Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. Communication throughout the process was slow, and I had to repeatedly call and request escalation before receiving consistent updates. Ironically, communication became much quicker when it came time to collect the final payment. While compensation was eventually offered, it felt like the minimum possible amount considering the inconvenience and lost time involved. In the end, the final product turned out well, but the scheduling, communication, and ordering issues made the experience frustrating overall.

Home Genius completely replaced my roof in April 2025. I trusted this company, paid them to do the job, and expected them to stand behind their work and warranty. Unfortunately, that trust has been seriously damaged. It has barely been over a year, and I now have an issue with my roof. I contacted Home Genius on July 27, 2026 to report the damage and request that someone come out and inspect it. Since then, it has been an absolute nightmare. I have made multiple calls and repeated follow-ups, only to be sent around in circles trying to get someone to actually address the problem. I should NOT have to beg a company to inspect a roof that THEY replaced just over a year ago. Today is August 27, 2026, and I am STILL waiting for someone to have the basic decency to call me back and properly follow up on my complaint. This is completely unacceptable. What makes this experience even more infuriating is how different the customer service was when they wanted my business. They were quick to contact me, quick to sell me a new roof, and quick to get the contract signed. But once there is a problem and I need them to stand behind their work, suddenly getting a response becomes nearly impossible. That is not what I consider customer service. That is not what I consider standing behind your work. I am not asking them to blindly approve a warranty claim. I am asking for something extremely basic: RESPOND TO YOUR CUSTOMER, SEND SOMEONE TO INSPECT THE ROOF, AND ADDRESS THE PROBLEM. If the company believes the damage is not covered under the warranty, then have the professionalism to inspect it and explain that decision.
