    3 soft Tacos

Came here right after work on Thursday around 5:30 pm. The place was almost empty with 1 other customer inside the restaurant. You walk up to the counter and order your food, pay there, and seat yourself. The food will be served to you once they're ready. It was dead silent besides the chef in the kitchen freshly cooking my meal. I waited roughly around 10 minutes for the tacos and while I was eating my tacos the churro was brought out to me on a red tray. I had asked for extra onion and cilantro on mine and was happy to see that they were able to accommodate me and not skimp out of the onion and cilantro. I had also wanted horchata to go with my tacos but they had sold out for the day so I was a bit disappointed. The tacos came with 2 sauces, what appears to be a salsa verde and something spicier than a typical salsa roja. It was more grainy looking, deep dark red and definitely spicier than typical salsa roja. The meat itself was slightly over cooked and had a slightly hard chewy texture. It wasn't juicy/fatty but kinda dry. However, the overall flavor was still there so it didn't really take away from my experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the churro because it took me approximately 10 minutes minimum to eat my 3 tiny tacos and the churro was still very warm when I bit into it. There was some type of filling inside as well. I asked my coworker about it and she said it may have been dulce de leche. It really enhanced the overall flavor of the churro and I really enjoyed eating it. Would love to come back here again but only for the churro.

Small joint in a strip mall. Very friendly service. Felt relaxed. Good food. But not overly good to make me say WOW! I would go back. Asked for queso and got canned nacho cheese. Alambre was basically a bunch of mea, yummm. Chicken, bacon, steak. Mixed with fajita veggies. Friends said their dishes were average.

I didn't know fast food could be this fresh! The service is friendly too, and the place feels very cozy and real

    "Chilaquiles"

Been here before for a burrito and it was good. Came back and made the mistake of ordering chilaquiles with eggs. The eggs were burnt, the yolk completely solid. The whole plate was inedible and hard. They should not offer chilaquiles because thats not what I got. It was like a stack of 10 very soggy tortillas stuck together with barely any red sauce. Won't be coming back. Waste of food and money. food tasted so old.

I've been looking for a decent Mexican place for years now since moving from Tejas. I've searched high and low and all have failed to impress....and suddenly. Five minutes from home I stumbled into this little spot. I judge many places by the types of dip they have. Mexican restaurants have to pass the salsa test. Theirs was good and I ordered guacamole which was made to order. Say what? Fresh guacamole! And...fresh chips....am I still in Colorado??? That alone sold me on this place. It's not Texas but it's pretty tasty. I almost don't want to write a review so as not to spoil it but business was quite steady so people are in the know. I also kudge a place by the micheladas they have. This place has one the size of a jug and it's tasty to boot. Definitely going to return here soon. By soon, I mean tomorrow.

A lot of places popped up, but this Mexican restaurant really stood out -- great reviews and the food pictures looked amazing. It's about 13 minutes from the airport, which made it super convenient. From the outside, it looks small, but once you walk in, it's surprisingly spacious. We were seated immediately, and our server was absolutely phenomenal -- so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. For an appetizer, we ordered the queso fundido with chorizo (you can choose corn or flour tortillas). This is one of my favorite dishes to get at any Mexican restaurant if they offer it, and this one did not disappoint. The cheese was perfectly melty and stretchy, and the chorizo had great flavor that paired so well with it. Wrapping that cheesy, savory goodness in a warm tortilla? So good. For my main dish, I ordered the quesabirria -- corn tortillas filled with birria and cheese, fried crispy, and served with consommé for dipping. It was decent, but I will say it didn't have quite as much flavor as I'm used to with quesabirria. Still enjoyable, just could've used a bit more seasoning. The beans were actually delicious and full of flavor, but the rice was a little bland and could've used some salt. Overall, the service was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and even though it was busy, everything came out in a timely manner. The prices were also very reasonable -- definitely not expensive for the quality and portions. I would absolutely come back to try other dishes. With just a little more seasoning in some areas, it would easily be a five-star spot for me!

Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. We were told our total was $32, but when I paid with a card, the final charge came to $34.93. When I asked why the amount was different, I was told it was because I paid with a card. I understand that taxes and fees may apply, but customers should be told the full amount before being charged. What bothered me the most was the attitude. When I politely asked for clarification, the person cooking responded in a rude and arrogant way, saying, "You know that in the United States you have to pay sales tax." I wasn't questioning whether sales tax exists, I was simply asking why the amount I was quoted was different from the amount I was charged. I also noticed that my receipt showed a Denver sales tax rate of 9.15%, even though the food truck was located in Aurora on Hampden, which added to the confusion. The food is excellent, but the customer service and lack of clear communication left a negative impression. I would return for the food, but I hope they work on treating customers with more respect and explaining charges more clearly.
