They have the best Detroit style pizza in E. Lansing and Detroit in MHO. When I lived in St. Clair Shores for 40 years they were my go to spot for Detroit style pizza. When I moved back to my hometown in EL they're still my favorite. read more

First timers here...But we've had pizza from literally every other place in town...somehow we hadn't stopped here. Well Jan 21, 2021 we picked up a 8 corner Hawaiian and a 8 corner Meaty and they were both amazing. I am usually disappointed in Detroit style Square pizza because its too doughy but these arnt...they are crunchy seared cheesy loaded with ingredients and not just dough...very flavorful. Quality here varies dramatically, I always get the 8 corner deep dish. Sometimes it's balanced perfectly, other times it's very off. Once it was over baked and dry, once it was all dough and terrible, like pizza bread. Most of the time it's perfect, caramelized edges, with plenty of oil, toppings and cheese spot on. So I would order from them more often, if only their quality was more consistent. Wish you all luck! read more

So I called my order in. They tell me 20 minutes for pickup. Cool. I take a shower and head out. By the time I get there its been over 20 minutes. I go in to pick pizza up.....not ready. I been sitting in this darn place an additional 10-15 minutes waiting. I feel like literally ANY other pizza place could've remade a pizza from scratch in less time. I love the pizza from here but this is a ridiculous ongoing issue and it isn't getting better. It was not like this originally. Every Jets i've ever had i've needed a load of napkins to sop up the pool of grease, these "deep dish" pizzas are more like deep fried. Not a fan of this style of pizza or the cheese Jet's uses. I think this chain is - you either love it, or hate it. These days I also no longer care for chain pizzeria's with their commercial ovens and commercial grade toppings... quality or no thanks for this pizza snob. read more

First time ordering from this location. I ordered from here about a week ago over the phone. The phone call took less than 2 minutes and the food took 15 minutes. When I received my order, it was hot and fresh, and also correct. Although I have cut down on eating pizza, I do recommend this location. Of course you will need to wear a mask to enter. read more

I did my first and last online pizza order . After several attempts to place a phone order and not having it picked up, I resorted to ordering online. It was simple enough I guess but I would have liked to order a garlic butter parm crust which wasn't an option ( something that could have happened with a phone to phone order) A super special and two wings order came to 40 bucks. Aye, here's the rub now. I requested the pickup time to be 530 pm. When I got there and waited behind a couple of people it was about 535 pm. My Oder was ready but it was COLD. The receipt was generated @ 5pm so the pizza was probably sitting under the lamps for 20-30 minutes. What's the point of requesting a particular time when they make it when they want to or when it's most convenient to them?. I was already ticked that I had to order online to begin with. I was not going to wait around for another order so I grudgingly took my food vowing never again. Saw a couple of homeless types hanging around Frandor that would probably have been happy with cold pizza and wings so in the end it's not that big of a deal, just another first world problem. I'll give my business to places that will answer the phone so I can get hot food if I'm paying a premium. Lots of great bar pizza and local joints in the area. Can't say anything about the quality of service since others picked up the pizza, so I will just comment on the pizza itself. This is a deep dish place... holla!! I LOVE deep dish pizza, especially if I can get a corner piece with slightly crusted edges. Pizza joints seem particularly common here in Lansing, but that's probably just what I've been eating the few days I'm here. I know I like corner pieces, and Jet's does it perfectly... I just wish the whole pizza was made of corner pieces, cause I was slightly disappointed by the middle pieces. They seemed to be less tasty than the corners and edges. I love Jet's pizza, and the deep dish is always on my rotation of bad-for-you food. This location has its challenges, though. They always seem to run Kate and forget a topping. I am here sitting in the lobby again waiting. I did the online order 30 minutes ago, and received a confirmation number but no email confirmation. So I called and they verified they received the order that is supposed to be ready in 15-25 minutes. I show up at 25 minutes and they struggle to find my order, but the did finally find it... the problem is the cooked only 1 out of 3 items. He said the pizza was still in the oven but the bread sticks were never started. I said "forget the bread sticks then", and he responded saying the wings weren't started either. Gotta have the wings! Then he said the bread sticks would take the same amount of time as the wings, so I told him to make both of them. Of course, when the wings came out, the bread still wasn't started. So here I am 42 minutes later finally getting at least a partial order. If I get home and found out they forgot my sausage, I may just have to boycott these guys! read more

