My bumper / rebar was damaged in an accident and I took my car to JH per my insurance agent's recommendation. The repair turnaround time was quick (a few days faster than what they had originally estimated). The employees (I worked with Jim) were all very kind, helpful, and extremely patient. Also they didn't do that weird thing that many guys do at body shops where they speak to you condescendingly if you're a female, which I really appreciated. They thoroughly answered all of my questions about both my car and some insurance technicalities. When I got my car back, the bumper was nice and fresh and they even cleaned out the inside and buffed out all of the scratches I had that were unrelated to the accident! Felt like I was getting a new car. Could not be happier with the repair. A few other things to mention: family-owned, been around for a really long time (so you know they've got credibility), speak both fluent English and Korean. They also share a parking lot with a Hertz so if you need a rental while your car is being fixed it's a perfect kill-two-birds-with-one-stone type of situation. This was probably the best experience I have ever had with any automobile related shop. I took my vehicle in to get the bumper replaced on my BMW. Once these guys gave me an estimate, they ordered the parts and we scheduled an appointment to have the work done a couple weeks later. I brought my vehicle in, they replaced the bumper, as well as some other core parts, slapped new paint on, and I had it a few days later. The work that was completed looked exquisite and the newly painted bumper matched the rest of the car perfectly. I worked with both Jim and Jonathan, both exceeded my expectations when it came to service you can tell they care about their work AND their customers. If anyone asks me if I know of a good auto body shop, you can bet that JH Auto Body will be what comes out of my mouth. They are very accommodating, considerate, and they put their customers first. The first time I took my car here I received good service. This time around they were just awful, after weeks of no communication I called and they told me "the war" is the reason why your parts aren't coming. We know there's a war going on, you still have to keep communication with your customers not just collect checks. They scammed me and my insurance. They claimed that my insurance approved faulty parts just for Honda to send me mail affirming they sent them the original parts. They also played with my alternator, when I brought my car in I had zero issues with it. They just needed to fix a mirror and paint job across the left side of my car. Now my back window has a tiny crack due to a loose part, there's paint inside my car, my side mirrors aren't the same depth and my alternator has issues. They belittle women, they treat some of their employees like shit, and to make matters worse, they guise themselves as the good guys. BE WARNED they will take advantage of women and belittle you. Go anywhere else, its better than this scam shop! read more

A year ago my car was hit while parked by an imbecile of a driver who took off. It left my mirror broken, windows shattered, and me being on my knees. They repaired my car and then fast forward a year later (ya. Some luck huh) i got T-boned in an accident and I knew exactly who to go to for that peace of mind. Brought my car here after I got into an accident where I was rear ended and hit the car in front of me as a result. Both my front bumper and rear bumper were fixed. Jim was very communicative from the beginning and made himself available via phone. They even gave me a ride home after I declined getting a rental. Reason I'm giving them a 4 out of 5 is because they requested several supplemental $$$ from my insursnce. It seemed a bit excessive but my insurance covered it. Overall really good service. I came here after someone anonymously rammed into my parked car, damaging my alignment, bumper, rims, and tires. What an extremely stressful time it was for me, but thankfully I went through my insurance and got my repairs done here. Everyone was so kind and informative, from the beginning of my claims procedure to when I received my car. They replaced my bumper on my Honda with a brand new one, made all of my rims look brand new and shiny, and fixed my alignment. I also got a good explanation of how to use my "Loss of Use" portion of my insurance to put towards my deduction. All in all, I love how friendly Jim and the owner John was to me. Highly recommed this body shop. I came in for rear damage on my Lexus NX. Jim was able to help me out, he gave me the rundown of the whole process and and estimate. He definately knew what was he doing, and very fair estimate. Also, the body shope was following all process until the end, so I didn't worry about extra steps. And their job was amazing. So far so good. Did go through my insurance, farmers (love them). Jim from the shop took care of everything, even my rental. Jim personally dropped the rental off at my residence, 51m from the shop, and took care of all the paper work. So far I am a pleased female customer. I will write another review after the work is completed (front windshield replacement, front right fender dents and scratches, right side mirror and right side passenger door) UPDATE: although Jim has been professional the owner, Johnathan, was something else. The owner does not know how to take responsibility for the work his company provides for the community. He pawned off the shop's mistake (faulty wiring that blew out the window motor) as wear and tare and scam my insurance company for $$... I now drive around with 1 magnified side mirror (the one JH Collision replaced without checking to see if it matched the car's original side mirror) and 1 un-magnified side mirror (original part). I tried to get JH to take a look at it and help me find a solution but Johnathan refused and asked me to handle it, which was a nightmare since it wasn't the dealership service department that handled the repairs. After 3 weeks of going back and forth I threw in the towel. I asked my insurance agent to never refer me to JH Collision in the future and I would advice future customers, sorry Jim. Bait and switch straight up like a korean auto repair shop, they quoted me saying the repair could cost around $X dollars and that they are not sure and it can go up after they rip the car apart first which they also charge to do. after they took everything apart the estimate becomes more than DOUBLE. and remember people i said its MORE than DOUBLE. let me tell you if your a women don't go here on your own you will get greeted by rude disrespectful service people thinking they know the world and you don't know anything. Its funny how they make fun of the repair shop across from them saying they are the bait and switch people when its actually them. read more
