But it's not the place, it's the people that make the place. There is a reason this place has a lot of five star reviews and it is definitely because of the people - and the work was done right too. Nor did they make any effort to keep me updated with anything during the repair. This makes it more costly on the customer when it comes to purchasing a rental during said time. I brought my son's car in and they ordered his parts but like you would be able to do with anything else you order, they couldn't give me any delivery dates for when anything was coming in. Only that "they might be here sometime next week". This would be understandable if I didn't look online for the same parts and was told the delivery time was 2-4 business days. gas is expensive and they don't always answer the phone. We've gotten our car back and the repairs seem to be okay for now but I gave them my hard earned money just to feel unvalued. Personally I won't be using this business in the future. Not trying to be disrespectful by saying this but I would recommend using Caliber collision repair just a bit further down the road or just checking for better ratings in general especially when using your insurance. Not only do they fix your repairs in a timely manner, they work with you to keep you updated and can even provide a ride to rental services. I was driving to upper Wisconsin from Florida, when my alternator started acting up. After getting…read moretowed to Car Corral and explaining the situation, it looked like I would need a new alternator to the tune of $1,350. PLUS it was only 4 hours to closing, so they wouldn't be able to finish until the next day. I was devastated. However John, the owner, asked one of his guys if he could stay late and fix it... I have a 4 wheel drive, so it was an expensive and time consuming process (8 hours). His guy said he would stay and started on it. To my surprise, John came out after a bit, and said the alternator was fine, but I needed a belt for it and swing arm assembly (?), that it was a loose wire causing most of the problem. So now, not only did they get me back on the road a couple hours later, but the price dropped to $500! I was excited! I know almost NOTHING about cars, and these guys could easily have just TOLD me they did the work and replaced the alternator, but their honesty was the keynote that prompted me to write this review! They are friendly, efficient, and mostly HONEST! Thanks guys!!!
