Jeremy went above and beyond to get us on the road on Christmas Eve. We were heading out on a road trip but our tires were low and it was frigidly cold out so we didn't want to take our chances at the gas station down the road. We pulled in to Jiffy Lube to see if they could air the tires and were informed that they had just closed and were in the process of cleaning up. However, Jeremy was able to make it happen and got us on the road in a short time. We were very grateful for his assistance. We have always gotten great service at this location. read more

My father got his Dodge Journey serviced last week. I took the receipt and filed it in its folder. I noticed there was also another Jiffy receipt on top in the file. I notice it's the same location on Debarr and I review both. March 2025 and October 2024. Both were for oil change service, and on both receipts he was charged for a cabin air filter. Yeah right I think so I call and ask for a manager. Told him my concern and i was told its abased on the condition of the filter. I disagree then and now that a cabin air filter will not go bad unlesss unusual circumstances such as a volcano erupting. Mild winter, no break up, I cannot justify this charge. When questioning it, manager told me Dads signature validated the work! I disagree! Dad is in his eighties and he trusts too mucha at times and this is one of them. Heres the kick to the whole story. What do think he was charged for a cabin air filter change? LOL $59.99 both times. You lost customers because of this Jiffy Lube. I took this complaint to corporate level and found out majority of Jiffy Lube locations are independently owned and that the decision is made on location. The WORST place ever!!! my skip plate fell off after a week and was dragging all down Seward Hwy. I went to a different Jiffy Lube to have it looked at. They "fixed" it, only to fall off again when I left the parking lot. Now I'm back at original Jiffy Lube to get a new skip plate. let's see..... the guys are super nice at least!! read more

BEWARE the vultures. My girlfriend went to this jiffy lube for what should've been a basic oil change and returned having been pressured into $250 worth of "services." Instead of the $80 oil and filter change they pressured an air filter change (not important at all), some codified line item (at least be clear about what your charging for), and a 2 stage engine cleaning (for a 30k mileage engine? Give me a break). 1 star for doing what was explicitly asked for at all and -4 for the salesman driven non essential bull crap being peddled. Would not recommend for anyone who's unsure of what their car needs or anyone who's overly agreeable. read more

Took my truck in for oil change. Picked it up and they tried talking me into 500.00 worth of stuff I didn't need. They said my oil was a quart low when I took it in, a lie. I checked it this morning before dropping it off and it was good level. It's never been a drop low or ever burned or leaked oil. They got me for an air filter, whatever, no biggy. But when I got it home I noticed they didn't snap the air filter housing back correctly, which would have leaked. Oil all over my steering wheel. I got under it to make sure they put a new oil filter and noticed they just pulled the old filter off and let it pour into my skid plate. Oil all over everything!! The reason I brought it to them was so that didn't happen! So unprofessional. 119.00 for an oil change that I can do for 50.00 myself! I will never take anything here again! read more

Took my wife's van in for an oil change. The attendant said I'm due for a rear end fluid change. My wife's van is front wheel drive, so I declined. The attendant said I need 0w20 oil, which is correct. After they completed the primary fill, they performed their quality check. The agent who checked the levels needed to top off with more oil. When he went to fill the portable oil filler, he put 15w30 in. I tried to get his attention, but wasn't able to stop him before putting it in our van. I got a hold of the lead agent, and they said it's not going to hurt it. I don't care... I'm paying for the correct oil in our vehicle. Besides, if there ended up being engine problems, it may void the vehicle's warranty. Not going there again. As a customer I should feel comfortable knowing that they're doing the right thing. read more

Such a great group of people! Everyone was super nice, even the service tech was friendly and wished me a good day! The office waiting area is a bit small but it's super clean. My car has an oil leak and the techs kindly told me I need my oil pan gasket repaired. Unfortunately they can't do my car there which was a bummer, I would have rather had it fixed all at once, but maybe in the future they will do more repairs! I needed help replacing my cabin air filter after opting and failing to do it myself. I was assisted by Jaime who was friendly, courteous, and quick to accommodate my vehicle's needs. I also needed a bulb replaced for my license plate. I was pleased that it took less time than I expected and I highly recommend this location. I should note that the day before, I went by to see how long it would take to get my vehicle serviced and was told it would be an hour or so as they had several others before me. That was helpful in deciding whether I would wait, return, or visit another location. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service... was told 20-30 minutes and after 30 minutes truck had still not been pulled in. it seems EVERY vehicle is "a quart low" when it arrives because the techs check the oil instantly without it settling into the pan... listened to them take advantage of someone else and upsell the living hell out of her on a relatively new vehicle... it seems there are no morals or customer service left in the automotive industry. went up the street and was pulled in almost instantly with good honest people. wouldn't send my arch nemesis to this place. RUN!!! STAY AWAY!!! literally look 3 minutes up the street don't waste your time or money. read more

