I can see where one would have mixed feelings about Jetty, but I think they ultimately deserve better than three stars. We went as a family of four last night for dinner. We were seated immediately, but warned that due to it being the 4th of July, the kitchen was behind. The restaurant had at least half of their tables open, so my guess is that Jetty was also cooking up the burgers for the outside BBQ. Regardless, our server came over quickly, and the wait wasn't as long as I was expecting after being warned. First of all, from the kid's menu, we ordered chicken strips and fish and chips. They were $10 and $12 respectively, high for a kid's menu, but very generously portioned. For that price, you'd still expect to get milk or juice included, but you do not, and that ends up being an extra $3. My husband and I ordered the Elote Dip, which sounded fantastic on paper, but were told they were out of it. Instead, we opted for the Tuna Poke. While the flavors were your standard poke flavors, i.e, soy, ginger, and sriracha Mayo, it was quite good, and tasted fresh. Having said that, it seemed more like an entree than an appetizer. It was difficult and confusing how to share without "double dipping". Luckily, it was just my husband, but had we wanted to share with friends, we would have been putting the same utensils back into the dish. We were expecting to be able to scoop some poke on maybe some Taro chips, but this was more like a sushi bowl with rice, edamame, and cucumber. Still, very tasty, and nicely portioned. I ordered the Grilled Flank Salad, with the meat ordered "medium". I loved the generous amount of charred broccoli. The base was arugula with blue cheese, which is also a favorite. Unfortunately, the steak was way overcooked , as in well done to the max, to the point of being even more difficult to chew than flank steak usually already is. Had this steak been cooked as ordered, I would have rated it 5/5. As is, 3/5. My husband ordered the linguini in a lobster sherry sauce. He liked it, but the portion was quite small for the price and he left the restaurant still hungry. I would suggest added a protein side like chicken or shrimp if you want to leave satisfied. This was definitely not shareable. As a matter of fact, I declined to try his dish because the portion was just too small for me to want to take any from him. Service was very pleasant and adequate, but there was a mix up with our bill when we were shown a total for $107, but our card was charged $132 prior to tip. I asked the server if tip had been automatically included, to which she indicated that two bills had been mixed up, and that she would fix it. She returned saying that she voided that transaction but needed to run my card again. I was not provided with a void slip, so I took her on her word and will now follow up with my bank to make sure I wasn't charged twice. As far as the environment goes, I thought the restaurant was absolutely lovely. Floor to ceiling windows, with beautiful views of the marina, and people walking by. Lots of natural light. I did not feel as though I was sitting in your typical hotel restaurant. I would definitely go back and give Jetty another try. They clearly have several kinks to work out, but the potential is there, and I can see the thoughtfulness that has gone into the menu; even if the execution wasn't perfect. read more

I got here at 5:50 pm after work looking forward to a cold beer. Well, it's 6:20 and I'm leaving. I walked in the bar, and the bartender said hi, so I said hi. I wait while he's doing something behind the bar. He keeps looking up at me. I'm kinda of waiting for him to ask me what I want, he doesn't. He goes to a table and gives them their check, goes back behind the bar, and continued ignoring me. So I decided to go get a table instead. I walk to the hostess desk, a waitress looks at me, and turns and walks away. Hmm, Ok!! Hostess comes and sits me at a table. One waitress walks by, doesn't acknowledge me. Ok, not my waitress. The waitress that turned and walked away sits down a couple, asks them what they would like to drink, and says I'll get you some water, walks right past me and says nothing. I've been here before and have had great service, but today, I felt invisible. I could also understand if it would have been busy, but it wasn't. Will I come back probably their food is good. What a fantastic spot! We visited in March. The world was opening up, it was a lovely spring say and a Saturday that we were just exploring. We headed towards the waterfront and found the newest hotel indigo. Tucked away inside was this gem of a restaurant. Bright and airy with lots of windows and a fantastic view. We had a burger with pork belly, it was delicious and flavorful, and I had a burger as well with avocado and egg. All the food was remarkable. But can we talk about this bloody Mary? Heaven help me. Ate here on a whim tonight. Everything was outstanding! My 3 year old granddaughter got the kids grilled cheese with fruit cup instead of fries. I got a cheeseburger w fries and Caesar Salad. The food was stunning to look at and even better to eat. The grilled cheese was on SD bread with lots of delicious cheese oozing out. The cup of fresh fruit was really tasty and my granddaughter was thrilled. My cheeseburger was cooked perfect, actually to medium as requested. The salad was amazing, smaller romaine pieces which I prefer and a delicious dressing along w cherry tomatoes and croutons and parm cheese. Our server was Cara and she was just fabulous, very on top of things and made our