I had such a great experience at Jewelry Fixx. From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly kind, honest, and easy to work with. The white sapphire in my wedding band had fallen out. Thankfully I found it, but the prongs needed to be replaced. They repaired everything on-site (which I really appreciated--they don't send your jewelry out), and the turnaround was fast, efficient, and done with so much care. They did an exceptional job. My ring looks perfect again. On top of that, they were by far the most reasonably priced option I found, which made the whole experience even better. They also recommended bringing my ring in every six months to check the prongs and offered free cleanings, which shows how much they genuinely care about their customers and their jewelry long-term. I'm feeling very sad about leaving this review. As the people who work here are very kind, but the quality of work is extremely disappointing. I brought in a few pieces 4 months ago. One was a jade ring that had a broken silver prong. They said they could fix it no problem. I also had a few other rings that needed the band reshaped as the bands had bent a little over the years. While I was waiting, they offered to clean and shape my wedding band, which was very kind, completely for free! While I was waiting, they said they were so sorry but when they went to reshape it, one of the Moissanites popped out and they would need to keep it with them to fix and they would do it for free and they were so sorry . Accidents happen, and I know that my wedding band is very thin and dainty so I wasn't worried. When I went to pick it up, I said thank you and walked to my car. Once I sat down, I realized the shape of my wedding band was completely different and did not sit with my wedding ring the same anymore. (Photo attached) I walked back in to tell them, they apologized again and said they would fix it. They even thanked me for giving them a second chance instead of going straight to yelp to leave a bad review. So I had to leave my wedding ring and my band with them for another week. When I picked it up, it looked beautiful and they had replaced a few of the Moissanite chips that fell out. unfortunately, within two weeks, the gems started falling out again. This was back in May. It is now September, and I am missing three total now. (Photos attached) I was still chalking it up to the original design being dainty, but then yesterday the original reason I went in, the jade ring prong..... the Jade gem fully came out of it setting. It's only four months after being fixed. Why are all of these pieces falling out? I'm very frustrated. Went in for a watch battery replacement. Elder gentleman waiting for his watch battery before me. Got his watch back and asked how to set the current time. Gentleman replacing said "sorry didn't have a chance to set the time" ??? Got my watch back with the new battery 5 minutes later. Not set on the current time. I stood there before I paid $15 and set the current time on my watch. $15 does not include setting the current time. Will not be going back and will not recommend. read more

I brought in my wife's wedding ring because one of the setting prongs was damaged and the stone had fallen out. By the grace of God, we found the diamond underneath her chair, so I as able to bring both the ring and the diamond to Edmond to get an estimate. He gave me a very reasonable price and I brought in the ring to get repaired. Edmond did the work quickly and we ended up replacing the four-prong setting with a six-prong setting. The ring was cleaned and an additional missing stone was replaced. I was floored when I picked it up, it looked spectacular, better than even brand new. Edmond even went so far as to give me a small jeweler's box with an LED light that made the presentation beautiful. It was just in time for Valentine's day and my wife loved getting her ring back. I purchased a pink diamond from an out-of-state jeweler to replace the stone in my wedding ring, and it seemed to be too large for my ring's setting. I was certain Jewelry Fixx would need to make a new setting for me. At first, the Jewelry Fixx jeweler didn't think he'd be able to use my original setting but then let me know he could make it work - and for only $250! We have been using Jewelry Fixx for years, mostly for watch batteries, although they did an excellent job on restoring my grandfather's pocket watch. One of my watches stopped running, and my wife brought it in yesterday to PURCHASE a new watch battery. The watch was opened up, and she was told that the battery was still under warranty (2 years, they mark the date of purchase on the battery), and they replaced it for free. They also replaced the case seal for no charge. You know what...that's they way businesses should operate.
