Friday night, and we opted to try a new pizza spot. This takes some convincing in my family but I got the number of votes needed to try a new pizza place. I ordered on their website, very easy to use website. Simple and straightforward ordering process online. We opted for a large Detroit style pizza with cheese sprinkled crust. I added a chocolate chip cookie for dessert, it's like a cookie cake that serves 4 people. Delivery was very fast. Dropped at my door with contactless delivery. Driver had mask and gloves on. Always nice to see and we appreciate restaurants focusing on safety during this difficult time. Piping hot, cooked well done, crispy buttery crust. Lots of cheese and toppings. Square cut and great flavor throughout. This was my first go with "Detroit Style" pizza. With Detroit being in between Chicago and New York that gives you a basic idea of the hybrid pizza Detroit style is. Thick but crispy crust, eat it with your hands no fork necessary, quality toppings and very little to no "pizza crust", kids loved it with no crust they never eat anyways. Chocolate chip cookie for dessert was icing on this pizza experience. Soft baked chocolate chip cookie cake that served 4. Jets pizza is the real deal. I suggest trying for your yourself. Traveled to Denver, tired and hungry with a very early appointment the next day...did the easy pizza delivery move. Picked Jet's- reviews and variety sold me. We live in a Pizza Hut dominated area...sticks of Nebraska. Jet's was the answer to the short term goal of flavor and filling my gut. Deep dish, butter crust with some pepperoni and mushrooms. Oh my god, I used to love this pizza! It was unique, great flavor, and I probably got it at least once or twice a month. Just got it tonight after a few months off and it's horrible! Undercooked, no flavor in its sauce (which used to be its best part),, cheese is so undercooked it's just pooling on the pizza, (not browned/cooked at all) and just a sloppy mess. It honestly looks like someone bought them, but kept the name, as it's not at all the same crust, same crispness, or same flavor. I have had pretty good experiences with Jets before. We have a probably ordered pizza about five times from them. The last time I called, I had issues with an excessive hold time and confusion at the other end of the phone. It was frustrating, because I was hosting 17 girls at my house that night for my daughter's birthday party. I didn't need that kind of hassle, but the pizzas came eventually and were just OK. I don't love the thin crust pizza as much as the thicker crust version. Not sure I'm going to order from here again ant time soon. read more

Yum! A little unassuming place off of County Line and Holly creating great Detroit style pizza. My husband and I ordered a pepperoni pizza with the customer appreciation coupon for $8.99 and added a calzone with it. Way too much food but we have leftovers to enjoy another day. The pizza is nice, buttery and perfectly crusty. The cheese is melted just so and works well with the grease of the pepperoni and crust. The calzone was tasty, cooked to perfection and went well with the sauce on the side. I really enjoyed this place, my husband not so much. After getting harassed by flyers and coupons for the new jets that's just down the road, we thought we better try it out. Do our duty as yelpers you know. Friday evening, about 6.30pm we rock in and although the kitchen was busy the place was empty, we looked like the only customers! Lots of deliveries or people who called ahead for pick up. There was actually quite a few orders ahead of us. Still we were told out order would be a 12 minute wait. Not a very big place but there is a bench to sit and wait and a bathroom. The tv is in the wrong spot according to my hubby, it's on the wall behind where you sit to wait. Our coupon was $11.50 for a large pizza w,single topping and a free 4 corner pizza. We upgraded to a specialty pizza and got bbq boneless chicken too and it came to about $23. We got the Jet 10 with free garlic flavoured crust - pretty good, heaps of topping; bold pepperoni on the 4 corner - really yummy, I don't usually like lots of crust but it was good, heaps of sauce; and the chicken pieces - nice and flavourful but probably won't get them again. Chicken is just a vehicle for the sauce. The young man serving us was very nice and helpful with his suggestions but didn't offer us sauce to go with our chicken pieces and we didn't think about it at the time either so we went without. We sat and watched as our wings came out, then the first pizza, then after ages the 2nd pizza. We were curious as to weather or not the first pizza and wings would be cold when we got home but they were not too bad, the receipt was between the two pizza boxes on the ride home and it got burnt! Overall for quick, easy, tasty enough and for the price, it was pretty good. read more
