurant.

This place has really good vibes. Kind staff. Delicious sandwiches. We tried the Ricky and the Carl. Both sandwiches were hott and very delicious, packed with flavors. We tried a can beer from Oakshire brewing called Sun made cucumber sour which was delicious!

    Italian and the steak sandwich

We had two different sandwiches so we could split them. They cut the sandwiches so we could do that. The food was 10/10. Both sandwiches were excellent ingredients and very tasty. Loved the "science cheese" to reduce food waste. The bread is also very good. The atmosphere is fun to us The service was so good. The person taking the order was very kind answering questions. Would highly recommend.

    Such a fun interior vibe!

Still loving Lottie & Zulas! Today I got the Charlie, which is a roasted beet and cabbage sandwich, and it was so unique and delicious. I've never had anything like it! It came out steaming hot and so melty. I don't know that I'd order it again because I prefer something with meat and want to try other items on the menu, but it was still really fun to try. The vibe here is so fun too, and service has always been great.

    spinach and egg bolo

This is a funky spot. I loved the ambiance. Dark but lots of art and cool lights and graffiti on the walls. I got the spinach and egg sandwhich on a bolo and it wasn't my favorite. I wouldn't get it again. It felt overpriced at 10$ since it was pretty small. Maybe the other sandwiches are better.

Flew into Portland and spotted this little gem as I was aimlessly driving around. Had the breakfast sandwich with sausage. It was a good sandwich and the sausage had solid flavor. I wasn't blown away but it is definitely worth coming back for. I'm sure the coffee here is excellent based on the clientele and reviews but unfortunately I don't drink coffee. The lemonade was good although more tart than I'm accustomed to. Overall, solid food option with a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed all the sticker art on all the tables.

    Manny Ramirez chicken salad grinder
    Gauravi P.

This is probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. My husband ordered the Manny Ramirez chicken salad grinder for lunch and I shared with him through eating several bites. The combination of flavors and textures through each bite was so pleasing! This sandwich doesn't short you on your share of vegetables and the chicken ratio is 100%! The bread is that crunchy chewy French roll and it is an integral part of this sandwich! The ambiance here is so fun to walk in an order at as well as to sit down and have a quick bite. There is a good amount of seating and staff if friendly and helpful. I wish we had one of these on the east coast!

The food cart is located in a little gated square, along with several other carts. The central dining area is great-- space is plentiful, there are tented and untented tables, and it is very clean. The food cart space is located on Albina, which means you can easily make an afternoon of your outing. There are a ton of small shops and boutiques around with pretty much anything you can imagine. Chubby Bunny doesn't have anyone outside to take your order. Instead, you order on a big tablet and they text you when your food is ready. I'll admit I actually hate ordering on tablets because I miss getting to chat with a human being, but that was the only negative thing about this experience and I know a lot of people vastly prefer the no contact options. I got the Sandwich Week Breakfast Sandwich (fake eggs and meat with a spicy sauce on a pretzel bun) and a hash brown. It was INCREDIBLE. I was a little skeptical to try the fake eggs (I am a vegetarian, not a vegan), but I couldn't tell a difference at all. I get why they call themselves "accidentally vegan"-- it absolutely tasted like the real deal. The sandwich was large, flavorful, and the sauce had such an excellent zing. The hash brown was perfectly crispy. This was a great meal and for $10, it was a great deal too. We will absolutely return.

I did a filter for which restaurants are offering a vegan sandwich for $10! I have heard of Chubby Bunny, but until now, I have not tried them out. They are a food truck located in a pod on Alberta Street. I was able to park close by in the neighborhood. When I entered the pod, I found Chubby Bunny right away. I was planning on paying with cash, but I saw a sign to use the kiosk. The kiosk was handy, but pay with a card. I thought oh well. But when I went to the window, I saw a sign to ring the bell if you were picking up an order, paying cash or had questions. I decided to get another sandwich to go, so I rang the bell and paid cash for it. When my first sandwich was ready, they called my name. I sat at a small outdoor table next to the food truck. The Nice Bunny, which was the special for sandwich week, was really good! It consisted of Fried Spamm, egg, melted provolone cheese, Creole mustard, on a toasted pretzel bun. 100% Secretly Vegan. It was really satisfying! I definitely plan on returning to try other menu items!

RELEASE THE RECIPE FOR THAT AÏOLI!!…read more I ordered the vegan roasted turkey and I will say this HANDS DOWN THE BEST VEGAN SANDWICH IVE HAD TO DATE. It was beautifully presented fully loaded and extremely filling. I was able to eat half a sandwich and save the rest for later. I will say I had my roommate grab the order so I can't comment on anything else but MAN. it's been about a month and I haven't stopped thinking about it. Both times I've only stopped by for pick up, so I cannot really comment about the dining-in. Although, the place does appear very clean. And there are plenty of tables for dining-in as well as a pretty large patio area. As for service, it's always been with a smile, so no issues picking up. The Lunch Combo Sandwiches that I've tried: ~ Roasted Turkey ($16.50) with good sized turkey slices, smaller bacon slices, some cheddar, sweet slices apple, some arugula (meh), and a tasty pesto aioli. All served on a heavy ciabatta hoagie. Also with a dill pickle spear and some Spicy Dill Pickle chips. The sandwich was very thick. The ciabatta was a bit soft, but dense enough to hold things together. Loved it! ~ Second try, it was 'a must' that I order the Reuben ($16.50). Which came with good slices of pastrami, Swiss cheese nice and melted, some kraut, and house Russian dressing on "marble rye." YES, MARBLE RYE!!! I despise pastrami sammies with regular oat bread lol. Better Half does it right! I only wish it were more wet versus being a clean sandwich. Again, this is definitely filling, and now I understand why this place servers half a sandwich. Next time I'm goin' for something adventurous like their Pork Mojo or a Jackfruit Mojo sammie. Maybe. Check them out!