Great place to get a quick and reasonably priced oil or fluid change. Do not trust them on brakes. Was told my rear brakes were critically low and they needed replacement, but they could only do that if they did a full service brake fluid flush and other stuff as well ~$400+ I can change shoes and bleed the brake lines so declined and went to get the parts. Brake shoes were nearly the same thickness as the new ones so I took it to another shop I trust and they said brakes were fine and up at 80-90% thickness. Really disappointed the service guys were blowing smoke to try and up-sell me as they are a friendly bunch with solid customer interactions. :/ read more

Went there three separate times to get my brakes done. Every single time they told me to come back another day because they have no brake technician working. And every time THEY told me to come back on a certain time, I did and still no brake technician. The second to last time I went on a Thursday and they said there would be a brake technician there on Saturday to come early. I said OK you open at 8 AM I will be there at 7:30. He said no, you should come at 6:00-6:30 AM to get there before the crowd. Saturday I show up at 6 AM and wait there for 2 hours to then be told there is no brake technician again. Definitely would not recommend this company. There customer service is one of the worst in Anchorage. And that's saying something as a lot of customer service here is horrible. read more

I just left the Anchorage location on Tudor. When I got in the car, I found my seat settings had been completely changed leaving me to have to try and find the perfect setting that I originally had it at. Also, when I started my car, I got a warning light that my trunk was open. Didn't get this light on the way to JL so I'm curious at why the employees are in my trunk when that's not where they are putting the oil??? I had my reservations about coming here as I have had poor service from JL in the past but really needed a change and its close to my work. But after this... I would rather pay double the price at a dealership than have my seat played with and my trunk rummaged through. read more

I came to this Jiffy Lube (maybe a year or less ago?) originally to get my oil pan replaced from a mess up from the Debarr Jiffy Lube. I was about to boycott Jiffy Lube all together, but thanks to the District Manager (?) and the Tudor Jiffy Lube, I am a loyal customer again. The customer service is excellent here! Plus it really means a lot to me when an organization is willing to go out of their way to make things right. I would definitely recommend this location if you're looking for an oil change. read more

I arrived at around 9:30 am and was escorted to the customer lounge by a smiling Jeff. He offered a delicious cup of Keurig coffee and chilled bottled water and they began working on my car right away. I had several issues including a leaking tire (a nail), a dead headlight, overdue for an oil change, and tire rotation. They checked everything and topped off all fluids! Jeff gave me frequent updates, and Joe explained that a brake pad inspection revealed that I will need to replace the pads next year. That was the first time I have ever been given a heads up on brake pad wear during a routine maintenance check! I was in and out in less than an hour, they were thorough, and I was very impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. Joe walked me to my car when it was finished, and invited me to come back when it is time for my next oil service. I would not consider going anywhere else, Joe! Thank you, Jeff, Joe, and everyone who worked hard to get my car ready for one last road trip before winter! You all have given me peace of mind that my car will not break down in the middle of nowhere, so I can enjoy the scenery and enjoy the ride. read more

Broke my air filter housing. I needed only a oil change. Everything else was fine and I know that. Been gone so much I haven't had the time but I know what's good. Tried to tell me I needed more coolant, I said "no I don't" oh it's just the reservoir that's empty. I checked after, it wasn't. Stopped with the selling after that. Left oil on the side of my fender, too much to wipe off. Broke the air filter housing, likely by leaning on it. Never said a word, acted like it didn't happen. Fuck them. I would strongly recommend going to this jiffy lube, not only is the staff so sweet. The management is impeccable. I went in for a tire change, not only did they get me in a timely manner. They also walked me out to my car. unfortunately the next day, I had a flat tire. So I called Jiffy lube, and explained that I was just in yesterday and my tire is now flat. The manager helped me put the donut on my car, and go me into the shop that day to repair my tire. Luckily, it was just a nail in my tire. This is a smoothly run Jiffy lube, and you can really tell the staff respects their boss. I really felt like I could trust the work they did on my vehicle. They cleaned my windows, vacuumed my floor boards, changed my fog light that was out, topped off all my other fluids, and recommended a transmission fluid flush and fill since I was over due for one. Horrible service. The lady at the front desk barely stayed in there for more than 1/2 a minute so I wasn't unable to ask any questions. I waited about 2 hours for my oil change and was trying to ask her at around 3:30 an estimate of how much longer my car would take (I got there at 2 and had work at 4) she told me 15 minutes so I said ok. 15 minutes and she just is calling me up to see what I wanted done.. I told her I just wanted a regular oil change and she asked which synthetic oil I would like. I told her I didn't want synthetic as I've never used it in my car and didn't want to pay the extra for it. She told me the only oil that can work in my car is synthetic which I knew was a blatant lie but they had already emptied my oil pan and I had to get to work. Ultimately I was lied to about which oil had to go in my car so that I was forced to pay more. Also 2 hours for an oil change? Absolutely ridiculous. Although, I did file a complaint and received a refund. Which is the reasoning for the 1 star. I will not be returning read more
