The floors were in really rough shape. Some had been covered with glue. Some had sticky backing from parquet tiles. There were very poor repairs made in the past with wood that didn't match the size of the original. There were thousands of nail and staple holes. We were really skeptical they could be brought back. Scott was an amazing guide through the process and possessed great confidence about what could be done. He was able to schedule the work pretty quickly. The team he sent, Al and Luis, did a fantastic job bringing these floors back to life. And the cost was reasonable for what we got.

Once we connected, we were upfront about our budget, but she repeatedly steered us toward higher priced options and was not transparent about individual product costs. She encouraged us to apply for store credit through Wells Fargo, and I was approved for significantly more than the cost of the flooring we were considering (probably a red flag warning that they will attempt to take you for more than you want to spend). Later that week, she came to our home for a site assessment. While friendly during the visit, she remained vague about installation costs. As she left, she promised to email a detailed quote within a day or two. After a full week with no word, I had to follow up. She responded several hours later with an estimate. The product pricing stayed within what we discussed, but the labor portion was estimated, but listed as "variable," with no fixed amount or not-to-exceed" number. Additionally, she couldn't even guarantee the final cost or confirm they could complete the job. As a contractor myself (in IT), I'm accustomed to providing customers with clear, capped pricing and a promise we will complete the work before they commit, especially on installation work. Its not as if I was hiding anything from her. She had full access to the home for her assessment. If she lacked expertise to properly evaluate the job, they should have sent a more qualified person. This lack of clarity made it impossible to move forward with confidence. After sending the quote, she never followed up and I haven't spoken to her since. Overall, Francine came across as inattentive, inexperienced and unreliable. We ended up purchasing our flooring elsewhere, and based on this experience, I would recommend doing the same.

Juan was patient in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. We inspected the color together, selected keepers and losers from the varied boards, decided which areas and rooms to choose our favorite boards for.. Juan did much behind the scenes such as meticulous moisture testing, moisture barrier placement to make sure our product would look good long term, not just right after install. He also gracefully handled many unexpected challenges such as manufacturer defects which required a large delayed re-shipment. He stepped up to help us over the hurdle, taking delivery into his own hands to take some time off the schedule. He even helped calm a neighbor who had been upset about unrelated aspects of our general construction project. Juan and his whole crew couldn't be nicer guys, and they are all true professionals that inspire confidence easily. I would definitely hire Navarro Flooring again.

Good people and very accommodating. 2) They came back with the sanders after applying first coats of finish and re-sanded. They were not happy with how some of the old ripples did not come out completely and it showed when the finish was applied. They could have said "sorry, best we can do" but they wanted it done right. They did this at no extra cost. They offered to help move some furniture for us given the delay between coming back to sand. The best way to know if you have a good company is see how they act when there is a problem. Stokes not only did the right thing, they did so gladly and wanted to be sure their name was associated with a good looking floor. Impressive. I recommend them to anyone.

Brad worked with us to pick the finish and did an amazing job. The floor is beautiful and the patched areas match so perfectly there's no way to tell it's been patched. Brad suggested we extend the refinishing to the kitchen area but we were planning to replace the hardwood there with tile. We should have listened to Brad. We loved how the floors turned out so much that we called him back to do the kitchen. Kyle is incredibly…read morehelpful and patient, and while they don't have a huge stock like a big corporate owned store might, there is a wide variety of materials and we managed to find two wool carpets that are working very well for us, and we paid very fair prices. We were referred here by another local carpet and flooring store because we were needing some rugs asap and wanted a more affordable option. These are remnants, so you don't always find the exact size you need, but we've been very happy with the quality of the wool carpets we did find. We are using them as area rugs, not installed, so we got a few of them bound and one of them wasn't bound as "perfectly" as we'd have liked, with slight irregularities around the edge in some parts, but Kyle said he would absolutely have them redone to make sure they're perfect and we didn't take him up on the offer due to needing the carpets now and it's not a huge deal for us, but the second carpet we got bound came back perfectly bound. That was our only "issue" but we have still been back since and will continue to trust Kyle and his products. A great local family owned business worthy of our support.
