I have logged several hours between yesterday and today waiting to get my medication, each time I was either disconnected or had waited too long and had to hang up to tend to other things in my life... When you call they initially connect you to a call center with a "pharmacy tech" to appease you I suppose, then you will be sent to the 7th circle of Muzak call hold for up to half an hour where you will then be disconnected. Has happened sooner in the multiple times I've called in the past couple days in the vain attempt to get my prescription refilled (again, it's tele-health so they don't get auto-filled, I have to call and go through this absolute nonsense) This is a years long pattern with no indication of changing, I will definitely be switching pharmacies. This particular day I went to get a passport photo. The cashier who assisted me first looked to see what kind of shirt I had on. I had a sweatshirt with writing on it so that wasn't going to work. So I told her I'd change shirts and come back. When I came back she immediately called someone to come take the picture. They lady that took the picture was very nice. The camera wasn't charged so she said she hoped we could get a few taken before it died. Luckily we got 2 good ones before it shut off. It took a few minutes to process so I browsed the Christmas clearance and grabbed some vitamins while I waited. When it was ready she found me and let me know. When I went to check out my picture was there waiting. Upon checking out, there was an issue with the card sliding out of the chip reader. The cashier had to hold it while I put in my pin and waited for the transaction to complete. For some reason the debit transaction kept taking forever and we learned debit was down so we had to had to then do it as a credit for it to work. The cashier was so patient and helpful through the whole process. The great customer service I always receive is why I prefer this place and keep coming back.

For me, I always visit either this CVS in Oak Park or the Walmart in Forest Park because both are on my route. Out of the two, I usually choose this location when I do not have the patience to deal with the congestion of customers at Walmart, whether it be at the checkout line or just entering the parking lot itself. I never have to deal with that when visiting this CVS, so it tends to be my priority when in need of anything to assist with sleep or boost nutritional drinks. And when checking out, I am always satisfied with the service provided by the team members; they are always informative of offers listed on the receipt that will allow me to save money during future visits. Her LaGrange Park doctor recommended two brands to us mid-March, and I worried we'd be challenged to find someone who was open and stocked them.
