They've even helped with some welding on my riding lawn mower before! They've worked with me on timing ("I need it done by 3p on Friday" or "I'm off work on Monday, how about I bring it in then?"). They're honest on whether work needs to be done or not (fluid changes recommended by dealership, and CV boot supposedly leaking). Recently, they saved me $1500 on a mechanical issue related to a headlight repair that the local Lexus Dealership had ridiculously quoted. Plus, they are great people in our local community. Scheduled an appointment for an inspection for a roaring sound coming from the car. The person who…read morehelped me upon entering (was welcoming) did not disclose any cost for the service. They quoted me just under $3,000 to change the gaskets, replace the catalytic convertor, and a myriad of other parts and services related to replacing the exhaust system. They also recommended I change the spark plugs. I had new spark plugs installed less than 100 miles earlier. When I asked them about this, they said it was only a "mileage based recommendation". Why should I trust any of their other diagnoses if they wanted $205 to replace spark plugs I just had installed? When I declined the service, the guy assisting me at the counter requested $49 "to throw at the technician". Not wanting an argument at the counter, I paid and figured I'd dispute the charges later. They put on a good front with the bottled water, shuttle service, and Biblical references on their website. They seem to have forgotten Matthew 22:39; the first verse they quote..."Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" I was able to go to a local shop and they welded/fixed the flex pipe for $120 without any of the BS.

I left and came back within the 30 min and still waited another 20 before it was pulled into the bay. The assistant manager shoed me the price for the oil change which was $100, had i not been on time crunch and needed the tire looked at i would've left. I was told that they would not be able to patch my tire as it was damaged too close to the side which was fine and I opted to go ahead and get new tires since I already knew I would need to soon. I noticed on the estimate where she showed me the tire price that it was recommended for my serpentine belt to be changed, at this point I was already there for an hour and I told her if that need done then I guess do it since I was leaving for Tennessee the next day. She stated it would be another 2 hours and I took a walk and came back after 20min and I said something about my windshield washer fluid and she said oh yeah mechanic said it's cracked and I said no the pump pops out, I asked if they actually looked to see if it was cracked and was told no. I was told my oil was empty and my power steering fluid was low. I asked if everything was topped off and was told yes. As I'm sitting there and she told me that they got the wrong size belt and then got another wrong size and then she needed to order it from Omaha. She said she would call me when it came in. I was there for 3.5 hours for basically an oil change and new tires. As I was leaving my trailblazer was whining which I knew my power steering fluid was empty. When I got home my son on law and I were changing the bushing for my washer fluid and noticed that my belt is still in good condition. I was charged $300 for the belt to be changed. We returned to Midas this morning so I could get a refund and to have my power steering fluid to be filled since that had not been done. We asked why it was recommended that my belt to be changed and the manager said he did not know and he was going to follow up. I asked him if he looked at the belt and he said no, did you want me too? I told him nevermind. I told him I never had an issue when Rich worked there, Rich was always honest with me. I will never go back.

I just had the alternator replaced and DEF tank replaced at Bob Brown Chevrolet. Wouldn't you know it, it's the alternator and the turbo. I really appreciated Josh and the technician who were just honest with me, time to say goodbye to my beloved car. The cost of replacing the turbo, plus the fight I have to go through with Bob Brown isn't worth it. I hate dealerships, but had no choice for the first repairs, finding a mechanic to work on this car, besides the dealership has been hard. I will bring every car I own to this Midas. 10/10

Do not use this location. I was having issues with my car starting in the morning (made a loud…read morenoise). I was due for an oil change so thought it could be related to that so I got my oil changed here. I was told by one of the mechanics that I had metal in my oil and to see a full mechanic shop. So I take my car to a mechanic a few days later and they inform me that my oil and oil filter were in fact not changed and doesn't look like it had been changed for awhile even though I got my "oil changed" here regularly. Stay away!
