One of the mice I got, Lucky, my mom and sister got for me when they saw a person with a snake buying the mice for the snake... She only lived a few days after I got her. Some of the more specialty products, such as medicine and the syringes needed to give the rodents their medicine, we needed to go to more rodent-centric pet stores to get. The fish-related products I needed I could get here 9 times out of 10. Workers have been knowledgable and helpful in my experience. The parking lot is large and shared, that has not been a problem in my coming here.

What really stood out was that he didn't just tell me what to do -- he actually demonstrated how to properly clean the bottom of the tank, which gave me so much more confidence going home. I never felt rushed or talked down to, just genuinely supported. The selection of fish, live plants and accessories are incredible! The fish look happy and active, and I now have a few favorites to come back for once I get a bigger tank. I don't understand the negative reviews about cleanliness, how do dog salons stay fricken clean? The tub was clean, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were labeled and freshly filled. Aprons were nice and not dingey. The selection of brushes and combs was magical! I've been wanting to try a deshedder brush! I loved this place and my boy is so fresh and so clean! We will be back!! Worth the $30!!! If they had a spend $150 and get a free wash or a self wash punch card that would be nice too! Lastly, the staff were friendly. Idk how much the negative reviewers want staff to talk but I don't want to have a conversation while trying to clean my dog and get on with my day! She's super finicky, so I was not looking forward burning through products until I found one she likes. No problem at Mud Bay! They have samples for a lot of the different brands, and where they don't, they're happy to comp if she doesn't like one or another. What a great service! And the folks at the store are so nice and accommodating about it. (And stress not about waste. Any unused product they'll take back and donate to a shelter.) Great shop. Now my go-to pet store. Right next to Trader Joe's makes it even more convenient.

One person brought me to a specific display area where two choices were available. I made my decision based on what this individual had to say about these products.
