Very quick and efficient service. Pretty limited menu options however. We go every Friday.

I went with a breakfast burrito which turned out to be HUGE. The burrito took a few minutes but it came out hot and fresh. Flavor-wise, it was a solid burrito. You have the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Of course the weather is perfect during breakfast hours. Would definitely go back.

I was welcome to stay as long as I needed to eat my meal. What an unexpected and KIND gesture!!!! The guys were young but extremely courteous! I ordered a bowl of clam chowder...YUM!!! How can you go to Brophy's and not eat chowder? I also ordered a Baja fish taco and a shrimp taco. I love fish tacos. This one was super moist and crispy on the outside...perfect seasoning and the pickled onions were spot on!! The shrimp taco was a nice surprise. They are grilled (no guilt over extra calories) and good flavor. There is a good combination of savory with a little sweet from the mango salsa. The mangoes were not as ripe as I like, but the salsa had good flavor nonetheless. I especially appreciate that the young guys checked on me and asked about the food and if I needed anything. I visit SB a couple times a year. This is definitely going to be one of my pit stops. Oh... did I mention the nice surprise on my bill? I didn't even realize the perks of taco Tuesday. Kudos to the management for hiring such good workers!

This one sits in a strip mall so there is plenty of free parking and seats to eat at. My wife was bummed that there was no more sea urchin to be bought when we pulled in at dinner time but the fried fish taco special was too good to pass up so we both ordered that, the kiddo got the grilled salmon plate, and we also got a bowl of clam chowder to share. All the food was delicious! The fish tacos were the way I like them- a big piece of fish with cabbage, a little pico de gallo, and a dollop of sauce- not too many overpowering flavors to let the fish be the star of the show. The clam chowder was creamy with plenty of clams, and the salmon plate had great salmon that was cooked nicely (still moist) and what was likely an entire avocado sliced up on the plate. Great food, we'd definitely come back!

Really enjoyed the fresh oysters here. The smallest, most expensive one (they had a few different ones that day so I tried one of each) was understandably the tastiest and creamiest of the bunch. The other ones were good too, and all of them had a salty brine on them. They also provided some lemon wedges, marinara (?) sauce, and hot sauce. The fried soft-shell crab burger was interesting to try once, not particularly my taste but if you like fried soft-shell crab it could be great for you. I would like to come back, especially for the fresh oysters. Hoping to try some other menu items next time.

I recently returned and got exactly what I used to get and was disappointed in the lack of seasoning/flavor in general. I saw someone else comment that chipotle has more flavor and I'm inclined to agree-especially when it comes to the chicken. Service is always friendly and fast and I always want to support a local business over a national chain, but I'm sad to say I don't know if I'll be returning after spending $25 for a bland experience.
