I always forget about how good Jet's pizza is until I have it. First, don't be intimidated by the fact that it shares a building with an animal hospital, it's just a hilarious coincidence. We did a pickup order for a Detroit-style deep dish pizza and two sets of wings. We ordered everything to be well done because we like crispy edges. The food was ready on time, and was still hot by the time we brought it home. Everything was cooked to perfection. They spared no toppings on the pizza and the wings were generously flavored. We got the 8-corner pizza and it with the wings was enough for 2-4 people. I was able to eat this for dinner and lunch the following day. I would definitely recommend Jet's Pizza if you're looking for a smaller chain than your typical suspects, and are a fan of Detroit-style deep dish. They don't disappoint! read more

Good pizza option for takeout but only so-so for eat in dining. It's loud and busy without much service if you dine in, since the vast majority of the business is takeout/delivery. I decided to stop by this Jet's Pizza location along Oakland Park Blvd to redeem a coupon offer I received in the mail. The parking around the business was limited and people were steadily coming in to place or pick up an order. Using the coupon, I placed an order for a large 3-topping, NY-style pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and bacon. It would be a 10-15 minute wait so I sat down and waited. Jet's Pizza offers a variety of specialty pizzas in six crust styles: Detroit-style, thin crust, hand-tossed, NY-style, seasoned cauliflower, and gluten free. There's also breads, wings, boats (looks like calzones), salads, desserts, and cold beverages. Their lunch specials are available until 3pm. When I received my order, I opened the box and was satisfied with the look of the pizza; the sauce, cheese, and toppings complemented each other well on a crispy thin crust. We had an amazing experience thanks to Joe, the store manager! We placed our order over the phone, but the person we sent to pick it up accidentally placed another pizza order. Joe was incredibly understanding and kind, and he made sure we weren't charged twice for the mistake. Excellent customer service like this is hard to find. I loved the 4 Corners pizza I had...essentially a personal-sized deep dish that's more than enough for one person. I've struggled to find a really good pizza spot, and this is officially my new go-to. The edges were perfectly crispy while the inside stayed soft and fluffy. The only small downside was that three of the four slices could've used a bit more cheese, so I'll definitely add extra next time. Overall, a solid 9/10. read more

Jets Pizza is the best at Oakland Park Location. Nick and Joe are the best at taking care of the customer as well as all of the other employees. The food is fantastic, the service is great and the Ambiance makes you feel like you are in the old still pizza places that you used to go to as a child. It took me many years to think of trying Jets, boy was i missing out!, good crust, tasty sauce, not too sweet, not hot.... just right!, and the cheese is better than many other commercially known pizza joints in town. This is my top pick for pizza as a chain. They have a great deep dish square pizza and with the sesame crust, it just rounds out the package. Great service, they told me the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes and you could run a clock by it. Clean parking lot, clean inside. You can tell most of their orders are pick-up or delivery. Ordered the food in advance for pick up. The food was ready when they promised it. The pizza was good, but we'd planned to dine there before our concert, and the chairs and tables were nowhere to be found. They had a single small bench inside for folks to wait for their order and take it to go. Customer service was okay, we weren't exactly welcomed with a smile, but no one was nasty or mean either. A "Hi, welcome! How can I help you?" would have been nice, but oh well. We were helped quickly, paid and then ate in the car. The pizza was good. I ordered the 8 slices in case 4 would leave me and my husband hungry, but we stopped at 6 and had leftovers, so good deal. I think 4 feeds a single hungry person just right (speaking as someone that can chow down a whole lot of pizza). We ordered our pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, and the pizza was good, I just wish the mushrooms had a little more cook time, but that's me that's not crazy about mushrooms, so I have a little bias. My hubby is crazy about his mushrooms and pepperoni. I found it interesting and different that the tomato sauce was sweet, it was good. Mostly loved the cheese, crust, sauce ratio of this deep dish and how the cheese perfectly burnt just a tiny bit along the edges. A notch above Pizza Hut, I'd say. We ordered the small and while we sat there and ate it around 5pm on a Saturday evening, many customers came and went. The inside of this location isn't anything special, no decor and I don't even remember there being music on, but that pizza that is coming out of it sure is! I have driven past Jets Pizza a lot & seen the signage, and always wondered how is this pizza ? Well the other day we went to a new pizza restaurant in the area called BlueSteel & they specialize in Detroit style pizza. It was very good & it made me interested in more Detroit style pizza. The answer was Jets pizza that just happen to be 1 block from my job site on that day. Looking up the website, they were promoting a 15% discount if you order thru text on your phone. It's was very easy and convenient to order the pizza via text. Arriving to pickup, the actual entrance door is on the side of the split business building, and is stark inside, with the windows being high on the wall, with no out ward view, and no music ambiance, and feels different. They do have a few tables inside, if you decide to eat in. We picked up the Detroit Style pan pizza, 8 corner style, adding sausage & mushroom. The crust was crisp, but not burnt, nice thick & buttery. The topping were plentiful, the sausage was mild and good sized, and jets claims to have very fresh daily hand sliced vegetables, and the mushroom were just like they claim. Well I ordered a pizza on Helloween probably one of there busiest days. I ordered online it gave a approximate time of delivery. About 15 minutes after that time I called the store to tell them I was leaving the house fairly soon so if they haven't sent the pizza, I would probably have to cancel. I guess the manager got on the phone he said I have a guy coming in. I can have the pizza to you right away. He did. It was here in a few minutes. I was very impressed with the way he treated me.
