She was helpful, listened to my concerns, gave wonderful suggestions, and helped me decide on a ring. Once I selected a ring, I asked them to do some customizing on it to reflect a particular interest my wife and I shared. They were so accomodating and excited to be able to work on my request! Once it was done, my wife's ring was truly a one-of-a-kind ring, which she absolutely adores! When I was leaving, I forgot to get my ring back and returned to fetch it the following day. As soon as the ring was handed to me I could tell that it looked and felt lighter in weight and thickness. Having my ring cleaned did not mean I was granting permission to have my gold shaved to half the THICKNESS AND WEIGHT. I know this because I had weighed it previously, and there was a significant void even on the under carriage. Very disturbing and alarming. I recently became engaged (yay me!!) And my wonderful boyfriend unfortunately did not purchase the correct size. We were looking for a jeweler that we could trust to do quality work and came across jewelers touch. Originally where my boyfriend purchased my ring said they would do free sizing but failed to inform is it would take 4 to 6 wks. This made me so sad. I would have only had my ring two days and then had to send it out for that long...ugh. We arrived at jewelers touch and spoke with Linda she let us know our turn around time of about 4 to 7 days we let her know how that was better than what we originally expected. I told her our story and that we were supposed to meet with friends to show off my ring and talk about how the proposal went, she excused herself and walked to the back then returned to tell us she would be able to shave down our return time so that we could meet with our friends as planned. I couldn't believe it I was so excited. Linda was so patient and helpful she also showed me some wedding bands while we were there to pair with my engagement ring. I'm not one to write reviews. But I can't on good conscience let my amazing experience with jeweler's touch go untold. In August of this year I began my engagement ring search after finally landing my dream career. I had been with my girlfriend for almost six years and I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to get her. I had been looking online hoping to save a little money, but I was unable to find what I was looking for. I had had some bad experiences at other local jewelry stores namely Jewelry Exchange. I don't know exactly how to explain the service at the other places other than to say I got the sense that unless they saw our interaction leading to a sale that day they didn't have time for me. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I did not go into Jeweler's Touch with high expectations. I was honestly just hoping they would have my ring and I could get out of there with not much interaction. I walked in and was immediately greeted even though everyone was busy helping customers. It isn't a huge place there were at least six employees. I took that as a first good sign. I also appreciated the quick opportunity to look at their selection by myself. A minute or two later Tony greeted my friend and I with a genuine enthusiasm. After finding out what I was there for he didn't start putting out samples with high price tags. He engaged with me and asked me all about my girlfriend and myself. I initiated the talk about what I was after. He located something that was almost exactly what I was after in little time at all. It unfortunately was made for a round cut. One of the things I knew I wanted was cushion cut. He said that they could probably have it custom made to fit a cushion cut diamond. I was very happy about this because it was something I couldn't get online. Unfortunately, there wasn't many cushion cut stones in stock. But I was actually happy about that. Tony ordered three of them in my color/cut/clarity/carat range instead of trying to get me to take one of the options in stock. When I went back to look at the diamonds I was pleasantly surprised at the prices. I knew general prices for diamonds because I had done my research. The prices on all of the stones were competitive but on the largest of the three the price was great. I was completely suprised happy with the price and the stone was gorgeous and I think GIA actually rated it incorrectly (better for me!). So much so that I didn't even think to ask for any money off it or the ring. No problem, Tony gave me about 15% off. I almost felt bad about this because I am the type of person that is happy to pay more for good service. When you are spending over 5k 15% is a ton of money. I'll save you the proposal story since it has little to do with the review but needless to say she was happy, actually ecstatic. My fiance loves the ring and that is all I wanted at the end of the day. However, she gets compliments on her ring everyday. I don't mean the way normal people say everyday I mean every single day she gets compliments on her ring. Almost to the point of annoying her. The awesome thing about that is... Every time she gets a compliment she thinks about me. I know this review should be over but I need to go on. Because of the great service previously, I took my fiance to Jeweler's Touch to get our wedding rings. This was such an easy process. I knew I wanted a ceramic ring and quickly found a flat black faceted black ring that was perfect. Turns out they have a matching band for my fiance's ring so she was super happy about that too. Just picked them up a couple of days ago and we go to make the final payment, and bam our 1250 dollar purchase turned into about 850 dollars. Again, without me even thinking about bringing it up, the rings were heavily discount. My ring by about 33% and my fiance's by nearly 25%. This one I felt bad about. Between that and mainly the good service I had to write something about them. Guys if you are shopping for