I'm at a Firestone getting my tires replaced and they asked me when's the last time that had an oil change and I'm like two days ago. Hey, oil is super dirty and then I thought about it .. my wife saw a technician at Jiffy Lube, putting dirty oil in a car and I thought it was just the tent of the oil and now we have an car service shop telling me my oil is dirty. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. No fluids were checked. No recommendations for services. No checking of my brakes like the last time. Technician wasn't calling out to technician under the car to make sure things were done. How can you check "fluids" from beneath the car. When leaving I asked if they had a paper that lays out what services they provide. I was told, go online. What? What kind of response is that. I was in AutoZone (great store) trying to figure out what bulbs I needed for my brake and running lights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I was looking, a young man told me that Jiffy Lube nearby could put them in for me and he quoted an incredibly reasonable price.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ( He turned out to be their manager! What a blessing!) What a relief! Senior widows are the most vulnerable when it comes to car and home repairs. When I was there, I was asked if I had noticed a funny smell from the engine area and I had! He had as well and said I needed to change the differential fluid. I did a quick search and I was way way way overdue (13 year old car...never done once) So, I had that done and air filters changed (which again, I had never done). And, not only did they change my bulbs, they changed all of the rear bulbs because all were obviously old (again, never done). I didn't even bring the right bulbs and they switched them out for me. I left their shop happy with the price, my car absolutely drives better, and I felt that the shop was concerned about my safety. This doesn't happen to us seniors without a big price tag. I started using this place because it was local and quick. I've now come back 6 times each time for an oil change. This most recent time I asked my tech Alex if he had noticed anything else while he was working that might be worth checking out. He checked my air filters and showed them to me, let me know that everything looked good from the bottom, and even looked up the service schedule for my car to make sure I had handled everything else inside of the manufacture allotted mileage periods. I brought my vehicle in because my usual place was packed and I was in a hurry. BIG mistake!!!! I got my vehicle in and they started right away, then a big truck came in about five minutes or more after me and my vehicle didn't get any attention while two people started on the gentleman's truck next to me. Eventually, after about 15 minutes, another oil change specialist came out and started working alone on the under side of my truck. Meanwhile the two working next to me finished the truck that came in after me! I am still sitting and waiting for my vehicle to be done. I had a great experience here. Only about 5 minutes to get the car inside, and they started on it right away. Super friendly staff, no push to buy anything, willing to show me everything they felt needed to be addressed. I will be back here. I left Vancouver Toyota after 23 years die to a really lousy and drawn out cluster of terrible communication and customer service. Warning! Warning! Warning! Do not got to jiffy lube!!!!!! I went in for a oil change about a monthly ago had oil change,radiator flush and transmission flush $445 worth of work. Next day started my car left for work and my first turn I heard a Big clunk?? Automatically took it back to jiffy lube and it was almost 4 quarts low on transmission fluid? Now it has a delayed shift coming off from a start so I made several phone calls and corporate says they are independently owned so I got 2 phone calls and that was it. They really push to up sell what I didn't need and couldn't afford. Had a second opinion from a reputable source which refuted most of what they claimed I needed done and then a Good Samaritan in the vicinity said that jiffy lube always rips off women because they assume women don't know about cars, well I feel discriminated against. The next day at work I ask 3 coworkers of their experiences at jiffy lube, 2 of which were female and had similarly negative experiences, one actually had her husband come in and asked the technician to repeat what was said to her and funny thing it was a whole other story. I don't usually write reviews... If I could give this zero stars, I would. I have a perfectly good driving car. Whoever last changed my oil spilled some oil around in the engine. Not a big deal. My car is running a little low on oil. I came in today to get an oil change they said they'll be right with me and it's going to take about 25 minutes. I decided to go to Walmart to burn some time and I came back 25 minutes later for them to deem my car completely unserviceable and denied me service. My guess is they popped open the hood and saw a little spilled oil and shut it back and said "nope!" Took it to grease monkey 10 minutes later and got my oil changed quickly and with good service! Covid days made this a quick stop for an oil change, which was upsold quickly (due to my lack of car knowledge) to an engine flush. While work was performed, I was asked if I wanted the tiny chip on my windshield repaired for no charge. It's a month later and I receive a notice from my auto insurance that a claim was filed by Jiffy Lube with 3rd party Safelight for windshield repair. I was not notified by Jiffy Lube that they would file a claim against my insurance. I had NOT given them any of my insurance information. This pisses me off. read more

