The owner, Andy, and his wife were lovely. Andy, retired, now passionately pursues his second love photography (His first love is his wife!). Being on vacation, we leaned toward his photos in and around Seattle, but he has pictures from around the world. They can be ordered in a variety of styles (photo paper, canvas, metal) and sizes. This time we chose to walk around the "town" and have a bite to eat. This is a cute one block area of shops, galleries and restaurants. We stopped in The Island Gallery ... they carried a bit of everything furniture, paintings, sculptures, clothing, etc. They were setting up for a "locals" event a few days after our visit. Nice shop, a little pricey, but then again, Bainbridge WA is a pricey island. Spent a nice afternoon strolling a place we've never been.

Carrie's private class was very informative and interesting! She is enuthastic to teach in-depth…read morepainting techniques; how to properly use materials; how to generate painting ideas and how to correctly hang and display your artwork. Carrie is a warm and caring art instructor who truly cares about the success of her students. She really wants her students to excel by first giving a detailed lesson on how to create a master pieces from start to finish before painting. Also, she is willing to jump in and help with any challenges that arise during the painting process. She is very approachable if any questions come up during the lesson or painting portion. Lastly, she is able to help you properly hang your work. I highly recommend Carrie's lessons! She is at the top of her craft; willing to meet anyone at their artistic ability level; and truly wants her students to walk out the door feeling proud of their work.

The Fishbowl is an amazing space for co creating with other artist and participating in workshops,…read morefigure drawing, open mic nights, community activities, and makers markets! It allows for local artists to grow and collaborate with one another. The Fishbowl is also the finding group for the Uptown artwalk. The space has been so welcoming and I love coming here to meet with other artists! I've made some great friends! I highly recommend checking out the space wether your looking for a studio or just looking to hang out with other artists!