engagement ring, go talk to Tony, tell him you read a review online that said he would be great. I guarantee you if you give him just a few of the details I included he will know who I am. Because from the get go I wasn't just another sucker with money walking into a jewelry store. I was a customer (now a customer for life) and Jeweler's Touch is one of the few places around that still cares about their customers. PS. This is a family run business that has been around for over 20 years. Diana and the staff have been so helpful and they were all amazing. My fiancée finally found the ring setting that she loved. Diana made us feel really comfortable since we brought our own diamond stone to get it fit onto the ring. She made sure we saw the stone being brought into the jeweler workstation. You also get to see the jeweler work on your ring right in front of you. This really put us at ease. The craftsmanship from the jewelers were excellent. They all have over 15 years of experience. Jeweler's Touch was amazing! I honestly cannot gush enough about the fantastic experience my fiancé and I had while having our wedding rings made. We walked in with a vague (at best) idea of what we wanted, and threw a bunch of contradictory terms and phrases at Jason in an attempt to describe our preferred aesthetics. To his credit, Jason never once told us that we weren't making any sense, and managed to sift through our word soup and pick out various elements of design that would make sense in a ring. Over the next few weeks, each time we would meet with Jason, he would have various designs for us to pick through and walked us through the process that would occur with each design. Eventually settling on one, the process from a simple sketch to a wax model to an actual ring was lightening fast. We received frequent updates about the ring's progress, with Jason informing us which staff member was currently working on it. The day finally came when the ring was ready and it was so beautiful and so unlike anything I had ever seen before that I just stared, slack-jawed, unable to say anything of substance. Seriously. Look no further. This place was amazing and we had the most amazing service by Diana and her team. I shopped for a month and a half for my perfect engagement ring setting (already had my stone) and went to about 15 locations. Nothing really caught my eye nor was I in love with any particular ring, until I saw one at Jewelers Touch designed by Amavida (Gabriel & Co.). It was gorgeous and exquisitely detailed, which is what sold me. Most places sell very simple rings and they all look very similar and like they were made at the same factory, but the few places that carry such detailed rings that are handcrafted, like mine was, charge a lot for them. But the prices here are very very decent. Not only that, the place is family-owned and everyone there is super nice. You can tell they all love their work environment and everyone there is happy. They are also very knowledgeable. The person who has worked there the shortest length of time has worked there for 12 years! Meaning some of them have been there for over 20! Also, they do all the fitting and setting in-house, which means they do not ship your ring or stone elsewhere to get this done. This is very important as things may got lost during shipping or even worse, your stone may get switched!! Either intentionally or by accident. That would be horrible! But this place does everything right there on the spot and you can watch them from a glass window from beginning to end! It gives you piece of mind and it's actually kind of interesting to watch. They also guarantee the stones you buy from there for life, 2 years free ring fitting, and I think they also clean your jewelry for life. (I believe all this is true but forgive me if I'm wrong.) My husband and I have had a wonderful experience with Jeweler's Touch. We live in the Bay Area but whenever we visit my parents down south, we visit so we can get our rings cleaned and browse their wares (and the occasional repair, sadly). We bought both of my husband's wedding rings from them, and the only downside is that the sales rep thought that because the weather was warm, my husband's fingers were swollen and so he would need a smaller ring size. My best friend had the same experience. Both of them ended up with rings 1/2-1 full size smaller than they should have ordered. Its very warm and cozy inside and the staff was welcoming.We had another appointment elsewhere later in in the day but decided to stroll in just for a peek. The wife needed to get some work done on her ring and I had to replace the battery on my Movado watch. I did a quick Yelp search for jewelry repair and found Jeweler's Touch. I noticed that it had a 20% off check in deal so that definitely piqued my interest along with it's current 5 star rating. My wife and I showed up and were immediately helped out by a young lady named Faye. She looked at the ring and offered some suggestions. This is usually when the skeptic in me comes out but for some reason I trusted Faye and her opinions on my wife's ring. I didn't feel like I was being bent over like I usually do when especially when I go to places like the mechanic. Faye also told me that the battery replacement for my watch would take 5 mins and be only 9 bucks (Movado wanted to charge me $40) so I jumped at that price! I mentioned the 20% off Yelp check in deal and she was as excited to take the 20% off as I was for getting it. She mentioned that she was a big fan of Yelp which explained her excitement. Just got engaged last week, but my ring was too big. Stephanie was amazing at explaining the different options we had, since the band of my ring is a rope design. I was afraid it wouldn't be possible to keep the same design on the bottom or that it would take too long. She was able to have them keep the design and do it while we waited!!!
