Jesse Ososki Art Inc. does fantastic work. My wife and I purchased a new house in Redwood City recently and we had an extensive list of renovations planned. Two items were of highest priority in our list of renovations: building an extensive deck and pergola in our backyard and redoing the entrance and walkway to our home. We canvassed many contractors to bid for our project. Jesse Ososki Art was referred to us by a trusted contractor who had done quality work for us when we resided in San Francisco City. We ended up choosing Jesse Ososki Art for our two top priorities, and the choice was easy. Upon first meeting Jesse and outlining my plans, we could see that he was immediately engaged and enthusiastic. Out of necessity, we gave Jesse Ososki a hard and aggressive deadline. They honored it and we were very grateful. They take great professional pride in always meeting deadlines. 3. The crew is professional, very hard-working, meticulous and attentive, and respectful. They are craftsmen. They take great pride in their work. They are committed and involved in the work they are doing. On one occasion, while undertaking a critical task, they did not hesitate to mention that an item may have been overlooked in the planning. The suggested a fix, and though expensive, the suggestion was very critically correct. Many would have overlooked this omission, especially since addressing it would jeopardize the hard deadline they were facing. The fact that they did not omit the suggestion, and still met the deadline, showed great professionalism. We have great admiration for the work done by Jesse, his foreman Raul, Alex, Mario, Roberto and others. We had nothing but pleasant interactions with them all. 4. Our plans required working with many difficult materials. Some of the techniques and materials required were novel to Jesse and crew. But they were unfazed, did their research, and their work really showcases the beauty of the materials. 5. The lines of communication were always open. We had access to Jesse and any of the workmen at any time of day and would get swift responses to our needs and questions. Additionally, we were always kept up to speed on development on a daily basis. 6. Besides being diligent in their craft, the firm of Jesse Ososki is inspired by "art": hence, Jesse Ososki Art Inc. They are inspired and enthusiastic to create beautiful work. That is a rare quality. For us, it was a boon and a wish fulfilled. We had two highest priority jobs in our renovation plans. There's something to be said for getting exactly what you ask for from a contractor. I hired Jesse and his crew to remodel our backyard shed into a bedroom. The entire process from bid to completion took less than a week, came in exactly at the cost he said it would with no surprises and looked exactly as I had hoped it would, if not better. This is the guy. Really. He has designed tables, trellis, chairs, bookcases, headboards, lighting, sculpture, additions, patios, bathrooms, floor plans, there isn't anything he cannot do. Best of all, he makes you look good, like you have excellent taste and design cred. His design is sublime, it melds so well into the feeling of the room or space that no one notices until you point it out that there are 17 different pieces of custom work surrounding them. I am very pleased to recommend Jesse Ososki to other homeowners and landlords looking for a remodeling contractor characterized by high competency, reasonable prices, extraordinary service, and great communications. Based on the highest praise of Jesse's work by a couple we've known for many years, we retained Jesse for what we thought would be a very simple replacement of built-in vanity with a new model at a house we rent out. Regrettably, we bought the unit ourselves from a well-known distributor and asked Jesse to pick it up and install it. However, the distributor delayed the shipment and lied about the timing and when it finally arrived it was damaged. To get the job done before the new tenants arrived, I had to ask Jesse to send his crew about 50 miles to pick up this very very heavy item. They insisted on opening the crate at the warehouse, and discovered the damage. They took a photo of the damage and emailed it to me, and called to ask if I wanted them to take delivery or not. I asked if they could fix it themselves, and they said yes. I agreed to proceed, they brought it to the site, fixed the dings, and installed it flawlessly. Throughout the process of our hemming and hawing, and the nasty back and forth with the distributor, Jesse communicated with me by phone and email, exhibiting a calm that reduced my stress about the process and the outcome to nearly zero. I just knew he would get it done. And he and his great team did it. They also assembled and installed a wardrobe in a tight space and did a great job with that. Brilliant work. Great professionals.
