Oh my gosh, we walked in, there was no line, and four people behind the counter. We ordered three sandwiches, one of which was hot. Tell me why ONE person out of four made our order!? The one person was on the grill and we had to wait for her to make one sandwich and then start the others while one person just stood at the register. We were in there for 20 min! For three sub sandwiches! And they still forgot my kiddos cookie. We didn't notice until we got in the car but I wasn't about to go back and wait more time for them to figure it out. This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's and it was such a disappointment. Walking in, it looked very promising. The store was very clean and the employees greeted me upon entering. I ordered a number 26 which is the Chicken Bacon Ranch sub. They made the sandwhich really fast which was nice but when I got home and I opened the bag to see the sandwich, it was a hot mess. The bread was so soggy from the sauce and the bacon inside was also soggy. The chicken had nice flavor but the sogginess was off putting I'm giving it 2 stars because the employees were so nice and it is in a good area with lots of parking. I've gotten this sub many times in the past and each time it's been steadily decreasing with taste. This time there were no jalapeños, one small piece of red pepper, 2 small pieces of green peppers, and lack of meat. Made an order online for pick up on my way home. Arrived maybe 5 minutes early than the projected ready time. Upon entering the establishment I saw a bag with my name on it, so I told them my name hoping I would just get my wife and my food but the staff told me to hang tight, they're working on it. Sat down and waited 20 additional minutes watching customer after customer walk in and out with their food. My wife in the car is concerned what's going on while trying to keep our baby from melting down which wouldn't be an issue if we were home 15 minutes ago. After I was the only person left, they asked my name again and grabbed the bag I saw when I walked in and seemed concerned that my food was ready the whole time sitting on the counter. They didn't not apologize for a misunderstanding or for the length of my wait. After getting home, they got my wife's order wrong by not removing the onions requested and then they added honey mustard on a sandwich that doesn't even come with it! read more

My teachers and I ordered 3 subs totaling $40 tip included. My dub included mushrooms, because that's what I specifically wanted. I received my sandwich hot without mushrooms! I called and spoke with the manager who turned out to be the store owner. I explained to him that my sub did not have mushrooms on it as it should have and I ordered the sandwich on a regular basis. His first statement was are you sure they're not cut up finally into your sub because you order it often doesn't mean it's made the same way! He asked me if I could bring it back during my 30 minute lunch.. explain to him no I am a teacher and cannot do that he said well if you can't bring it back there's nothing I can do for you! Ordered subs online while traveling with family, they ran out of bread as unbelievable as that sounds and the poor manager, if you want to call him that, had no idea how to use his own system to issue a refund and actually ended up charging me three times. He finally refunded one of the three charges but told me I'd have to come back to get the restof the $109 he still owes us due to his lack of ability to use the system. It was actually quite embarrassing how much of a hot mess this one store always is...no onions, no lettuce, no bacon...now no bread but after meeting the manager it all makes more sense. I love this location! On of my pet peeves is standing in long lines,especially at a restaurant or grocery store. So I just go online, order and cut the line when I get there. On one specific occasion, I ordered The Big Kahana Cheesesteak (or so I thought) online during my lunch break. I picked it up and went back to work without checking it. When I opened it, I was ticked off that it was a Chicken Philly instead of steak. I called to complain, but at that point, I didn't have time to take the thing back, so I just ate it. I ordered the Reg Roast Beef (Cooked on premises) "Mikes Way". I ordered it on White sub roll and got whole wheat. The sandwich was ok - but very light on the meat (see my photos). My wife ordered the Grilled Pastrami Reuben and I had a bite. It was delicious!! It almost had enough meat. She said it had too much krout making it soggy. If I ever went back (which is questionable) I'd get the Reuben with extra meat. For 2 Reg sandwiches and 1 Iced Tea it was 16 bucks and change (Not worth what I had). read more

YES! I cannot tell you how much I love Jersey Mike's! It's been a favorite of mine since I lived in Ohio, and I am glad to see them out here. We spotted the VA Beach location on our way back from the beach and just HAD to stop by. It's a really great change up to the usual Subway fare. I think it is as good as, if not better than Jimmy John's. The meat and cheese on the sammies are freshly cut right in front of you. Decided to try this place - I ordered a large tuna and a regular club sub online from the Northampton Blvd. store. First - the parking lot is absolutely atrocious with narrow passage and barely any parking. While the sub ingredients were fresh, the tuna sub was gloppy and the tuna kept falling out of the sub roll in gobs. They need to use far less mayo. Likewise, the club sub was drenched in oil. For the high price, I was disappointed and will take my business back to Zeroes and Subway. Meh. read more

The first experience was just as bad as the second except I didn't get the verbal abuse the first time. I've been going to Jersey Mike's from New Jersey to North Carolina to Virginia every chance I see him. The brand to me means quality freshness and consistency. This store that I'm reviewing is cutting short on the meets not giving proper portions and not slicing according to Jersey Mike's standards. Clearly this is a substandard store congruent with jersey Mike's policies . When I asked about the slicing of the meats the lady was very helpful she escalated my complaint to the franchise manager/owner Brandon Brandon became indignant argumentative and combative.
