It has taken me nearly 9 months to complete this review due to my embarrassment at being "had" for over $30,000 by this company. The representative sold me a bill of goods that has not fixed the problem that I allowed him into my home to discuss and you resolve. I have no knowledge about foundation work and this person outright misled me. After coming into my home and starting the work, the company admitted they could not do what the representative said they could do and what the contract I signed said they would do. They did not seal my crawl space, they did not reinforce a sag in my flooring structure, they placed a sump pump drain line outside the area that I requested, they left food and clothing items in my crawl space after they were done. They bullied me. The work is sloppy. And then I allowed them to come in again to sweet talk a workaround that wasn't done correctly either. Now, I will also admit that I am a Veteran and a Nurse and that my pride may cost me and prevent me from obtaining an attorney. Although after writing this, I still may. The JES rep came out for the appointment. It went 4 FOUR hours. I was exhausted when he left. It would be nice to tell the client how long it would take to inspect, write up an estimate and then do the long....song & dance on how and why the work needs to be done. The second issue was the follow up call and subsequent calls from a woman named Dominique. She was rude, talked over me and then hung up on me on the 3rd call. I will not be using JES. read more

Have used JES on 2 separate occasions. The second was for an "inspection" that ended up costing approx. $2,500. Now 2 months later we have a sump pump that won't shut off. It's Mon. 2/16. The soonest they can come to check it out was 2/25. Some complaining and we have a new service date of 2/17. Meanwhile we have a sump pump that's in danger of overheating.If that doesn't happen we're spending exorbitant electric dollars. Lip service is cheap,real service is expensive. read more

The work was not completed to my satisfaction. The first worker sent out was very inexperienced and couldn't complete the job as promised during my consultation. Another person had to come to finish the work. Additionally, the step had to be redone because it was uneven, and they used two different colors of cement. While I was okay with the original work not matching the existing concrete, my steps now have three different colors. The work is not seamless, the crack repairs were poorly done, and the foam used to raise the steps was left visible on the outside. Initially, the manager listened to my concerns, but when all the corrections were not completed, I never heard back. Instead, I was simply sent a payment link. 2nd Update: updating rating to 3 stars to reflect current efforts to remedy our situation. Today, day 3 of no water, we have the plumber out, and the sump pump installation crew has called to schedule their arrival, and everything SHOULD be resolved today. The issue with the water line being damaged and the repair failing were unfortunate issues, and we understand that things like that can happen. Even the repair not holding is an understandable, albeit frustrating, development. Our main issue was the lack of ability to get in touch with appropriate people to try to get this resolved in a timely manner. Update: JES finally got someone out yesterday to remove the sump pump so that the plumber could get to the broken pipe, and the tech said I would hear back from the manager in the morning, I've reached out to the manager, and have NO response. needless to say I am not thrilled with the lack of communication and inability to resolve this in a timely manner... During a waterproofing and sump pump installation the crew damaged the water line into the house, and supposedly repaired it before installing the sump pump. Less that 48 hours later, the repair on the water line broke. The company was "unable to send a plumber out" and asked us to supply our own plumber to fix the issue. When we refused to contact a plumber on our own, they found a plumber, but the plumbers company won't do any work until the sump pump is removed and JES is unreachable. read more

They assessed the problem and came up with a plan to permanently address the issues with water intrusion and the estimate was competitively priced. The installation date was sooner than I expected much to my surprise. The installation team, Mike Baines, Devin Nowiki, and Larry Robinson, came in and quickly got to work. I called the end of March 2025 They came gave me cost and I put up deposit. They came and tore out my kitchen floor, had cabinets removed by a private party. As of today......nothing has been done April 24th, I kept getting excuses. I was never told anything about permits, which I'm told takes 4 to 6 weeks. I would never ever recommend JES I can't even order cabinets. I have no floor just plywood with screws sticking out..no communication. They have money but I have a torn out kitchen. My husband is sick. It looks like I live in a vacated home. read more

