I've been coming here for about 10 Years so figured it was about time for a review. They don't upsell unless it's needed (battery holding 50% power on this trip) and the costs are very competitive, especially if you have one of their coupons. They are fast and always inflate tires, clean windows, and generally do an awesome job! They also input whatever increment you want for the next oil change (I use 5K miles per my owners manual) so you get timely notifications! Simply put . . . Go elsewhere.. attempted to charge 168.00 for oil change. Question the cost and oil type. switch to penzoil.. changed oil, attempted to say needed new filters, (Filters were replaced 6 months ago. I put dates in sharpie on them) declined. went to pay, handed discount coupon, was told 'coupons expired", pointed out date, was given excuse, looks like an old coupon... The Louisiana/Paseo Jiffy Lube did not put the undercarriage access panel back on correctly after an oil change, which caused it to come loose while going 75 on the freeway near Isleta, and made me have to emergently get over to the shoulder in heavy traffic. My sister was behind us and they had to do the same to help us out. These maneuvers could have caused many accidents, and was a very serious infraction. We immediately went back to have them fix it and there were no apologies or acceptance of responsibility. Two days later, I was in the rain and my wipers were warped. Their checklist supposedly showed that they checked the wipers and they were okay; they were not okay and I ended up driving home barely being able to see past a grease smudge the entire trip. We will NEVER go back to this location; cannot trust them to perform simple maintenance - such as advice on wipers and put a panel back properly which could have been extremely dangerous in both situations. I went to the Jiffy Lube at 8120 Louisiana Blvd in Albuquerque because it was the closest location to my house where I was staying. Luck was with me as I never had a better experience getting help from people who work on cars. My experience at this Jiffy Lube location couldn't have been better. I had a problem with the undercarriage dragging a plastic cover because the clips were missing. I am from out of state and was in town to help care for a family member who is seriously ill with cancer. There are 2 children, 6 and 8, and everything is upside down. Did not want to add to the problem with this car issue. I first spoke to Elijah who immediately reassured me that this could be dealt with. Plus he was very sympathetic about our battle with cancer. He and his boss Dustin fixed my problem on the spot, and - although they didn't have to go out of their way to make me feel better, they did! I highly recommend this location and commend the management for hiring both caring and competent people like Elijah and Dustin. You are in good hands there for sure! read more

I absolutely love this location the workers there are always so kind and have a smile on their face. The manager always greets me and I always get great service. I've gotten oil change brakes done windshield wipers, replaced fluids, etc! I have been here for a couple years now I will never go to another Jiffy lube location, they always get me in and out in less than an hour of course depending on the time of day, but even then with it being busy, they're very quick and efficient at their job, the price is affordable and worth every penny. 9:30 5/1/2024 I walked in to the store after parking my car and a guy notices I walked in and went into the office and shut the door stayed in for at most 5 mins. Then he comes out (I'm first in line) doesn't say a word to 3 customers in line with me, he walks from the office to the service bay DIDNT SAY A WORD TO US. The person behind me says "do you have anyone to help us" he told us to sit down and wait for 2 cars to get done and he will come back. lol this is not made up that boy did not want to work. So we left immediately of course because that's not how things work. If you value your time and like you vehicle worked on by someone who cares avoid this place. Slow, slow, slow. I thought these places were supposed to get you in and out and usually they do. This time, however, I waited almost an hour and half to get an oil change. I think they ran into a problem with someone else's car so they probably could not help it. However, I wish they had mentioned that it was going to take longer than usual because I literally just popped out to get my oil done while leaving a sick family member at home resting. I would have come back at a better time if I had known it was going to take so long. Instead of in and out, I waited...and waited...and waited...and then they tried to up-sell me like usual...and then I waited some more...and then a bit longer...and then they almost had my car done but not quite...you get the point. It was an exercise in futility to say the least. Not sure I will go back to this particular one but perhaps you will have better luck. I certainly hope so. read more

This Jiffy Lube is the WORST! All I needed was an oil change and they not only forgot to put the screw back in for the plastic cover under my car but refused to replace it when I called them. My car has less than 70k miles, isn't old & I haven't had any issues until after they worked on it. I took it back home and it wouldn't start! I called the guy for him to only say bring it in, I tell him I can't because it won't start, his reply was well don't you have another vehicle to jump it, no I don't! Not all of us do! So i tell him I'm going to have to tow it and if they will cover the cost since it's not my fault for whatever they did, of course he says no, but if I get it down there he will look at it. Wtf! No good customer service what so ever! No good workers either! ESPECIALLY this so called manager I was speaking to. We get it back to the jiffy lube only for him to put the screws in and say he won't replace the cover. We say it's damaged and his response is that's what it's there for. So I went in with a non damaged/broken one & have to leave with a damaged one! They break it but won't fix it. Plus they want to charge us to find out what's wrong! Took my car here for oil change. They were fast got me in and out. Guy was very nice, however they didn't check any fluids in my car or rotate the tires. A week after leaving my car started feeling funny. Checked everything and realized I was totally out of power steering fluid. This could have really messed up my car. Anyways, I guess you should make sure that all of this has been done. I paid around 60 with a 25 dollar coupon. Expensive for the service. read more

