Cashier failed to give us one of our bags, didn't notice until we got home... around a 30 minute drive. Called back and spoke with multiple people including the (assistant manager. They refused to deliver the items to us and also refused to refund us without coming back in due to company policy. Was hoping for a sensible solution due the error on their part. Very poor customer service. Will try to get this resolved with corporate. I understand mistakes happen, but we do not plan to return if we cannot get this taken care of. I had a curbside pick up over two weeks ago, The order was for $140.00 I came home and realized , I had a whole bag of items that did not belong to me and half of my order was missing. On top of that , the items I did receive were covered in milk that spilled in one of the bags. I went back to the store and I brought back all the items that were not mine and asked if they had my items in the back by chance, they said none of my items were there. They offered to have me shop for the items and show them my receipt and they wouldn't charge me , I just left the store. I went home and requested a refund for the items I did not receive , which came out to $60.00. A few days passed and my refund was denied , I called the corporate number and spoke with Ray , Ray apologized and promised me that the 60.00 would refunded back to me, and I would even have a 10.00 credit on my account. Rya then called back moments and said they denied my refund again , because I didn't bring back the spilled milk. I threw out the damaged milk as it was leaking all over my kitchen. I explained that to him. I waited a few more days and called corporate again and spoke with Josh , he said the refund was still pending , I asked if there was any way to escalate it anybody else I could talk to and he told me there was literally nothing he could do. I checked the card which had the transaction on it , and realized they DOUBLE charged me for the transaction. for the 140.00 transaction - which I did not receive half my items they charged my card 280.00 I ended up having to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I am extremely disappointed with how poorly Jewel has handled this entire situation. Not only weas I not refunded for HALF the order i did not receive , but i was charged twice. I had home delivery from this Jewel and a couple of things went wrong. I spoke to Dan the Manager of this Jewel and he went out of his way to make it right. He not only listened to my complaint, but ended personally delivering the item himself. That is on and beyond to correct an error. I will highly recommend this Jewel/Osco not only for this reason, but the store itself is always clean and they never brush you off they find what you need and try and help. I generally like this store and its employees, but apparently no one can be bothered to answer the customer service extension beyond 11p. I was on hold/had to call multiple times FOR A HALF HOUR before an actual human answered. My simple question was met with "I believe," so I asked to speak with someone who actually knew the answer to my question, and then was hung up on. Do better, guys. read more

I prefer this Jewel to others! They have the best deli of any store! I shop in person & more frequently on line! Had a problem with substitutions but they resolved issue! I personally think this is the best jewel in the world the employees are so nice and caring bakery is unbelievable so fresh every time meat department is always fresh clean and they are very knowledgeable and they also teach you if you don't know how to cook a lobster tail or crab legs I just love everything about this place. The Deli staff made a very difficult time easier. (my adopted mother died on Mother's Day.) I ordered three Deli platters, one for the wake, two for the funeral They were LOVELY! I've never had a problem with this location within my 20 some years of shopping here. Parking is never an issue, even after 9 or 10 when they shut one door down. The place has definitely felt alot better when they remodeled the whole store and modernized the look. Food is expensive so I shop super frugal about anything. Okay, so they have since change the checkout lines and the express lines, which makes a lot better and easier to check out! Staff there always seems friendly. Store layout, though, is cramped. Terrible Jewel. Absolutely went on a down hill slide and hasn't stopped. Over ripe and too soft fruit and old produce is the norm at this location. At one point you could easily have purchased fresh fruit and they had an abundance to choose from. At this location you can also find a sad little buffet with such offerings as wilted lettuce, old veggies with zero crunch, bruised fruit and meat that's covered in a congealed mess of a variety of sauces and gravy. Yum! The customer service is non existent and you only get what passes for barely a welcome. The lines at this store are also a norm. Just s-l-o-w and under staffed if not indifferent. I really don't think they care at all. It's a shame because it wasn't always this way at this store. Save your time and energy and find a different location, or better yet, a better grocery store. There are more than a few to choose from in this area. I realize this was a harsh review, but completely warranted. read more

