I wanted to get some comfort food on a weekend and this location had great options in the menu , and the location was super cute inside and service was great each of the server make sure we had everything we needed while we were there waiting for the order . I ordered a pizza to go because the parking wasn't great and I had to park kinda far and wasn't sure my car was going to be towed or not . Food was good , great ambience . But not good for parking so car pool if you come with people . read more

Camille's is such a sleeper hit. The food comes out fast, everything tastes super fresh, and the portions are legit. I got a classic breakfast plate and it was exactly what you want first thing in the morning -- simple, hot, and actually seasoned. A low quality Chicken Parm doomed my experience as it was just not consumable and featured chicken that was not fresh and that was bad enough but it seemed like the chicken was fried in cheap oil which imparted a disagreeable taste. Pappardelle with mushrooms was nicely cooked but I believe it had truffle oil mixed in and who wants synthetic oils in food? Pizza was okay and forgettable. Service was good and parking was easy. read more

Camille's is an upgrade at least in decor for this Italian Restaurant. There is now a bar and more of an upscale feeling. There are some oddities like they blast 1970s music and have the TVs going at the bar which seems less upscale. It could be a Florida thing. I ordered the vodka pasta dish. The sauce was good flavor-wise. The noodles were ok, not particularly tender. The serving size was generous then again it was just noodles and some sauce. I found the server staff were pleasant. However, there was seemingly a long wait between order and delivery. Overall the dining experience was fine. I assume the owners will refine the quirks as the restaurant matures. read more

After seeing their food on Instagram, I ordered delivery to give them a try. Delivery was done through DoorDash and was quick. The food was well packaged. Meatballs: The sauce was very oily. Meatballs had good flavor and were tender. Cacio E Pepe: Tasted fresh and flavorful Lasagna: layers of meat, cheese, sauce and noodles. It tasted fresh. Paccheri Alla Vodka: The sauce didn't have much flavor. Pappardelle and mushrooms: It was oily and didn't have a strong flavor to it. Mushrooms and pasta were fresh. Overall, I found the food to be okay. The pastas all needed more sauce. Not sure if it was soaked up by the noodles during delivery, or if they are served drier than I prefer. Visited the newer spot tonight. (been Italian as long as we can remember, but new owners, menu, branding). It's a large footprint for Oakland Park. I was surprised to read others complain about the service because our server was very kind, accommodating and attentive. We also encountered another staff member who thanked us for coming in and asked how everything was. Nothing but great on service! Luckily, that greatness also translated in their food. We had pizza and chicken parm. Portions were HUGE and everything was hot and delicious. The prosciutto and arugula ($19) "small" was anything but. It was thin, crispy and loaded with toppings! Two people can def share this. The chicken parma John was plenty for two meals ($26) and they had zero issue with me requesting a sub for my side of spaghetti to angel hair with Alfredo. Appreciate that! I took an antipasto salad home to the hubs, and although it was a good portion and fresh it did lack in meats and cheeses for a $15 price tag. We actually counted and it only had 1 round slice of salami. Other reviews mentioned something similar so maybe take note, Camille's? They have a great bar area with TVs and plenty of seating for those wanting something a little more casual. Their pasta is made fresh, in house, daily. I really want to try the mushroom pasta. 5 Stars for a fabulous meal and drinks that delivered on flavor! Pro-tip, get any of the pasta dishes because many are homemade pasta! My fave: Pappardelle & Wild Mushrooms. I arrived early to meet a group, so I hung out at the bar with who is likely the most friendly bartender ever (but not in a creepy way). He hooked me up with an amazing dry martini with olives while I waited for my friends. Once we sat, we started and ordered a large array of dishes and please believe me when I tell you there was not one single miss in the entire order. Here are my standouts: - Pappardelle & Wild Mushrooms: This was devoured quickly. The pasta is homemade and PHENOMENAL. - Caesar salad: The dressing is homemade and this was an absolute pleasure. - Salmon picatta: She's PERFECTLY cooked with a great sear!! - Cheese pizza pie: I hate a soggy pie and let me tell you that this pie was homemade perfection. 10/10 would order again - Tiramisu: Again, big fan. Went just for dessert and regretted not having lunch there! Cannolis were great! Delicious large serving of chocolate gelato! And a freshly made, piping hot cappuccino. Service was great! This restaurant is gold, from their pizza, pasta dishes, and drinks best expresso martinis I have ever had Kudos to the bartender. Loved visiting this cozy spot tucked away in unassuming strip mall. Easy to find, I did have to circle the block a couple times to find parking, as it is fairly limited in the front of the building. Once inside, I was impressed with the elegance of the space, while not feeling pretentious. I met a group here, and we lingered over multiple dishes of many varieties. My Caesar Salad was crisp, the homemade parpadelle was great, the service was beyond awesome. The hazelnut gelato was to die for! read more

I think we had such high hopes...food was average. Meatball appetizer not flavorful and also tough. I'd heard the Caesar salad was amazing...it was not!! I have better Caesar salad at Sicilian oven. It seemed like it would be quiet. ...but then it got noisy like so many other places. My best item was a drink with vodka and blood orange soda. There are so many Italian choices here...my husband had a dish of dry breaded eggplant . ...needed flavor or sauce. read more

