Let me start out by saying that the customer service was excellent, and my children all raved about how delicious their sandwiches were (albeit small). Ordered 3 kid's meals, which the board says are $5.95, but I paid $6.45 for, and the young man had no idea why the register price was 50 cents higher than the price listed in the store. Also, the cuts of bread were 3 different cuts, so my daughter got a sandwich that was 2 inches, and my oldest son got one that was a little more than 3 inches, and my middle got a sandwich with the tough end on it (she cut the other end off the bread), sized somewhere in between. First time here and I ordered a Mikes Philly Cheesesteak no onions or peppers. I got home to eat lunch and of course it had onions and peppers. I called and wanted them to send me a correct one. They said they couldn't do that but come back and they would make a new one I returned and dealt with Rick who made my new sandwich. He was very nice and apologized. The sandwich was pretty good. Jersey Mikes, in my opinion, is undoubtedly the best sandwich you'll find from any fast food sandwich shop. Which technically isn't saying much when you compare it to the quality of say, Subway. But nevertheless, I like the idea of the cold cuts being sliced "fresh" for each order and if you have the app, they do have a pretty decent points system where "free" sandwiches can be earned fairly quickly. They are priced a little higher than their competition, but you do get a better, more satisfying meal. For about the same price though, you can wander into a Mom and Pop deli, but the convenience of ordering ahead of time on the app and having it waiting for you upon arrival is cool, especially if you get annoyed waiting on lines. Another plus is, the staff is always pleasant and happy at every Jersey Mikes I've been too.......and it almost reminds me of the service you receive at Chick-fil-A (which is most definitely a compliment). So a few of my faves are the Turkey and Prov sub with the hot chili pepper relish and the Cheesesteak sub with grilled onions and peppers. First time visiting, I asked for "the veggie" regular, she pulled out bread (found out after sub was made there are different types of breads) . As she cuts the bread it is on a counter filled with cheese and meat bits (GROSS im a vegetarian) so now I have meat bits on my bread.. Ok, so I can't and or notate 1/2 stars. You know; when you get those responses that say - what can we or - is there anything we can do to get more stars? So, some weeks ago we got a sandwich from there. The helper had dark short hair not the blond long hair came out of my mouth upon taking a bite of the sandwich. So much for finishing it. So I call, I get the manager - Zack- maybe. He credits my card and says, the next time you come in you ask for me and we will make sure your order is perfect. Today I went in and it seems very busy. March 31 is the "Day of Giving". Now; they get an extra star for me for people who help the community and charities. Todays charity is "Make-A-Wish", in my humble opinion- it is a really good one. So of course I added to the balance of the 100% goes to the charity. (see lots of pix) Ordered a Regular -Italian sub and a soda fountain drink. I did ask to speak briefly with the manager (it is not about money here) as he as noted the previous request. Apparently he was working in the back and too busy to stop to speak to me as a customer. Ok, yes they were busy. There were take out orders from online and everyone was working like bees. So, here's the thing, what about the communication loss of - please put the bacon on the grill and make it crisp before adding it to my sandwich. The young lady behind the counter had taken the bacon, in gloved hand (and oh by the way they all wore Really Nice colorful mask) and gone over to the man at the grill. I've gone here and had good service with no complaints. I've also been here and watched as one of the employees finished making a sandwich and when she cleaned off the counter she scraped the excess up and dumped it in the container with the lettuce. Not the garbage-- the container with the fresh lettuce. On my last visit here I noticed that the neighborhood homeless man who smells like urine & always has his pile of blankets with him had taken up residence at the counter. Love jersey mikes, unfortunately this experience had me second guessing to come back to this location again. The cashier that rung us up gave my boyfriend the wrong sandwich. She barely looked at us when the sandwich was handed to her and she put it next to our bag of the other sandwich and chips, naturally my boyfriend asked if it was all good and she nodded barely looking at us so we assumed that was his sandwich and left. When we got home it was the completely wrong sandwich, we go back and another girl was nice about it and made us the correct sandwich while the one who made the mistake just looked at us and said nothing. She was looking at the wrong sandwich they took back acting like it wasn't her mistake. Decided to try Jersey Mikes instead of Subway. Got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich for my wife who's break would be later In the night. I realized that I'll might be late for my class at a class at the gym when I finished ordering. I paid and asked if I can just come back to pick it up in an hour. The teenage boy who the cashier asked, looked ANNOYED and said the sandwich is already on the grill. The sandwich would be cold when I pick it up later. I informed him that it's for my wife and she'll eat it later in the day. He then said I can come back but continued to look annoyed. Anyways the sandwich didn't take much longer after, but there's better ways to handle customers without having attitude. I'm not sure if he's going thru something personal or if it's just a rebellious phase in his growth but that's not how you talk to people. read more
