Jet's Pizza N Tamiami Trail 5-19-24: We wanted something to eat fast as our evening was very busy. I called Jet's Pizza at 4:30pm which was a little over 3 miles from our location at that time. We got their Jet Bot, an automated order system that you can talk to order your items. If you used this Jet Bot, you will save 15% on your bill. We had a couple questions to ask so we chose not to use the Jet Bot as we wanted to talk to a person. They answered fast and we asked a couple questions and we settled on the JET10 Pizza which was 8 slices loaded. This pizza was hand tossed with Premium Mozzarella, Peperoni, Ham, Hamburger, Italian Sausage, Bacon, Mushrooms, Onions Green Peppers, and Black Olives, Just the way we like it. They stated it will be done in 20 minutes for our pickup. We got there within 17 minutes and by the time I walked it was ready. We got home, opened the box, and proceeded to try this pie. It looked so good and smelled even better. Nothing was burnt and all the ingredients looked very fresh. It tasted very good from the sauce to the crust and all the ingredients tasted great. We were very pleasantly surprised how good this pie was for one of the chain Pizzas. I see another order in our future for sure. Our order was about 23 dollars and we picked it up. This was easy to order, quick to pick up and very good to boot. I give this hand tossed Jet10 pizza a 4 out of 5 stars. This place is open most days from 11-10. Friday & Saturday from 11-11. You can pick it up or they do deliver to certain areas, but they will charge you a delivery fee. They have other items besides pizzas they make subs, salads, wings, deli boats and desserts. This location has went downhill pretty quickly in my opinion. It used to be solid every time until the last 4-5 orders, pizza was always baked great and made well...lots of toppings and flavorful, always felt good afterwards (no sick feelings) but it's unfortunately changed and is just not as great. As said above; the last 4-5 orders were very poor. We did a chicken bacon ranch pizza, a pepperoni and sausage pizza and a pineapple and chicken on the very last order we made which was less than a month ago and I felt pretty ill for two days, as well as my husband and our company. Aside from being ill, the pizza wasn't good. The toppings weren't distributed evenly and did not taste fresh. The crust was either way over cooked on one pizza or way under cooked on another...I swear I almost broke a tooth on one slice of the chicken bacon ranch crust. To top it off, I was browsing the Life Restaurant Florida app looking at health scores and they have a fairly lower one (anything under an A is low in my opinion, especially when it comes to food safety) and the health report mentioned mold in the building. Won't be ordering from here for a good while, maybe until the next health score comes out and it's better. read more

The last two times haven't been great. Thin crust Pizza has come soggy and not crispy and warm not hot. Jets prices are high compared to other pizza places. I really liked them before and was willing to pay more. Love their bold pepperoni. But I'd it's not going to be cooked well and arrive warm and soggy it's just not worth it. Wings are okay. Our first order was like tomato soup on soft bread topped with cheese. I just didn't understand all the good reviews. We order two large pizzas and after 4 slices out of each pizza, this went straight to the trash. So a couple of weeks passed, today I was going to order from a different local place but since this place delivers to our area, I suggested to my family that we give it one more. I said maybe it is what we ordered. I said maybe if we specify less sauce, we won't have soup on bread. They agreed and that's what I order. Cheese pizza with jalapeño and onion easy on the sauce. And a pepperoni and olive pizza easy on the sauce. They definitely did easy on the sauce which was nice because the crust was not soggy. But the problem is the sauce is straight out of the can. It has to be, there is zero flavor. It's $31 for two large pizzas, and that's cheap. But when I want to have pizza I wanted to taste like pizza. I'm sorry I gave them two try's....And it's never gonna happen again. I give this place THREE STARS because 1) they deliver 2) the staff is amazing 3) because I choose to try again. let me say if I could give no stats I would. ordered a pizza last night for delivery. when it arrived it was not even close to what I ordered. I showed the delicery driver who validated it was wrong, I tried to get her to take it and she said she could not and advised me to call the store. when I called the same girl who took my call answered. I explained the situation. i did not want to wait another hour so i told her to credit me for the pizza. Jocelyn( which she said her name was, receipt says Kayla) began calling me a f**king liar, a f**king b*tch repeatedly stating I only wanted a free pizza. I told her that I could send a picture of the pizza, or someone from the store could pick it up. This vulgar, vile girl would not stop she called me names over and over. when asked to speak to the manager she stated he was right beside her and he thought I was a f**kng Cu^t as well. An hour later I called the store once again, this time speaking to Manager Brian, explained everything again and he admittedly heard what was said and did nothing. He never once offered an apology for their error. The Girl vulgar girl stated I would never be able to order from them..,.... Really, why would I ever want to? This is the type of person who is loaded with anger, the kind that would intentionally harm someone. I never gave them a hard time about THEIR mistake.
