The restaurant is located in a big lot so parking was very easy, especially on a weeknight. The space was also very large so seating was very easy. We selected to customize our own boil and chose a pound of mussels, a pound of crawfish, and a pound of shrimp with the head on. We also added some corn, sausage and garlic noodles to go on the side. We chose the house special sauce and elected for level 2 spice. The boil came out quickly and we were mostly happy with the spread. Although the sauce was not as expected. It was really thick and way too sweet without much balance to it. We really did not taste any of the cajun spices or anything. The seafood itself was also just okay. Not amazing but not bad either. Ok, so I'm from California and they have these everywhere. I have been looking for one since I got here 2 years again and now I have one 7 minutes away! The owners are also from California and I am so glad they came. The place feels like you hit the docks and is very sparse but welcoming. I mean, all we are gonna do is throw seafood juice everywhere so it's perfect. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They are here to accommodate and will make sure you get quickly introduced into how things work. They will even come from behind the counter and check in with you while you are waiting for the person in front to be helped. You should place call in orders via their website to keep it easier than confusingly trying to order over the phone or just go in your first time. I have only had the shrimp so far but I have been back twice. I like their house special sauce but will venture out next time. The potatoes are great and the corn in corn. Whatever you do don't seal the bags if you take em to go. It will overcook the seafood and you will blame them but they just lightly close them and double bag them for a reason! Plenty of tables adorn the restaurant, and the extensive list of different kinds of seafood are listed on a white board at the front of the warm dining space. I will say that if you don't like seafood, this might not float your boat. If you love seafood, then you'll be in Hog Heaven! So, my friend and I ogled the yummy menu, and decided to get some Jumbo Shrimp and some crawfish. The server was beyond incredible and oh so patient as we made our decision. We decided on some shrimp (and these babies were anything but small) and crawfish. We also got some bread. DaPegster loves her bread. Service was pretty fast, and there was so much food! Now, I am disabled with only one working hand, so I knew it would be a challenge to try to rip the clothes off those fully dressed lil crawfish and gargantuan shrimp, so our server sat down and helped me make the little guys naked. Of course, I had a supet fun time playing with my food, and there was nobody there to take a fork to my nuckles as punishment. PROS: This was our families first time coming in. First and foremost fusion is exciting in and of itself. This fusion was dissatisfying. The "house special" sauce was not delightful in any way. It was overly salted, too sweet, and they put a ridiculous amount of wet sauce that was clumpy in with our seafood bag. We ordered 2 lbs of the seafood boil with Snow crab, muscles and golf shrimp plus 2 lbs of clams. We also got a kids chicken strip and fries and an order of Cajun fries. The Cajun fries were expensive and essentially were shoe string fries with too much old bay sprinkled on them. This could be great but the final straw for me was the extremely over boiled crab, mushy corn and over cooked shrimp. It was mediocre and overpriced for what we expected vs. what we got. read more

We been to the original Cajun Crawfish and always enjoyed it until we realized it had been sold and is now the Blazing Crawfish. Came in at 1pm (that's when they open) for a late lunch. There was only one server and no hostess, but the server sat us immediately and handed us the menu. Prices are clearly posted on the large board so there are no surprises even if it's a known fact that seafood is pricey. We ordered two pounds of the Seafood Combo (2 lbs is the minimum). You choose three from - gulf shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams and snow crab legs, comes with one half potato, 2 corn on the cob (1/4 size) and your choice of sauce. We chose the snow crab, crawfish and mussels with garlic butter sauce. Same style service and presentation from the original - your super hot seafood in a plastic bag is brought to your table with a bowl for your shells. Be very careful opening the bag as all that steam escapes. We also ordered the Fried Catfish with garlic fries and the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Everything comes to your table very hot (not complaining). Of course, they provide you with a bib, shellfish cracker and gloves as it can get pretty messy at the table. Food was good and since there aren't many places that offer this type of experience, it will be our go-to place if we want to eat seafood and be messy at the same time. read more
