All the major departments - produce, meat, seafood, dairy, were stocked almost to overflowing, with good regular and sale prices displayed prominently. The store is brightly lit and the aisles are wide. There are 2 self-checkouts. The employees here are really friendly and chatty. If it ever expands (and if it does well, it should be considered), add some more hot food stations and a salad bar.

We became devotees…read moreof their seven grain bread, but recently there was a major change in how it was made, going from a very substantial REAL loaf of bread to a fluffy, airy version that was no longer worth buying. After sadly discontinuing it in our usual purchases for a while, we decided to give it a try again. In a small but true bit of good news, they seem to have gone back to making the old, righteous recipe. Kudos to the Hawthorne Valley Farm bakers!