We ordered Jets a few weeks ago when my dad was in town working on my house and the food was amazing as usual. I love the Eugene Supreme Detroit style deep dish specialty pizza plus jalapeños and my significant other and dad prefer bbq chicken or veggie. I also love their spinach and feta cheese bread with ranch, or the bacon cheese bread plus jalapeños and ranch. My shining any other loves their pizza sauce for dipping and we also enjoy the boneless buffalo chicken wings with Asian sauce on the side. Employees here were wearing masks due to COVID which was also refreshing to see. I normally do pick up be use it's not a long drive for me so I cannot speak to their delivery/contactless delivery policies. If your on the fence about trying Jets, do it! read more

I love Jett's but this location sucks! 1) The people are SO rude. They sound high when you order on the phone and when they deliver they are grumpy and abrupt. 2) NEVER ORDER ONLINE HERE! It takes a ridiculously long time and when you get your pizza it's clearly not fresh and the cheese and toppings are all over the place! I have ordered online several times now and it's always the same. 3) In general the pizza quality here is low. The single slices are burnt. The one star is for the refund and politeness of the employees. The rest of my experience was straight trash. I walked in to order and there was only one other person in the lobby so my order for one pizza and one cheese bread was taken immediately. I was told it would be 15 minutes so I sat down to wait. I was on the phone so I can't say exactly how much time had passed but it seemed like the appropriate amount of time when an employee came out and handed me two boxes. I am from out of state and staying 20 minutes from the location. When I got to my destination, I discovered they had given me the wrong order. I immediately called the store and spoke to the manager, who apologized and offered me store credit. As previously stated, I live in another state so that would be no good to me. I declined store credit and asked to have my order remade so I wouldn't drive another 20 minutes each way to receive old pizza. The manager said she would check on the pizza as it was in the warming oven and remake it if necessary. I couldn't believe she would even suggest that and I told her that I did not want the pizza that I had ordered going on an hour before, I wanted it made fresh, and she assured me she would do so. Upon arriving for a second time, the store was again empty and I totally understand why. I received an apology and was immediately brought out my pizza, which seemed hot so I assumed it had been remade. When I made it back to where I was staying again 20 minutes later, I was furious to discover I had been given the original 90 minute old order. Apparently it was still hot because it had been left in the warming oven. All that time in the oven turned the cheese into plastic, it was inedible. I gave it to my dogs. One of them was unable to chew it because he's old and has fewer teeth and that's how hard and nasty it had become. It sure wasn't fit for human consumption. I called back the manager. She again offered me store credit! I did my best to not sound as disgusted and irritated as I was feeling as I once again declined the credit and again explained why it would be useless to me. I requested a refund, explaining how it would at least cover the gas that I used to drive back-and-forth there twice. The refund was issued. We decided to try the cheese bread, which looked like the time in the oven had been more forgiving to. It was nasty. In addition to the plastic cheese, they had made it in a pan or brushed with or in some way cross contaminated with the cinnamon bread so it was cinnamon and sugar crossed with the hardened cheese. I couldn't even swallow it. It was Fear Factor puke worthy. I've never had such a horrible experience from people who were seemingly polite. The employees and manager obviously just don't care at all about the food they're serving. Even though I visit the area several times a year, I'll never go this location again and honestly this experience has turned me off to Jet's in general. That sweet cinnamon plastic cheese bread was it for me. With all of the other options in the area, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this location goes out of business. Don't waste your time or money. read more

