I ate at a different location yesterday and meant to post! It was still great food that didn't disappoint. I love those crispy fries that pour out of the bag when you rip it open! Yum! Congrats on great food at another location. Plus! The service is always friendly people.

This has been a consistently blah experience. Service without a smile. At the end of our meal my husband wanted a bag to put our fries into take home. I stood there for 2 orders going out and tried to get the ladies attention. Nope! She never wanted to look my way. It wasn't just her. No one in the whole place ever made eye contact for me to ask for a simple thing like a bag. I then stood pressing against the front counter. Nope! Still nothing. Finally my husband told me never mind. They do NOT want to help you. I'm just wondering are we the only people this happens to at this place. Or is the staff just not interested in customer service? I give service a 1 star. The burgers are greasy with no flavor. I love 5 guys buns. The topping are good too. And I do like that they will put any of the sauces on the side. But then their fries are limp and not crisp. Wimpy wimpy wimpy fries. Even my nephew that loves 5 guys said the fries were wimpy. I'm giving them 3 stars because they have such potential. It was dirty too. Tables had food bits. We wiped our table and food out of our seats before we could sit and eat. The floor in the in tire place was dirty. We only go because my nephew likes five guy. I just wonder if it is just location that needs help

This is definitely not my typical Five Guys experience....but it's definitely noteworthy, as another customer was in line sharing the same sentiments to me ...... I have a short lunch break so I decided to pre-order online. After my payment, a notification popped up saying my order would be ready in 10 minutes. Well it takes 12 minutes for me to get to this location so that was just perfect. When I arrived there were no other patrons and 5 employees were behind the counter. When I approached the counter I was asked my name and my bag of food was immediately located and I was told my sandwich was complete but they don't cook the fries until you arrive. I was a little annoyed by that because I preordered intentionally so I wouldn't have to wait. Not only did it take another 11 minutes for me to receive my completed order with my fries, my burger had been sitting there the entire time, under no heat lamp, and was no longer hot. During my wait, another pre-order customer walked in and met the same fate, and complained to me the entire time saying "if I wanted to wait til would've just ordered when I got here!" I'm not sure if this is the customary procedure, but it could certainly use revamping! It's common that waits are longer these days due to reduced staffing and limited products. But it appeared, in this case, there was not a staff shortage.....and my items were present, just organized poorly. If this is the current employee expectation, I highly recommend to management a revising of your online order process. If it is not, please reiterate to the staff at this location what the requirements are for more customer friendly interactions.

    All the way Bacon burger

First and foremost...WWOOOWW!!! The food is amazing!!! And the crazy thing is I haven't even tried my all the way hot dog yet!! The service is amazing also. They are patient and when ordering the food is being dropped because the Short order cooks are attentive. The atmosphere is great too. This establishment is clean and there is good music!!! There's no need to write a review about the all the way hot dog because I know it will be good!!! If you're looking for a burger joint....THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO GO. And they have some of the best fries I have ever had and I'm a loyal Chick-fil-A waffle fries and rally's French fries kind of guy. My father is a very picky eater and he said this is the best burger that he has EVER HAD!!! And that's saying a lot because he's 78. So I'd you're in Virginia period..anywhere in the world , check out 5 guys!!!! If you're in Virginia Beach, check out the staff in the Nimmo Parkway location. They deserve a raise all!!!! Thank you for such great service and divine food!!! These employees are the definition of service and whoever put them there is the best!!! Thank you

Food is delicious. Only come here every once in while. They need to clean the tables off for their guests because most of them are dirty. The Bacon cheeseburger is highly recommended. The Cajun fries are always good and crispy. This is an average five guys. Nothing fancy.

The fries were cold and soggy. The hot dog was swimming in ketchup and mustard. The only good thing was the burger.

I used to go every Thursdays during motorcycle night down in Miami. I was sad to see it close down. I didn't know some were still opened. So, I ordered our burgers (one bunless) with onion rings. The burger was just as I remembered it. I love their toppings bar and the melted cheese. Everything was delicious. Overall, it was great choice to eat there. The place is really cool and the decor is awesome! I definitely recommend.

