Super flavorful and well seasoned. There is a small parking lot inside/behind the business. Anyways. I wish they had ONE salsa that wasn't spicy. Maybe the green tomatillo one was mild but other than that theyre all spicy. My husband's burrito was fire. He used the red spicy salsa. My tacos were fire. I would come back now that I know the spot. I would take them to go even though they have sitting inside. Good customer service. The staff were nice.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.

Here is why you need to check out Hungry Bear Tacos: * Handmade Tortillas: You can really taste the difference; the tortillas are fresh, authentic, and have the perfect texture. * The Quesadilla: It is huge and loaded with melted cheese and savory meat--definitely a must-order. * The Vibe: Their truck is one of the most impressive I've seen, complete with a TV that makes waiting for your food actually enjoyable. * Top-Tier Service: The staff was really nice and provided great service, making the whole experience even better.

The employees are nice. As for the food itself, on my first visit I had an amazing al pastor burrito. It was packed with meat, fillings, and flavor. They also separately packaged the salsas, cucumbers, radishes, and limes, which I appreciated. I came back within the same week and ordered an asada burrito. It was still good, but not as generously filled as the burrito from my first visit. They also packed all the radishes, cucumbers, and limes on the same plate as the burrito. As a result, the vegetables were warm and unpalatable. I'm giving 4 stars because my first visit was excellent, but based on my second experience, they do seem to lack some consistency.

Although their prices are high, $16 for a torta, it's usually worth it, because their portions are quite generous. Earlier today, I ordered a torta to go, and I ended up extremely disappointed when I got home. It had literally half the meat, half the beans, and half the cheese that it normally does. This was the first time I'd been disappointed with their food, but I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction. I was passed to the manager who handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. I explained the issue to him, and he insisted that my torta today had the same amount of meat, beans, and cheese as always. I disagreed with him, and he responded angrily, "Everybody makes mistakes!" He raised his voice and repeated it a couple of times. It was completely bizarre that he chose to speak to me as if I was the one who'd done something wrong. It's very childish to do a subpar job and then get upset and frustrated when you're called on it. An adult apologizes and pledges to not blow it again. Anyhow, I don't tolerate disrespectful people so I'm done. I won't spend another penny there.

The birria ramen had the same issue it tasted mostly like salt with very little actual flavor. The tacos were just okay, nothing that stood out. On top of that, the prices are high. The service was also pretty slow, and they only had one salsa option, which unfortunately wasn't good either. There are much better birria spots out there. I gave this place a try because of all the hype, but I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

You really can't see the inside but the outside gives it a nice outside lunch experience. I finally went inside and saw the space! Not only that but they do have TVs and have the games on. First let's talk price - this burrito comes in just shy of $18. $18 is steep but with the economy being what it is I'm willing to roll the dice and pray the food is decent. This my friends was not it. Burrito was almost as flat as a pancake. The smallest chunks of meat were inside (maybe 1oz worth if I'm being generous). There was maybe a sliver of beans and cheese? Mostly this burrito was rice and again, so thin that not that much of that either. The actual chile???? Where was it???? Also so small it was like a side note. This burrito was so thin and lacking in ingredients that it should have been $8 dollars at most. So my question is, is this the norm or were they just running out of ingredients tonight? Positives I will give this place - tortilla for the burrito was fresh and delicious - just enough of a crisp on it too. The red and green salsa were both fire. They had a heat to them that you don't find much anymore. Overall - I'd come back for a taco since they are small and open faced but Never ever ever ever a burrito.
