It just want good like 10 years ago nasty! They didn't even clean the table outside and the waitress was being a prick. Like she actually rolled her eyes cuz I wanted to eat outside and the tables were dirty as hell with dirt etc and she left the swirls of dirt on it like it's clean. No Mexican food is worth that long of a wait at a dirty table, in a barely air conditioned undecorated space with a waitress who was unfriendly and acted like she didn't care if we were there. She never tried to explain the delay or smile, let alone apologize. Plus the place wasn't even half full. On my way to the ladies room, with only one toilet, which was not flushing, I spied the kitchen with its door flung open. Mountains of dirty dishes without anyone near. Two elderly women moving in slow motion manned the kitchen. When our food did arrive it was okay--2-3 star. I had the greasy quesadilla al la carte with beef. Hubby had shrimp and KRAB enchiladas. That's the fake krab meat, not related to the crustacean spelled with a C as in crab. Honey child had chicken enchiladas, which were packed full of meat. I would not return to this place. Unless you have lots of time to kill, DO NOT eat here. The food is not worth the wait. read more

My hubby and I had the best meal here. This was our first time visiting. The food was amazing rice had great flavor cheesecake was so creamy and delicious, Hubby had cecivche tostadas and horchata he said they were so fresh and refreshing. We decided to give this place a try and we're quite disappointed to say the least. We ordered the chicken mole and Chile relleno, taco and enchilada combo. The chicken mole was unlike we've ever seen. My husband said it was quite bland for a mole and he actually thought he got the wrong dish. My combo plate wasn't great either. The enchilada had mostly vegetables in it and only a little beef. The Chile relleno was okay but I've had better ones. The taco was good. I didn't really care for the sauce on my items since it looked like there was a lot of thickening agent in it since it was very apparent on the surface of the sauces. We did not enjoy our meals. No offer of refilling chips or salsa. In fact, after taking an order and dropping off food, waitress never came by. Despite some bad reviews we came here anyways and we were not disappointed. The chips and salsa still start were satisfying and kept us happy while we waited for our food. My girlfriend ordered a cheese enchilada and a Carne Asad sope, both very respectable and wouldn't mind ordering again. I ordered the shrimp a la diabla. Very spicy dish and one of my most common orders at any sit down Mexican joint. Highly recommend this place especially in Los Banos we'll be back. read more

Well... this place is FILTHY... Tables DIRTY!!! Floor DIRTY!!! Bathroom DIRTY!!! I hadn't been to this place in over a year last time I ate there it was good... must have changed owners cuz this place went to CRAP... I ordered the double burrito combo plate with Chile Verde and a tamale to replace one of the burritos... the plate came out the first time with a FRICKEN CHIMICHANGA!!! Did I order the Chimichanga?!?! No I didn't!!!! So My wife says she will wait and I said no babe enjoy your menudo before it gets cold... 10 mins later my plate comes out with what I ordered but... Only half the burrito is covered in Chile Verde sauce... Wait there's more... I look at the tamale that's paper thin and about the size of a snicker bar (and not a king size one either) and it's only half covered with cheese and enchilada sauce and dryer than a desert also the ends where hard like it had been microwaved too long... MAN what kind of foolishness and cutbacks is this place trying to pull... all the tables had these ugly red table cloths which were stained and crusty looking like a dirty baby diaper then this foolishness with my food... If you have ever been to Mexico then you would know that this is the most authentic home cooked food. Its not too spicy and not over seasoned but you can always add seasoning or a vast array of chili sauces to season to taste. Starting with the freshly cooked hand made corn tortilla chips and freshly made salsa with grilled chilies, this was a delightful taste start. Completing this dipping appetizer was a cup of freshly made refrito beans with authentic queso fresco, again all freshly made in house. The waitresses were all too willing to refill the chips and salsa as many times as we asked during the meal, and just like in Mexico, the place was bustling, so you need to be patient and ask and you will receive. The main course was chicken tostada a la carte. The tostada was a freshly fried corn tortilla with a lovely crunch, filled with fresh moist and lightly seasoned shredded chicken breast and topped with fresh chopped iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded mild yellow and white mozzarella cheese. The homemade salsa and glass of house white wine or cerveza extra fully compliments this dish and with the appetizer is a very satisfying meal. During the course of the meal many people brought in their own pots to have them filled with freshly made menudo and/or posole and take home. Just like in Mexico, you will need to pay at the counter unless you let the waitress know beforehand and again just like in Mexico, you should try various dishes before settling on your favourite. Just don't tell your mama you went here to eat or she will be very jealous. read more

This place was so disgusting it tastes bland and feels slimy l. How the heck can you ruin chiles rellenos and chile verde? Normally when the food sucks i can still say the waitress was pleasant but not in this case she was super unpleasant. I highly do not recommend this place.