Was greeted by a very rude, red haired teen that was just nasty. She asked me if I wanted my hamburger and fries together? wtf is that. She was actually just TRYING to create problems.. She wouldn't hand me my cup for my drink, she'd put the cup "mouth side" down on the dirty counter.. I asked for another one she did it again. I paid and as I was putting CC in the reader, she snapped that doesn't work and she snatched my CC out of my hand. I asked firmly what her problem was. Then she like "oh?" I asked for the manager and told the manager the situation and told her everything.. she just gave a blank stare and said sorry.. I told her that she wouldn't hand me the cup but willfully putting it upside down on the counter... and.... She did it again in front of her manager.... That red haired brat should be nowhere near the front of the house.. she should be cleaning toilets... The busboy was nice and I tipped him $20

It's not healthy but they do have some easy fast food if you want burgers or hot dogs or ice cream. It's not my particular first choice but it'll hit the spot late at night if you have a craving like my fiancee often does. We recently came through the drive-through so he could get a hot dog and it was ready immediately with no issues. It wasn't amazing but it was enough.

Instead of just asking me again, he responded with a sarcastic laugh that made me feel disrespected. After he laughed sarcastically, I mirrored what he did. Seeing what I did, he then refused to take my order and repeatedly told me to leave the restaurant with high voice. He got sarcastic because of a delay and made it worse by refusing to take my order and with high voice asking me to leave. Customers should be treated with professionalism and respect and help in ordering if they need it. Showing impatience by being sarcastic, refusing service and yelling at a customer to leave ("I will not serve you; there's the door!") is unacceptable. When I asked for his name so I could report the incident to management, he refused to provide it. I took a photo of the employee in hopes that management can identify who was involved and review what happened. I hope Sonic's management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional customer service training.

The game itself was lively, well-paced, and everyone seemed to have a great time. The patio where the event was held is beautiful, and it was spacious enough for the crowd. The only downside to the seating was that some guests ended up behind a wall where they could hear the caller but couldn't actually see her or the plants being awarded. One suggestion that I think would make the event even better is the prize structure. When there are ties, the winners have to play rock-paper-scissors to determine who gets the plant. While that's part of the fun, I felt bad for the people who won their bingo card but ultimately went home with a donated T-shirt, soil, or plant food instead of a plant. Even a small, inexpensive plant for the runner-up would make the experience feel more rewarding, especially since the event is centered around plants. The food and service were a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the California Club with sweet potato fries, and it was delicious. However, the menu was more limited than expected, and we were told some of the regular menu items (including the tacos!) weren't available during the event. Our server was genuinely pleasant and did the best she could, but she appeared to be covering more tables than one person reasonably should. Service was slow, and we had to remind her about our drinks after our food had already arrived. It felt more like a staffing issue than a service issue. One thing I didn't care for was the payment process. We were only brought a credit card slip with the total to add a tip and sign after our card had already been charged. We had to specifically ask for an itemized receipt to review the charges. I would have preferred the opportunity to see the bill before my card was run or at least have the option to use a different payment method. The event advertising was also a little misleading. The description said, "Join us for 20 rounds of bingo, raffle entries, plant prizes, tacos & drinks!" Based on that wording, it certainly sounded like tacos and non-alcoholic beverages were included with the ticket price. Instead, everything had to be purchased separately, and we were told the tacos (which are on the regular restaurant menu) weren't even available during the event due to the limited event menu. Clarifying that food and drinks are available for purchase would help set better expectations. Despite those issues, we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. I was fortunate enough to win one of the plants, and it's beautiful. My suggestions are simply things I think would make an already fun event even better for everyone. The energy of Plant Bingo, the beautiful patio, the organized check-in, and the friendly atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening, and with a few improvements to the prize distribution, staffing, payment process, and event advertising, it could easily become an even better experience.

I recently attended plant bingo hosted at Sage Kitchen located inside the Anderson garden Center…read more  I was promptly greeted and directed to the check-in table. The check-in process was seamless; my group received our bingo cards and the flyer outlining the 20 game plays, and we appreciated the flexibility of the indoor and outdoor seating. The service was both friendly and efficient. We were required to start a tab; I was unsure if this is standard policy or specific to the event, but either way it worked out well. I ordered the Baja bowl: grilled chicken, black beans, corn, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and avocado served on cilantro-lime rice topped with tortilla strips and Aji Verde sauce. My bowl was delicious, fresh and portioned just right. The plant selections for the prizes were great, I actually won a Pothos Yellow Flame. I do have two suggestions: 1. Consider having extra plant prizes available for tie-breaking rounds instead of playing rock-paper-scissors. If you win you deserve a plant. 2. It would be helpful if guests were provided with a copy of their bill to verify for accuracy before their card is charged and the tab is closed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the event. I look forward to returning to Sage Kitchen soon.
