Service was good and sushi was very tasty as well as fresh. Was just busy so it took a while for the food to come out.

One of the better sushi spots in Colorado -- maybe my favorite overall. I've been here twice and would absolutely come more often if it were closer to me. The sushi, sashimi, and omakase are all outstanding. The quality is consistently exceptional. The restaurant itself is a nice, medium-sized, upscale sushi spot tucked into a strip mall. The service has always been attentive and friendly. One thing I really appreciate is that many of the specialty rolls come with dipping sauces that truly elevate the flavors and make the dishes stand out. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

Another great lunch here today. Spicy edamame is a fantastic way to start the meal. I went with my three reliables...the Rocky Mountain, Caterpillar, and New York. Disappointed to see the New York isn't on the menu anymore, I was happy to learn they'll still make it if you write it in the space provided. Score! My daughter got the Philly, California, and she tried the Tiger for the first time. While she liked the Tiger, she was a little freaked out by the shrimp on top (yes, I know). Not sure she'd get it again because of that. She liked my New York the best and the Rocky Mountain the least. Service is always attentive and great.

Happy hour lunch? Yes, please! We had the tempura mix, miso soup, Tiger Roll, Rocky Mountain roll, and spicy tuna. All were delicious. I wish the RM roll was spicier, the jalapeno was lost. But it was an excellent deal and tasty and so we will definitely be back!

This place offers good quality fresh fish and recently they started offering dry aged salmon, tuna and hamachi. Service is always great! We love coming in here for dinners or happy hour.

    Great specialty rolls.

Our party of 18 came here last night for a birthday dinner. The entire staff from making the reservation to getting seated to receiving incredibly friendly and prompt service was amazing. Although they didn't have uni or hot sake, we still had a blast. My family had a great time and the quality of the sushi of this place is why we wanted to bring the whole family! They were able to put all the tables together to fit all 18 of us and we couldn't be more appreciative for that! Thank you to the attentive staff who always made sure our cups were filled with water and frequently checking if we needed anything else.

This place is super cute. I was my first time dining here and I kinda went crazy lol I'm not a super fan of sushi but I'm definitely in my exploring phase. There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was very good and the service was excellent !

This restaurant made me really stomach sick. I eat raw sushi almost every weekend, and this is the first sushi restaurant in Denver that has ever made me sick! The staff & service was great, however. Prices were a bit high compared to other restaurants as well.

Came here for lunch on MLK which meant no Happy Hour menu. Ordered very simple, Asaka roll , Cali Roll and an order of Goyza. Goyza came out quick like 2 minutes, it was very good. Asaka roll was ok I think the lemon sliver on top was weird to me. Would definitely recommend.

    Takoyaki and Shrimp Tempura Roll

What a great place!!! I went for their lunch happy hour, and the prices couldn't be beat. The food was delicious and had so much flavor, and the portions were great. The edamame was freshly steamed and lightly salted. The takoyaki was delicious but could use just a tiiiny bit more sauce, but otherwise it was incredible. You could see the octopus inside! And it was served freshly made and steaming hot. The shrimp tempura roll was also amazing. The servers were nice and professional, and the restaurant was well-staffed, clean, and nice inside.

Our go to sushi place! It is simply the freshest and best! We can't find any place that beats it. Their rolls are creative, fresh and best I've had in Denver. Everyone we take there agrees it's the best! And the service is excellent

Y'all this is a MUST!!! Their happy hour is such a steal, absolutely loved it all. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We may have accidentally entered through the back Enterance instead of the main - we loved the miso, sushi and appetizers. Super duper yummy!

Then a big piping bowl of tonkatsu ramen with pork belly, Hammurabi egg and delicious broth. Please note that I tried things that other people have mentioned in their reviews as things they liked. I had the crunchy tuna appetizer, which was essentially several golf ball sized lumps of rice deep fried, with a tiny amount of tuna and I think avocado on top. It probably should have been called the crunchy rice appetizer, and really was not, to me, worth $14. Next up was the Joker roll, which I believe is mentioned by more than one person as their favorite thing here. If you like pepper, it's the roll for you. I have never had such a peppery sushi roll in my life and I did not like it. My final roll was the mango roll. Now I know what mangoes are and I knew what I was getting, so I can't really blame the restaurant for the fact that I guess I've learned I'm not a big fan of sushi rolls with fruit on them. It was well made for what it was, just not my particular favorite. The miso soup was lovely. The restaurant was nice and clean and as I have said, the service was impeccable, friendly, really everything you would want. Which is all the more reason I was disappointed that the food did not ring a bell with me. If you go to this restaurant, I would suggest you avoid the things I've mentioned and perhaps try some others. You may have better luck than I did, and you will be served well in the process.

The atmosphere, the food, and the staff. Perfect! Everything we ordered was great. The fish neck, tempura, and karage were so good. I don't normally eat fish neck but I couldn't pass this up. Sorry about the picture of karage, my wife started grabbing pieces before I got a chance to take a picture. Moist and flavorful. The dipping sauce that came with it paired well with it. The tempura was lightly fried and the sauce completed that dish. The entree, with so much we ordered I'm shocked we had room for the entrees. My wife fell in love with their yakisoba. She said it brought her back to Japan haha. I had the tongkatsu and beef curry. It really hit the spot. Filling and delicious. The staff was very courteous and helpful. That's exactly what happened at East Moon. The menu is huge. Sushi, ramen, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes... basically something for whatever mood you're in. Usually when a restaurant tries to do that many things, something suffers. That wasn't the case here. The sushi nachos were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Honestly, I could've made a meal out of those alone. The combination of fish, mango, avocado, sauces, and crispy wonton chips just worked. We also ordered gyoza, beef pad thai, a Hawaiian Dragon Roll, sashimi ceviche, and tonkotsu ramen. Everyone at the table had a different favorite, which is usually a pretty good sign. It's definitely giving date night energy: low lighting, candlelit tables, and a cozy-but-busy atmosphere. Every time I've gone it's been pretty packed, but I've never had trouble snagging a seat (and I never make reservations). Honestly, it's become my go-to for a solo night--cocktail in hand, spicy book in the other. My routine? Friday nights. I settle in with my book, order the Thai calamari (which has the perfect punch of flavor), and wait for the 9pm special--$0.99 oysters until close on Fridays and Saturdays. Such a steal. The servers are always great, but Chris really stands out--attentive, kind, and totally gets the vibe of letting me relax and enjoy my drink and my book. I also came during Denver Restaurant Week and did their 3-course menu: calamari (obviously), the sea bass (which surprised me in the best way), and the blood orange olive oil cake... WOW. Light, citrusy, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. Most recently, I brought my boyfriend and we finally explored more of their oyster selection. Our server guided us based on our flavor preferences, and we loved a few so much we had to order another dozen. This spot is a gem--whether it's a solo unwind night or a cute date.