experience top notch. Unfortunately this meal was not worth the money or the calories. We didn't take many pictures so this review is only of the service, appetizer, and my main dish. I took a friend out of dinner for her birthday and she wanted to go here because of past experiences. She was as disappointed as I was, although we went pretty late so maybe the chef was just ready to go home. We ordered the Seafood and Artichoke dip, which came with a few slices of grilled naan. The dish looks pretty big but you can literally take a spoon and scrape the entire thing in one scoop...that's how shallow and small the dish actually is. Besides the size, the dish was bland and didn't really taste taste anywhere close to what they charge for it. I understand seafood is expensive but at least make it taste good! I ordered the Squash and Scallop Risotto which actually was pretty good - scallops cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the risotto was also seasoned well. The issue with this dish was that parts of the risotto was crunchy, so I'm guessing undercooked. I didn't want to send my dish back because it was already late. Other than being undercooked, it had potential to be a great dish. All in all, this was a disappointingly expensive meal and definitely not worth what we were charged. Service was good, which is why I can't give this review 1 star. If you're staying at the hotel, maybe try this out but if not, don't go out of your way to visit read more

My wife and I had an unfortunate lunch just now. First, the Hazy IPA my wife ordered was served in an unwashed glass. It tasted like vanilla, and had remnants of salt (?) on the rim, which we only realized after tasting it. Unacceptable. (Also , I don't think it was a Hazy.) When the waitress arrived at our table with our lunch orders we let her know about the unwashed glass. Saying absolutely nothing, she took it and walked away. We didn't see her again for a long time. She finally came back to pick up dishes and said "sorry about that beer." Unlike on a previous visit, the soup--tomato bisque--was awful. Came in to meet a friend for lunch on a Tuesday. I've been wanting to try this place, but always ended up choosing a different restaurant in the area. The restaurant was not busy and the bar area was closed off (quite unsightly with chairs on top of the tables). The dining area is bright with all the glass panels overlooking the patio and pier so that was nice. Our server was friendly and welcoming. We started off with the Dungeness Crab Roll which was a bit too creamy for me then ordered the Crispy Pork Belly with mango dijon mustard sauce. Okay, this was really good - crispy, tender and flavorful. I would order this again. Since we had a lot of catching up to do, I ordered the Italian Mille Foglie (mascarpone cream and espresso toffee) - flaky and not too sweet (definitely a winner). The entrance is welcoming, we were greeted and seated immediately. We asked for a window table and they were able to accommodate. Took about 10 minutes for waters, another 15-20 for a waitress to come by for drinks. We ended up ordering food at this time as well. Their food menu for breakfast & lunch was small, we both ordered the same - the crossandwhich & their basic Bloody Mary. Both were delicious! Served with potatoes which were good, the presentation is meh. Would love to come back and try other food. The food took longer than expected - probably about 30 minutes. We ended up ordering their mimosas as well at the end - for the price I wish it was a better selection (it was La Bella Prosecco for $32 a bottle). I love how this is right by the water. We went for breakfast on a nice sunny Sunday morning and saw lots of people out walking with their dogs. The restaurant itself is big open concept and lots of glass windows. I liked the coffee mugs and water glasses. Not sure if they always have two servers or if it was a training day, but we had to servers catering to us. I ordered the avocado toast with a mimosa, and my daughter got the silver dollar pancakes. We also ordered a side of bacon. Everything was delicious. I loved how they had a great selection of menu items. The avocado toast was amazing with the fried egg, plus all the arugula on top. The addition of radishes mixed into the greens, was a little weird. I asked for balsamic glaze to drizzle and that boosted my meal to a higher level. One year later I returned to this spot with a guest after kayaking on a Sunday evening and ordered the same thing, an Old Fashioned and the tuna poke appetizer. Not much has changed. The drink was just as poorly made and the tuna arrived with the same stale tri-colored corn chips as last time. The poke was slightly better but still not on par with even grocery-store poke. (Why? This dish should be so easy!) My guest also ordered the burger medium well and it arrived rare. We sent it back and they corrected it but it sure doesn't speak well to the ability of the kitchen. I had the fish tacos which were fine but cold by the time my guest's burger arrived after sending it back. Another distraction was the amount of garbage visible in the landscaping next to our table in the outdoor dining area. Gross food containers and paper waste were clearly visible from our table and would have been obvious to the waitstaff and management, too. All this made for a less than enjoyable dining experience. I ordered fish and chips(more chips than fish) was decent but expected more fish for the price. I ordered what the menu said real fruit lemonade but seemingly came from the fountain.