I've been coming here consistently and every single time I come, I get fast and friendly service. Whomever is managing this location is doing an excellent job. Every person I talk to at this location seems to really know a lot about cars and seems to really care about the topic they are discussing regarding my vehicle. Yesterday I brought in a car with really fogged up headlights. There was a heavy layer of oxidation and I was considering buying new ones for $350 each. While having my oil and coolant topped off, one of the service guys said " hey, do you want us to do your headlights?" And I was like, "sure"!. They told me they could make them look brand new for $79-$89. I thought well, what's the worst the could happen for $79-$89 when I was about to spend $700. About 25 min later, he said, "hey check it out". They literally looked brand new. read more

Came in early so I didn't have to wait. Somehow my Jiffy Lube coupon wouldn't work in their system, but they found a way to give me the discount anyway. They replaced the two license plate light bulbs and broke one of the bulb holders in the process but never said anything. I didn't find out until I got home. The reason I know they broke it is because I had JUST put Armorall over that area prior to coming here and know for certain that it wasn't broken when I went to have my oil changed. Hidden fees! They charge a "required environmental fee" that they don't include in the original price. They barraged me with windshield replacement, serpentine belts, headlight cleaning (all for an additional cost of course), to the point where it felt like I was dealing with commission only employees. All Jiffy Lubes tell you to get your oil changed after 3,000 miles or three months, whichever is cheaper. This is a flat, conscious lie; that frequency is rarely needed. Went to get an oil change before this I had just driven to the west side on the highway going 80+ now if u know anything about 4 wheel low u know u can't go that fast and there is an immidiate noticeable difference between 2 high and 4 low I went for an oil change as I drove out I could hear a loud clicking I was worried and said it didn't do that before and then they said it was because my axle was messed up and I was in 4 low well 1. I wasnt in 4 low when I came and 2. My axle wasn't mess up it was just the natural sound of being in 4 low and turning on gravel I put it in neutral and drive and it was fine ... very unprofessional and 0 accountability and know nothing about cars except how to rotate tires do emissions tests and they can't even change oil read more

This is my preferred Jiffy Lube location and has been for at least the past 2 years. Service technician Kenny Nguyen is kind, efficient, and offers just enough information to help you make an appropriate service decision. I had a chip in my windshield, he noticed it and was able to assist me in fixing it through my insurance company (Geico) for free. I feel he pays attention to detail, and the staff genuinely seems happy and it looks like they operate as a true team. I'm usually in and out within about 20 minutes, including today with the chip repair. These guys rock!! read more

Prompt and complete service. They changed my oil, checked my automatic transmission, which drips a little, showed me my air filter and replaced a turn signal and marker bulbs which were out. Probably the best Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. They are nice and they always give me a lot of information on my car. Sometimes I can not always afford everything that my car needs at the time of service. They do not pressure me at all! They just tell me to come back when I have time and the money, of course. I hate having to get my oil change but they actually make it bearable, actually pleasant. Slow service. No compassion for customers. Once my vehicle was done, they pulled it out but didn't inform me. I had to go to the service Bay and ask when I could complete my transaction since my car had been completed 10 minutes earlier. It took several additional minutes then the female attendant didn't even say thanks or hope to see you again. I had 4 vehicles I needed oil changes and they have lost all my business due to failed customer service on the first vehicle. I will not return to this location until the management changes. Charged $9.95 for emissions retest in addition to the initial $24.95. My vehicle passed the emisions test with the exception of the gas cap test (yes that's part of emissions testing). Curiously, same thing happened last year so I had to buy a new cap and get retested. Difference is that quick emisions charges 19.95 and retests for free within ten days. Took 1 1/2 hours for an oil change. I was charged an oil upcharge because they said my car took more than 5 quarts of oil. I drive an Audi so premium oil upcharge was $18.10. I sat there and watched them open 5 quarts of premium oil and put it into my car and still try and charge me the upcharge. I do not like being lied to or ripped off.