very much not impressed. would've stopped coming to jiffy lube altogether if it was up to me. for privacy reasons, i won't state why but i can only to go to jiffy lube for vehicle services, and am supposed to ask them to rotate my tires. i know certain locations won't, and say they can't, and that's totally understandable not an issue. my issue with this location, is they can and they have, but they dislike doing it and catch an attitude when asked to. last time i went in, i told them i needed an oil change and tire rotation, i was the only customer there and they put up a fuss about the tire rotation but finally agreed to do it. i'm not a confrontational person and have never been anything but respectful and polite toward the employees. while waiting in the lobby, i can hear them talking smack and complaining about me asking them to do the tire rotation. i know redhead beard guy (possibly manager?) could hear this too, as he was in the office with his door open. he didn't say anything to the guys nor me about it. today, i went in and asked for the same thing. a couple of the same guys were on shift, when i said what i wanted they said, we can do that for you. i thanked them, waited in the lobby and after a bit they brought me my receipt. i read through it, and they hadn't done the tire rotation. i am nearly positive that was not accidental. i don't know what their issue is with doing it, but my only other option is going to another shop where it takes 3-4.5 hours just to get them rotated. this shop is quick, and that's why i like to get everything done in one go with them, but their attitudes definitely need a lot of improvement. they act like they're not being paid to do the work read more

I have reached out to the Area manager, but my call is not important to him. My new truck getting her second oil change ever, I get to sit in the truck during service (BONUS). The young guy that checked me in could not have been more pleasant, and he really liked my truck. He told me how clean and pretty it was at least 5 times. As he walks away, the crew starts to change my oil and inspect under my hood. I feel the front end go down just a bit so I peaked through the little spot below a raised hood and saw a worker sitting under the hood. They are doing a thorough job it seems. Then I start hearing grunting and grunting and more grunting and it is getting louder. Then I hear &*^# broke it. I jumped out of my truck as in WTF. I get oh sorry, oh nothing, we were joking around. Dude let us not joke under my truck like that. I no longer want to be in my truck and go pace the waiting area, pissed. The young man that checked me in was in the lobby and got to hear what happened. He is going to go check it out telling me which one in the bay area was mgr on duty. Hmmmm, that is the one that was "joking around". Finish my truck so I can leave, is all I am thinking at this point. I pay my $100 for my oil change and get told I am ready to go. My truck is not clean any longer, body smear marks on both sides by the hood. Grease all over the chrome of my hood. Fender covers are cheap, and should have been used (but weren't). I have checked my oil 3 times since I left the shop, with that burnt oil smell. It is all still there, including all you spilled. Few days after the repair was done, engine started to overheat. Went back to the shop, tech said it was low on coolant. He said there must have been air in the system - I agree, it is possible. When I asked how much coolant goes in this vehicle, he said it is different for every car. I asked again for specific volume for this vehicle, again he said it is different for every car. He was avoiding to admit he does not know (I am ok with a fact he does not have the answer at the moment) or did not want to go look it up. Anyways, they topped off the coolant and that was it. He said if it happens again, the thermostat will have to be replaced (he did not see it leak but said it might be it). In a few days car is overheating again. I checked under the hood, saw coolant low and it was wet under the general area of the tank, all the way at the bottom where belt is routed. Tank itself was dry on the outside, where the hoses connect to it, will explain why it is important to mention in a second. Went to the shop again. They checked it again, said it is loosing coolant somewhere, tech topped off the coolant and asked me if I want me to see where it is leaking. I said sure, he pointed out the two hoses going to the tank are wet, hoses are bad, cost just under $400 to replace them. Hoses were dry last time I checked, few miles before was when I looked at them, when I saw the coolant is below the minimum line with engine running. He gave me a printed quote, I said I need to check with my office. He topped it off again. I stopped at an independent mechanic, explained him the situation and if he could take a look. He got the vehicle on the lift, saw the leak coming from the water pump seal. I am not saying the jiffy lube tech broke anything or caused the leak, I can believe it is a coincidence it happened right after the work they did. What bothers me is that one tech said he does not know where the leak is coming from, second one said air in the system, third told me thermostat is bad and fourth said hoses are leaking, after he topped off the tank and got them wet, I know for a fact they were dry before he opened the hood. There was no coolant in the system to make them leak, it was water pump seal all along. It took me a while to write this review as I wanted to give it enough time driving with a new water pump to make sure it resolved the issue. It did, coolant level is the same as it was when I picked up the vehicle at the other repair place, two weeks ago. Jiffy lube wanted to charge $400 for hoses and it would not have fixed the issue. What if I said yes to the repair and had to go back since that was not the issue? Out of $400 plus whatever they deemed necessary then. I changed the 1 star to 5 star review last time, after manager contacted me, he made the situation right. Now all this happened.
