I took time off work to be home for the appointment, only to get a call about fifteen minutes after the scheduled time saying they needed to cancel. No real explanation, just a last-minute cancellation after I had already rearranged my morning. I immediately requested a refund of the assessment fee, but it still took a full week before I finally got my money back. Between the cancellation, the lack of professionalism, and the delay in refunding my payment, this company showed me they can't be counted on. I'd suggest finding a plumber who values their customers' time.

She never explained that I needed to pay immediately to make my 9am appointment. If that was the case I would have done so as I was in desperate urgency needing a plumber. I was very disappointed at what had happened. I requested for my refund of $95.00 fee , she said it will be refunded back. It had been 7 days now and I have not seen a credit back to my credit card. In this day and age no one should be checking and calling the business for a refund for a service that never happened and that was canceled. She promised I would be fully refunded. Still waiting..... After calling everyone I could think of, including the board of water supply, with no one providing any help, I typed in "plumbers" into Yelp and started cold calling down the list. First Class Plumbing was the third company listed but the first one that seemed to care. I was warned that I was calling after hours so I'd have an emergency fee if I wanted service now... I joked "fine - this is an emergency" and was told I'd get a call back as soon as they could get ahold of one of their plumbers. I went back to trying to heave buckets of water into a nearby sink and received a call back 15 minutes later. The plumber was so calm, and after hearing that I was still dealing with gushing water, explained to me how to stop the water flow. He asked me to send him pictures of the burst pipe and the faucet and got off the phone to price everything out including replacing the pipes and faucet. After doing all that work he told me what the cost would be and then said it was no worries if given the price I didn't want to continue on - or at least wait until it wasn't an emergency (an extra $150 charge). I said I definitely wanted the service and he came right out and fixed the burst pipe. I would already have been raving about this place for their competent service if it had been a normal scheduled appointment. But the fact that this company and the plumber were there for me when no one else was, and went above and beyond walk me through how to stop the problems and extremely quickly look into part costs for me before I ever even agreed to the service has made me a loyal customer forever!

Not many people work that fast, or work on a Sunday for that matter but CJ arrived promptly the next morning at the agreed upon time, and agreed that it was our circulator pump that needed to be changed. He noticed that we had a hard water issue and it was something we were aware of and dealing with for a long time but had no solution. CJ was able to suggest a cost effective electronic solution that would provide relief. Normally when we take on projects I like to get multiple quotes to compare and make the best decision possible, something about how honest CJ was made us decide to use him. We scheduled the repair for later in the week and were happy we had this figured out. In the few days before the scheduled repair a few plumbers reached back out to me via Yelp and quoted me prices that were much higher than CJ , using cheaper parts as well. We originally had a leaky shower faucet (we have a two knob handle thing and did not want to tear into our wall to fix it). When CJ arrived he checked out the main water valve and pressure. My feeling was that CJ was honest and good, so I also decided to tell him about an additional job- a toilet that was both running and stopping up. (It wasn't on my dire need list, as I'd been used to workarounds for years... but it was also an inefficient & irksome problem) He let us know the options between fixing the existing or getting a new one with a more powerful flush. I chose to get a new toilet installed, because his price felt reasonable and our house is over 50 years old.. so it's "time" for change. The installation took him a little longer than expected as the original installation age and technique, offered inherent challenges. Incidentally, I had a bidet attachment on it and told I'd install it myself (as it wasn't something factored into his quote) CJ fixed the leaky faucet and installed the new toilet, threw in complimentary parts to improve the current condition of its surroundings and efficient operation (vs what we originally had) AND reattached my bidet attachment! I have never seen that type of toilet flush before and I'm very pleased with the overall service I got CJ has a friendly local but professional demeanor, is courteous and knows his stuff and plumbing codes. 1- We liked that CJ offered a two year warranty on his work. Immediate peace of mind. 2- We also appreciated that his invoices let you know what work he's done, so you can understand your repair (and he documents 'after' photographs). I like it cause I can remember what was fixed and what I paid for . 3- what impressed me overall was his courtesy and extra care for exceptional customer service. I couldn't be home before he left and while he could've left information with my family, he texted me what he fixed and added a short video clip on how it works as well, so there was no mystery in what I got installed, how it worked, what was changed and validated it working on video.
