Thank You Thursday Review…read more Evergreen Park Farmers Market is one of my favorite places.  Open Thursdays from 7 am to 1 pm -  May thru October, I sure miss them from November thru April! My favorite vendor is Dotson Farm, where I purchase herbs and flowers for my garden in May/June. A variety of vegetables are enjoyed throughout the season. The plants/veggies are healthy and the prices are reasonable.  Also,  among our favorite stops are the Amish vendor and the coffee vendor.  For more info on the farmers market,  please see my previous reviews.  Thank you,  Evergreen Park Farmers Market.   Looking for to visiting again next year!

Aldi has a lot of items for the home also. Some of the nicer items fly off the shelves. After shopping for the grocery items I came in the store for, I enjoy exploring the isles. Found a George Forman grill years ago that still works good. Found a Columbia throw blanket that the grand-babies love. A couple of my family members have found nice sturdy lawn chairs. My favorite Aldis find is the crab dip. I have recommended it to others who have used it for entertaining. I also love the surprises I find.

The order was ready at the said time, the presentation looks beautiful, and it's what we had ordered. My only minor concern was that I didn't know to meet up with the delivery person, her husband, at an alternative location right around the corner from their address on Yelp and Google. However, we did figure it out in a matter of minutes, and I'm happy with it. I haven't eaten the treats yet, but I will update this review when I do. I took everything apart to grab a few pictures, and it smelled really fresh and chocolatey. I am excited to go ham later on tonight. It felt nice supporting a small local business that's also Black owned. Updating my review: the treats were delicious, and I loved that the breakable heart had Ghirardelli chocolates and Lindt truffles inside -- my favorites. The chocolate covered strawberries were generously coated with delicious chocolate, sprinkles and edible glitter. Southtown Health Foods has a pretty okay variety. Maybe is more expensive than it should be but the service is usually better than expected. They're known for the juice bar as well as produce and supplements. Coming here on a weekend isn't recommended because it's usually crazy. It's got pretty limited hours because it closes early. The only bad thing about it other than the high prices. Even so there were a few good finds. It's about $10 for a cup of the fresh juice which they make on site. Certainly it's excellent. The prices are just too much at times. You can find a few okay prices on vitamins. It's about $12 for certain supplements. There's also a pretty great selection of vegan items like pies and other things. Has a lot of things worth looking around for here. It's closed Sundays. There's lots of foods and supplements for vegans and vegetarians.
