So I came here a year ago for a uber/lyft inspection and was charged $19.99, I just came here again for the yearly inspection and now they're wanting 19.99 for each uber and lyft!? It's the SAME inspection for God's sake! I told them this was ridiculous and left! I came here earlier last year (2016). There were two young guys working who told me that my battery needed to be replaced because it was dying? I had just bought a brand new battery 2 months before and was perfectly fine. They insisted on selling me a battery. I just didn't get a good vibe from them. Usually I go to the location on California Ave. I HAD to go to the Auburn location today because it's right next to my job and I needed an oil change for this weekend. I was so surprised! Both guys working there today were so nice and professional!! They explained everything to me throughly and were so friendly! The worst experience ever. Don't ever go to jiffy lube!!! I tell the young man that I have a $15 dollar coupon that I want to use. He talks me into the $74.99 oil change service and I'm good with that knowing I'll save $15 on it. I give him the coupon and he tells me oh no I don't need it right now we will take it after your service is completed. I said ok and went back into the waiting room. Mind you they say its only a fifteen minute wait and I was there first customer, I get there at 8:20am and check out at 9:10am to find out that my coupon is invalid or expired. . The coupon expiration date is 11/22/19 and today is 11/13/19. Then he said oh then it must not be valid at this location. Mind you there I'd nothing on the got damn coupon that say anything about valid at specific locations. Then he has the nerve to say I can give you the $7.00 off coupon. I blow up!!! I told him I don't care what you do just give me my car and I will never come here again or recommend your services to anyone. Very upset and disappointed customer!!!!! Don't go here. They are cons. The mechanic will do a number of things to con you. They pretended to have run out of regular motor oil so your options are to buy the synthetic which is more expensive or go somewhere else. I usually get synthetic anyway. This isn't what upset me. What upset me was how they swindled me to getting a new air filter. They showed me a dirty air filter that they said came from my car which I truly believe they had switched. It. So I had them replace it. Only to find out 6 months later that they didn't replace it with the right size after my air condition started to make noise as a result of debris getting into the compartment. Stay away from this place or beware of the tricks. read more

Just had an oil change requested a simple oil change .. they immediately approached me and expressed how my vehicle was leaking excessively upon arrival. (which it is not) They also stated that my front end lube parts are sealed and not serviceable. ( they all have grease fittings on them.) Dishonest business practice. read more

Be careful going here. I sent my teenage son to get my oil changed. He text me and said they suggested we replace the air filter which I was said fine. When I got home and checked the bill I noticed besides the cost of the oil change and the filter there was a $20.00 labor fee?? I have been getting oil changes for 30 years and have never been charged $20.00 labor for them to open a box and drop in a new air filter in. Not sure if this is their normal practice or if they were just taking advantage of a teenager who wouldn't know better. I will not be going to this Jiffy Lube again. read more

I decided to come to this location because I read all the other location reviews and felt this one had the best positive remarks. I'm glad I came to this location. They are fast on your vehicle. They also do other things other than changing your oil which is great! I got certain things replaced on my vehicle and was given all my old parts to ensure he did the job. I would recommend this location! You can try other jiffy lubes at your own risk but this one I will surely go to again in the future! All staff work together including the supervisor which is awesome. The little waiting area was clean and it also has coffee and water. 5 stars for helpful, honest, fast and friendly service! read more

I had to give this a 2 star rating because Luis upsold me on synthetic oil. I told him my truck wasn't required to have synthetic but he kept insisting. I needed the job done so I went with the "blend" ... part regular and part synthetic oil". After I got home I consulted my owners manual and confirmed online that a regular 5w-30 is completely acceptable for my truck. After the service was finished I paid the $72 dollar bill and Luis said to be sure and return at 5000 miles. I told him I don't change oil until the oil change alert comes on. Luis then stated that the alarm is programmed to go on at 5000 miles..... I call BS.... I have been around cars all my life, I am a Maintenance manager at a large international company so I am not dumb by any means. I don't care about the "snow job" but maybe someone with limited means will buy this bs line when they can't really afford it. Outside of this the customer service was adequate. read more