ok i'm so hungry right now and i need to go grocery shopping so i am really wondering why am i writing a post for a food blog right now, and especially a post for THE BEST FUCKING PIZZA EVER??? something is wrong with me. jet's pizza is amazing. somehow in growing up in michigan i totally missed what everyone tells me is a michigan food staple but no, i never had it. it is classic detroit style square pizza. i have been a lifelong buddy's pizza fan and i have to tell you, jet's is better than buddy's. yes. you read that right. the amazingness of jet's is limitless. so first of all it is like the best, crunchiest, butteriest crust ever. then there is the fact that they pile on the exact right amount of gooey delicious cheese and zesty sauce. and the toppings are ridic. it does not hurt that the first time i had jet's pizza it was covered in bacon. but i have since had it with other toppings and still feel the same way. and in the interest of science (ha) i ate buddy's pizza covered in bacon right after i ate jet's pizza covered in bacon and it was not as good. the crust is less flavorful and the sauce is disproportionate, and also buddy's has always had this problem where like the toppings and sauce pretty much only hit the middle third to half of the pizza, and you have way too much plain crust. moving on to other menu items, they have super delicious cheesy bread sticks and super delicious boneless wings and the most fucking amazing ranch sauce you have ever had in your life which is reportedly made in house and which annette tells me you will never eat again if you know what is in it, and i do not know what is in it and do not plan to find out so i can happily gorge myself on it until the end of time and/or until i die of a corotted artery (or however you spell that) (and what the hell is a corotted artery anyway? is this one of those things that i just made up in my head?). clearly the ranch sauce has already gone to my brain. eat jet's pizza immediately. that is all. read more

For years I have been a regular customer of Jet's at the Frandor Shopping center and have always been treated with friendliness. Not tonight. I went in to pick up a pizza and I didn't think they saw me, so I politely waved at the guy near the oven and he glared at me and coldly told me "we'll be right with you" and then continued to glare at me. Then a different guy came to the counter and I was pretty irritated by that point and I asked what the guy's name by the oven was, and he refused to tell me. I asked the guy at the counter what his name was and he refused to tell me as well and refused to tell me the Store Manager's name too. If they had done nothing wrong, why would he refuse to give me names? He then refused to give me the pizza I ordered. I was red hot angry and the conversation with the counter guy went outside after that. He continually interrupted me and tried to talk over me and escalated the situation even more. At one point I told him that the "customer is always right" and he told me they weren't. I called him a bunch of names during the outside discussion. Oops, in retrospect I wouldn't have done that, but the fire was being fanned by him. He then yelled at me (after all this time had passed) telling me the employee involved was a special needs employee. If he had just taken me aside at the start of this and told me nicely, I would have dropped the issue, but he chose to infuriate me more. My beef by this time was with the counter guy who continued to throw gas on the fire, no-one else. I am a retired Accountant, but for 4 years I was a Store Manager at several Rite Aids. When it comes to customers who are complaining fairly or unfairly, the employees there were instructed not to argue or do anything to anger the customer more than the customer already was and call a manager if necessary. They were not allowed to give "attitude" to an angry customer and argue and I had little patience for those who broke this rule. As I was finally leaving Jet's, I asked for the owners name and of course I did not get it. If I feel like it, I may go down to the Secretary of Commence and pull up the Articles of Incorporation for this store and get the names of of the Officers and send them some registered letters. These days integrity is in low supply, so I'm sure the employees there will stick together and deny or stretch the facts. Perhaps I will plant a seed with the owners though. I ordered their Hawaiian pizza and when I received it, it was hot. However the pizza was cut uneven, not all the way through, the items were in the center. The crust was tough and tasted like cardboard, while the center was not baked all the way through. The bacon was almost non existent. I called to complain was put on hold for 5 minutes and when I did speak to an associate she really didn't seem to care. read more

There are a lot of things great about Jet's Pizza. But this location is the worst. As I write this we've been waiting for our pizza for 2hrs. After a 1hr & 10min we called to find out they were only taking pick up orders because they only have one driver. Our order had been sitting there for 40min waiting to be delivered. We said we'd come pick it up and were told "oh it's on its way now". 35min later still no pizza. This place needs to get it together. I have been ordering from this Jets for a few months now and they cant seem to understand when you say I want the jet stix the bread without the cheese. I get cheese bread every time. They ran out of lettuce and offered me a small instead of medium. They mixed a Greek salad with an antipasto and gave it to me like that's all good!