JES came out 8-6-2025 in the morning with a group of guys and began digging. These workers never stopped. Luckly the temperature was somewhat lower. All were very pleasant and answered all our questions and concerns. When they were done they cleaned and raked and left the area spotless. Since then we haven't had much rain until recently and it rained hard. Because of the heavy downpours we continued to go down and check our basement. The area was "bone Dry"! JES left my home in worse shape and won't return my calls to come repair the damage left. I reached out to them to install a joist support system under my kitchen so that I can renovate this year. There were floor joists under the back door that had been cut during a renovation about 30 years ago. JES installed a jack system but then left my foundation under the door where you can literally see daylight from the basement. I brought this up to the crew before they left late Friday night (they worked long hours just to "finish" without even asking me if it was okay to trap me at home that late), and the lead just shrugged at me. Shortly after they left, it rained, and sure enough, water poured into my electrical room and all over the freshly poured concrete. I called Friday night, sent an email and text with videos, and called today 3 times. Each time the "production manager" is "busy." Before this, they were perfectly capable of blowing up my phone to see if I could schedule sooner. JES is seriously lacking in work planning and professionalism. read more

Karon C. and Damien F. showed up precisely on schedule and finished in due time. The carport they levelled was in pretty rough shape, but they did all they could, given its original shape. Although the result is not perfectly flat, the condition was explained. It would have been nice for more of the crack filling sealant tubes to have been included in the job proposal, as there are a couple of cracks which were not included in the proposal by the original inspector. They did not have enough sealant allocated to plug everything. I am not opposed to a followup "second opinion" given the price of the service. I am aware of the five year warranty, and do believe your technology should be able to "fill the blank." I was told where I could obtain more crack filler. No aspersions on your crew's abilities, however. It wasn't their first rodeo, for sure... It might have been that they got down to the bitter end on reagent allocated for the job, available in the truck, and perhaps more of the amount that was allocated from their drumset wouled have been necessary for a billiard-table result. (They did have 3 more jobs scheduled for the day.) I bet returning to the shop for more product would have been a pain. For what it is worth, I am speculating on the comments above. I did not discuss the details with your crew. They obviously know more of the tech than I do. However... I was briefly in the urethane foam business way back in the early 1970s, and do know it is not just a technology, but an art. A messy one! I know enough about urethane foam to know I could count on a positive outcome in my carport, per your ads. Mine might be a worst case, but... I was Quality Assurance Manager for a little outfit called API Systems, in Elgin, Illinois. We dealt with product that had FREON as a blowing agent. The jobs we did included turning polebarns into refrigerated storage units with spray foam. The ozone layer was not our concern then.... I had hired JES Foundation Repair to install some colums in my basmet to correct a sag in the floor. JES found a way to disapoint at almost every oppertunity. JES was absoluty sure that this install was a simple one day project. The project was scheduled for July 15th quickly spiraled into a mess due to issues with two water lines that had been decussed with the enginner that came to my home. JES sent out a plumber who, instead of focusing on the task at hand when he arrived, decided it was appropriate to flash his concealed firearm and share his political views, including his opinions on LGBTQ+ matters. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply unsettling. After the water lines were moved JES was informed--once by the plumber they sent and four more by myself--I informed JES that everything was ready. They scheduled the completion for August 9th, but that day came and went with no call and no show. When I called to ask what happened, I was told they had never put the job on the schedule. After following up, they rescheduled for the 15th, only to call me a few days later asking to come on the 14th instead. I agreed on the condition that the project be completed that day, and they assured me it would be. On the morning of the 14th, I received a text at 7:34 AM saying the crew was on the way, followed by a call from the foreman at 7:35 AM stating they couldn't make it and would come tomorrow instead. I am beyond frustrated with JES Foundation Repair. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect for my time have made this a truly unpleasant experience. I cannot recommend their services and strongly advise others to consider alternatives. read more

