The watch guy was able to explain how to set the time on one of the watches, very honest when he said the watches I had taken for new capacitors were complicated. I spent about 20 minutes figuring out how to set the time on the most recent one I picked up. They're pretty fast too, for the battery replacements, the four I was able to get replaced in an hour for a cool $80. For the other two I was originally told 2 weeks since they needed to order the parts, got the first one back in a week and the second in 8 days. Those ran me a cool $200 total for both. The girls up front are nice and pretty funny. They were watching the World Cup and one of them sounded very passionate about soccer. She also recommended a nice watch brand which I'll probably be on the lookout for. I'll definitely come back for any maintenance I need for my watches.

I knew of Nick's since I am in this shopping center frequently, so we stopped by. The front door is always locked, and you press the doorbell to be buzzed in. Nick was very friendly, and was more than happy to measure her wrist. When we told him what it was for, he gave us quite the education about purchasing online medical bracelets, and that many of them use hollow gold. When we showed him the one we were looking at, he said there's no way its solid gold at that price. Hollow bracelets scratch and dent more easily, and once dented can break. You don't want to skimp on something that might save your life someday. Nick showed us a big catalog of medical bracelets with various metals and styles. She found a solid gold one that one she really liked, so I put down a deposit and had it ordered. A little over a week later, it came in and we went to pick it up. He included the engraving for free and gave me about a 15% discount off the retail price. I'm assuming I probably could have gotten a bigger discount if I negotiated, but I felt he earned it given how he saved us from originally making a poor decision. If she decides it is a little too loose on her wrist, he said to just come back and he will remove as many links as needed for free. It looks and feels like high quality piece of jewelry, and it was only a few hundred dollars more than the one we were going to originally purchase online. It is always nice to make a purchase in person were you can ask questions and get a feel for the business. Nick's gets flying colors.