This is my go-to Jewel. The second closest one to my house, but the one I shop at the most. I know where everything is at in the store. The produce section is sometimes lacking, but I usually hit up a seperate store for my produce anyway. Shelves are always stocked. There are always workers around that can help or answer questions. They have a decent liquor department. Parking lot is well maintained and there are not carts all over the place. Overall, a decent place to shop. read more

Deli service is horrible. First , they don't pay attention to customers , they make you stand there while they all chat in a corner , they remove sale tags while your ordering meat so you have to pay full price , they make it very clear , the customer is a bother. I came here to buy a pepsi and was surprised when i saw the cheap 99 cents price. When i went home to drink it, it was flat!!!!! I checked the expiration date and it turns out that it expires in July. Who has time to check the expiration dates before they buy every product?? Every time I go, the lines are packed!!! read more

I shop this location frequently and was shocked when I saw the filthy entry rug draped over shopping carts in the entry area. Customer service said this is common practice. I love this Jewel location for a variety of reasons. The main one being the pharmacy. They have some really awesome pharmacists who always thoroughly explain all the medicine to you and how to take it, right down to what exactly the medicine does for the body. It's always nice to know exactly what the medicine does vs just gargling it down or giving it to your kids. They also make sure to fill your order very quickly, so my prescription is always done before I am even done shopping. The other thing I love about this Jewel is the bakery. Nice, friendly and talented staff. We have gotten lots of special occasion cakes here over the years (dirt cheap compared to local bakeries & none one could tell it was a jewel cake since we did custom designs.) When my sister one year assumed I would get my mom a cake and I assumed she would get her a cake...we were both panicking about not having a cake. The staff here helped us pick out a fresh cake and wrote Happy Birthday Mom on it for us last minute, totally save our behinds! read more

Honestly one of the worst Jewels. How can you possibly only have 2 people working in the deli department on a Sunday afternoon, with over 15 people waiting to get their deli meats for the week ahead. This is a regular occurrence, other times I have been there and they have the staff, but 5 people are busy prepping while only 2 serve the constant wait of at least 15 customers. I cringe every time I stop by my parents and have to make a stop into this jewel. read more

I wait 10 min in a line to purchase my product and when I finally get to pay that's when the cashier tells me something isn't working. Don't go to this Jewel! They have some kind of a crazy system that will NOT allow you to get your cart of groceries to your car! The minute you walk out the door, the cart is booted with some type of metal brace that won't allow the cart to move. The store 'claims' there are signs in the parking lot, but I didn't see any and the cashier did not warn me about the cart issue or ask if I needed a carry out. There was no one in the parking lot to help and I saw others struggling the same way I was. I had to drag my cart with both hands four car lengths to get to my car and then it wouldn't roll to let me get it to a cart corral when I was done. I have made several complaints lately. First, the customer service refuses to do the Rachel Ray promotion. She sat there and told my husband that it is not her job to do it. The head manager told me it is her job. The lady at self checkout, Lenore, is rude. She rolled her eyes at a man who was a little slower when he took out his cash because his other hand was in a brace.Lenore had the nerve to snap her fingers at him to hurry up. She told me that ten items was too many for self checkout. The person behind me had about 30 bottles of booze and the person in front of me had a lot. I didn't care but why she yelled at me and demanded for me to get out of line is beyond my understanding. She didn't realize that she was complaining about me to my husband who was about ten feet away from me. She checked him out for the Rachel Ray products and complained about it, too. After I left I was told by several people that she ran to several customers (Who had large orders in self-checkout..which I don't care and there's no sign stating a limit of items) and giggled in their ears while pointing at me. I complained to the co-manager, Marvin. All he gave a hoot about was that I got all of my groceries. He didn't address the problem really. We called and got the head manager on the phone and made a complaint. read more