Review update: After I posted my review, Andrew from JES reached out to me and Rusty was able to schedule an inspection with me ASAP. He did an incredibly thorough job getting behind the walls and diagnosing the problem. He was really good at explaining to me what the issue was and the steps he was going to take to tackle the problem. There were many layers of issues that were all compounded and effecting each other. Rusty was really good at teasing them apart, getting the right people on the job, and systematically working through everything. His team is incredibly polite, communicative, and really hard working. He was able to schedule multiple teams to come out to the home to fix the problem and worked around my chaotic work/travel schedule to get the work done. Working with him and his team was essentially night and day from the previous team. I was very comfortable with his team in my house and I knew they were doing a good job to seal up the home and diagnose the problem. Rusty's team has really good communication with each other. One team would leave and the other would show up and they knew what the previous team had done. Also wanted to give a huge thank you and shout-out to Tommy. His knowledge of homes, electric, foundation etc is vast. He put a lot of time and hard work into fixing up my home properly and it was much appreciated from me. If JES had tackled my home problem like this from the beginning, I would have been happy and recommended the company to others. I am happy with the work they have done currently to fix the house but highly recommend that management go back and review communication issues internally between departments to ensure all clients have a good experience like I recently did. read more

Poor communication after work has been done. Drain emitter the installed are coming out of ground and it will be a month before they can look at it. Hear nothing back so I contact them after about 2bweeks and they tell me someone else has to come out and make a assessment. I was told he would get right back and it's been a week. read more

Josh came out to our house on three separate occasions. He was very professional. He was very kind and friendly. He explained everything to us. He answered all of our questions. He even helped me with another issue I had at my house. My sons and I both felt comfortable with him. But the price was just under $50,000 which was a lot. So I got a second opinion. For the same exact work JES was doing, the other company quoted $32,000. It was like a $15,000 difference. We are going to go with the other company. It had nothing to do with Josh. He was perfect in every way and we appreciated everything he did for us. We all actually feel kind of bad that we're going with another company but I don't have $15,000 to throw away either. But JES you are pricing yourself out of business. My cousin in Roanoke also used you for an estimate and you were the most expensive one. So of course she did not go with you. You are more than 25% higher than every company we looked at. This was for replacing support beams and crawlspace encapsulation. read more

They did the right thing to make things right in the end. The experience started with the salesperson who came out and looked at my issue. He recommended a solution, the guys did the install, and initially all was okay. They worked fast and did good work. They didn't need to install a new power circuit which was in the estimate so they refunded me for that when I called them. I noticed after a little while that I still had some humidity problems, told the sales guy, and he came back out to look. After some back and forth which took a bit longer than ideal, the right person got involved and solved the issue. Turns out the initial solution was not enough but they corrected it without any added cost. They could have easily ignored me but instead they cared enough about my overall experience to come back out several times and make it right. read more

JES did a good job repairing the foundation on a house years ago. Used them again on another house last year. Recently they called to offer a free recheck. I was out of town when they did the recheck. Two weeks and multiple calls later, they still haven't sent me a summary report. WT___? Why offer to do a recheck when the customer has to chase down a copy of the results? Not good. read more

I had a great experience with JES concrete. The foundation around my home had been sliding crooked for years. I didn't know how you fix it until I saw a commercial. I called them, got a fair quote and that was it. When the techs, Dayquan and Cameron , they were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and explained what they had done. Please do not use this company. Everything down to the financing is a lie. I am a local real estate agent and know the importance of a professional job with integrity. The salesman who came out to my job promised work that was not delivered. The first time the workers came out to complete work. My plumber went to the crawl space and alerted me of the horrible work. Exposed dirt the wrapping was not installed correctly. I notified my sales person and wanted to speak to the General Manger of the company, who never called me back. I waited two weeks for a second crew to come out. Once they were completed. I had Devere Isulation fix the work that was supposed to be down by JES. I was over charged. $6000.00 dollars compared to other companies that would have insulated my crawl space. This 100% my fault for not getting a second estimate. In total I was charged 13,900.00 for a crawl space that is 400 square feet. They also installed a machine that runs constantly and it flooded my crawl space then broke. The salesman also referred a finance company that deferred payments. I did NOT need to do this but felt like it was the smart thing to do because I maybe selling the house. Again, my fault for trusting this man. Turns out this is another lie. The finance does not defer payments. Now I have to waste time seeking council. I don't want any young people or vulnerable seniors to be ripped off. Please get your estimates from other companies and save yourself money, time and aggravation. read more

Richard and his son and crew did a very good job. We had a misunderstanding with the salesman but it was handled by management successfully. I'm hoping for a big rain so I can hear that pump kick in , battery back up is additional... if your handy u could do that yourselves.