The food is incredible! The service needs some tweaking. The ambiance is very relaxing and the staff are extremely friendly. This was only their second weekend in business, so there are those moments when things don't run smoothly. I had to remind our server/bartender about our frito misto appetizer. Then our Cesar salad did not come before the entrees and was then served promptly when our server was reminded. All in all, for a new restaurant of this caliber of food, we will definitely return! read more

What can improve well let's start with the size of their own choice air like California tapis very small I thought I'd give him a second chance this time I had pasta I left hungry in the past it was cooked perfectly however, someone to teach him how to make marinara sauce I don't know what that was I try to support this restaurant I've been coming to this location for over 25 years Ben 10 different restaurants I just changed again yes is the worst part of all those other restaurants don't even bother You heard of the farmers dog I would even give him the food from this restaurant. With much anticipation, I took my Mother to lunch at Camille's last week. It was very disappointing! The dinner menu was extremely limited and the lunch menu had but only a few choices. For a new restaurant the prices were on the higher end. Not turned off by the prices, I was still excited to dig-in and enjoy my meal. It looked quite delicious but both my mother and were disappointed as the sauce lacked taste and my chicken cutlet although large was dry and tasteless. We've been twice with vastly different experiences. First time waiter was friendly and attentive. The pasta was excellent as was the pizza. Second time the server was good but stretched thin. The sausage and peppers were really good but the plates of pasta were extremely disappointing. Both had water in the bottom of the plate. I'm assuming they didn't let the pasta drain properly after pulling it out of the water. Showed it to the server and no apologies, just said he'd mention it to the kitchen. It'll be awhile before we go again read more

My friend and I tried you out on last Thursday for lunch. Someone referred you. The first disappointment was that you were out of chicken parm. How could you be out of the most popular Italian/American dish on earth? So easy to prep for. So I ordered the prosciutto panini. It was dry and the mozzarella was dry. There was only 1 slice of meat. The bread should have had some olive oil or a vinaigrette . It was lousy. My friend ordered pasta with rabe and Sausage. It was smothered with onions and the sausage was a rolled spidini in the bottom of the plate and the pasta blown away. The worst was the chicken wings, again, dry, no flavor . Flat . The service was ok but the waitress seemed bothered when we asked for items needed to enhance the dishes which were utter disappointments. I'll never go back. read more

My wife went with the lasagna, and this is where things got a little chaotic. Flavor? Absolutely there. Rich, comforting, the kind of sauce that makes you slow down and pay attention. But the temperature situation was all over the map. Hot at the bottom, warm up top, and a mysterious cool zone in the middle like it was hiding secrets. It didn't ruin it, but it definitely kept it from greatness. We closed it out with a slice of cheesecake that was light, delicate, and knew exactly when to stop. Not heavy, not over-the-top, just a clean, smooth finish that said "you made good choices today." Shoutout to our server, whose name I completely missed because I was busy wrestling a sandwich the size of a small child. Friendly, dialed in, always there when we needed him and never hovering like a helicopter parent. Four stars, and it hurts a little not to make it five. Fix the lasagna consistency and we're not even having a conversation about it next time. Because yes, there will be a next time. And when I come back, I'm ordering that sandwich again, bringing extra napkins, and leaving my dignity in the car.

It'll do. Our efficient server took our order and brought out in house brewed sweet tea for everyone. You won't find that in Pittsburgh! Calamari for starters. Tubes and tentacles just as I prefer. I chose the Pitts-burger which is loaded with fries and slaw in the sandwich which is the PBs way. Yummy. Took half home. A filling lunch with good friends.

The pie was too thin and the crust was not poofy or pillowy with a crunch like we like it. I would also like to comment on the size. We ordered a 16 inch, which is the largest size. It did not seem large at all. It's slim pickings for pizza in Florida. We will keep looking.

Eventually, people started gathering near the opposite end of the bar by the bathrooms because there was at least a little more breathing room. Once seated, the atmosphere is very lively, loud, and fast-paced. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely not the place for a quiet intimate dinner. Our server also may have been having an off night because there was a bit of attitude mixed in throughout the meal. That said... the FOOD. Unreal. Absolutely worth the wait and reservation struggle. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The sweet long pepper, Savage Garden salad, and Bolognese pasta were all incredible. Then came the pizzas--the fresh tomato pizza ("upside down pie") especially was ridiculously good. The squash blossom and cold pulled burrata pizza was also delicious. Their vegan cheese, vegan sausage, and vegan pepperoni are all made in house, and you can taste the difference. They even make vegan cookies, and while the vegan ice cream is not made in house, it is still excellent. We ordered a New York style pizza with vegan pepperoni and mushrooms and a Detroit style pizza with vegan sausage, peppers, and onions. Both were incredible. The crusts were perfect. New York is foldable and flavorful, Detroit is thick and crispy on the edges. Choosing a favorite really comes down to personal preference. I honestly could not pick one. The vegan sausage was especially impressive, full of flavor, and the pepperoni was cooked just right. Next time the only thing I would change is asking for extra cheese. It was so good that I just wanted more. The sauce is just as good as everything else, and I recommend asking for a side of it for dipping. I usually leave some crust behind, but not here.
