It was promised to be ready in 4 hours. Conveniently located in the Valencia Mall, passing the time was very easy. We went to have lunch and did some shopping. We returned just under 4 hours and her necklace was ready. The clasp was perfect, like it was part of the original necklace. The diamonds and chain sparkled better than new. The repair has a 3 month warranty. The necklace is old and very sentimental to our daughter. We're grateful to Fast-Fix for taking great care of it.

I brought two designer necklaces in for repair involving three different solder points. I have before-and-after photo references and receipts showing the original lengths. When I asked questions about how my necklaces could have grown inches during repair, the staff became defensive and rude. I was even called a "psycho" for questioning the length difference and told I was harassing them for mentioning I would post online. They also refused to connect me with the jeweler who worked on the necklaces to explain what was done. Even with a police officer present as a neutral witness, they refused to answer basic questions about the repair or explain how the chains became longer. I do not recommend this business due to poor service, lack of transparency, and extremely unprofessional behavior.

There's a small parking lot in the front and a much larger parking lot in the back that I would recommend. I came in on a weekday afternoon and was immediately able to be seen. Both watches I had required battery changes and resizing for my wrist. Service was very fast and he was able to first disassemble both watches to confirm that their internal pieces were working (as they were both older) prior to charging me for any battery swaps and alterations which felt both very honest and like great service. He resized both watches very quickly and when one piece on the fashion watch I brought accidentally broke off, he immediately fixed it up for me. This is why you can't trust reviews. My grandfather had a Sessions mantle clock that he probably…read morehad since the 1930s. He passed away in 1970. Flash forward to Thanksgiving 2024. My cousin had given this clock to my sister, and my sister knowing my interest in genealogy, gave the clock to me. It wasn't running right (some movement, but it would stop, also it chimed endlessly. I took it to a local jewelry store, where they had it for about six months before telling me they could not repair it. I realized I needed a special kind of clock repairman, so I did an internet search and found Hopkins Jewelers, in Burbank. This was early May, 2025. They had excellent reviews. I liked the shop. Very old school. Clocks lining the walls. Clocks to be repaired all over the floor. Sure, chaotic but definitely looked like a shop that could handle a nearly century old mantle clock. The owner said give him three months. At three months I called and he said he had looked at it but still trouble shooting. Here's the thing, having the clock, my grandfather's clock, was the important thing. Having it work like "clockwork" would be a bonus but not if I risked this place going out of business. So after another three months I decided to go in and if he hadn't fixed it I would thank him for his time, pay him for whatever analysis he had done, and retrieve my clock. Well bottom line, he basically did not want to return it to me. He didn't actually refuse but he kept tinkering with it for probably two hours, telling me it was maybe this thing wrong, or that thing wrong, but to leave it with him and he would continue working it. I agreed to this (big mistake). So after 11 months of him holding my clock I went back to the shop where he tells me it's fixed. We had put in an original stipulation that he would do a maximum of $500 work into it, but he plugged it in, showed me the second hand was keeping time, charged me the $500 and away I went. I plugged it in at home and for the next ~2 hours it worked, then the hands stopped moving (except the second hand, figures). I called him up and basically he is asking all these questions, so I responded why didn't he check it before telling me it was fixed and charging me $500. Basically he wants me to return the clock and let him work on it again. I am not going to do that, I have my clock back and I am going to write this review so that you don't get ripped off like I did.
