Our Jeep Liberty's heater was not pumping out heat, until we were at freeway speeds. We took it into this automotive shop. They kept the Jeep for a day and said they flushed the radiator, replaced the thermostat and temp sensor. Within two days, when we needed heat, it was still not working properly. We took it back, not happy that it wasn't fixed and we were out $822.00. The second fix was to replace the radiator. They said we cracked if after the first repair. There was 7 days in between the first repair and the 2nd! It never worked right after the first repair! They said the radiator was "rusted out" So how could it get rusted out in 7 days. They never said it was rusted out at the first visit!! 2nd repair was a new radiator and new coolant for $756. STILL DOESNT WORK RIGHT!!! read more

We've had multiple oil changes where they have failed to put the drain plug back in properly and have had to take our car back in... had both cars leaking at the same time once... Once they tried to charge us $600 for spark plugs, but the final straw was after going in and telling them we were taking a long road trip please check the fluids, our car overheated and now we're stranded in the middle of nowhere. Not sure on the status of our car. I give them two stars because they're really nice people and they're quick, and it is on me for going back as much as I did to them, but unfortunately after this last incident we will never go back and urge others to look for somewhere else. read more

Jordan and Ramon talks nice, but let me tell you that's all downhill from there. I came in to get my 2005 Honda Element fixed with a P2646 error code and to inspect my leaking power steering. I had tried many times to repairing it, which I told Jordan about. I had OEM Honda Solenoids that were cleaned, but I told him about the corrosive pigtail connectors I wanted him to check. I also gave him the service manual from Honda on how to diagnose P2646. I told him of common fixes for it that I heard from Facebook Honda Element groups since I made a post asking everyone there. He laughed at me and bragged about his $50,000 snap-on tool scanner and that he spends over $1000/month on some membership that gets him service manuals from all the car dealerships. Basically, he was telling me in his rude way that he already had all the resources already to fix my car. I dropped off my car so he can diagnose it for $100. He called me back within 3 hours and told me the solenoids were bad (very vague how he tested that) and they both needed to be replaced. He also said the spark plugs needed to be replaced. He quoted me $992 for my P2646. To fix my Power steering, he also quoted me about $1100 saying "it's completely contaminated and you have to replace the whole Power steering (lies)! The leak was repaired once I flushed out the bad fluid with new Honda fluid for $40 DIY. I told him I'd think about it and call him back. I hesitated, if its just replacing those parts, I have been doing that several times within the last week. So I called up Honda parts nearby and asked for those solenoids. One of then costed $150 and were available. But after some contemplation and realizing I wanted my car fixed asap, I gave him the approval. I told him he can get the Honda Solenoids at the Vancouver Honda Dealership. Guess what he replaced my solenoids with after I removed them off to check? Some cheap Dorman solenoids off Amazon for $75 and $55 solenoids, of which he charged me $150 each for. He was supposed to replace them with OEM HONDA SOLENOIDS. Scammer. When he said he was done after a day or 2,I came to pick it up. I asked him how sure he was he fixed the problem and if he test drove the car. He said no need to test drive the car. He is 100% positive it's fixed. I asked him if he threw away the original parts of mine. Sadly he did. I take the keys and drive off the lot, and BAM, Check engine light and the same problem with my car limping and difficulty accelerating, but it felt worse than before. I immediately turned around and returned the car to their shop. Jordan thinks my cars computer didn't pick up the new solenoid signal or some bs response. He diagnoses it for a few hours and says he determined it's maybe a faulty new solenoid, so he said since it's under warranty, he will replace that again. Again, I go to pick it up that same day, and when I asked him if he test drove the car, this time he said he had one of his mechanics test drive the car going 50-60mph and it ran perfect! He boasted how now the cars driveability is perfectly fine. I asked if he accelerated hard or even got up to 70mph, which he said he wasn't going to have his mechanics risk getting a ticket driving a customers car...Ok so he tells me that just in case, I should go make an appointment with Honda dealership for them to diagnose my computer since apparently his "$50k tool" can't do it. What the hell did I pay him for? So I take it to Honda dealership immediately. I tell the mechanic there exactly what I told Jordan, but they listened professionally. They asked for screenshots from the facebook groups. They asked the things I've tried and what Jordan tried. I told them I think it's the wiring. For the Honda dealership to diagnose the PROBLEMS (full inspection check, unlike Orchards), it costed the same as what Jordan charged me, $100. They even offered me a ride home. When Honda was done diagnosing, they sent me a link with a video breakdown of everything, including the video showing my valve cover off and them checking the timing. They did a full inspection highlighting green yellow or red what was going on with my car. They diagnosed the wiring, and sure enough there was corrosion on the wire leads at the connector like I said. I demanded a refund by these crooks. Everyone, please avoid these guys. read more

I went to get my brakes pads changed here a year ago because they gave me the lowest price estimate. When they were done, they told me the pads had a 10 year warranty. My brakes started squeaking recently so I brought the car back and they swapped out the pads because they had worn down already. Once I left, there was rattling coming from the rear and the squeaking started up louder than before a few days later. I brought it back, they looked at the brakes and assured me it wasn't the brakes. It got louder a week later and I called back. The guy told me he already looked and if he looked again, he would have to charge me for a diagnostic. I took it to another well known shop, told them the story and they told me the noise is from the rotors because they were never milled for the new pads. They told me O'Reilly offers a 10 year warranty and has brake pads as low as $20. So, they are clearly buying the cheapest pads they can and when they ware out and you bring it back, they will create more issues for your car and play dumb. Go somewhere else even if it is a little more expensive. They are young and after a quick buck instead of trying to build lifetime customers by doing work you can trust in. read more

Took my subrua to this place as I thought the transmission was slipping I left subrua to get a 2nd opinion and was told they had a machine that would tell if it was engine or transmission the next thing I know I was told a tune up would eliminate it so I thought good but $692. Later for a set of plugs $400 was for labor even the dealer is not that much. Plus my window and hTchback did not work when I left so today I went subrua and they reset it I will stay away from here. read more

This is NOT the mechanic you want to use. I had them do a pre purchase inspection on a car, they found some minor things, and then I had them fix it. Two months later I find out about a massive pre-existing issue with my car that they missed! I called, provided pictures, and reports of the issue. Ramon, the owner, acknowledged they might have missed something, twice, but offered no resolution. Super poor business practice and left me feeling pretty frustrated. Long story short - first - I pay their diagnosis fee - diagnosis I was told would be $99...turned out to be $117 with some ridiculous surcharge tacked on, in addition to tax. I ask for the sheet that showed the original quote I got from the guy on the phone and he said no. They quoted over $1000 on the phone - the guy comes out to tell me the quote was $1086...but still didn't want to have that on paper showing how it got to that price. The parts on the receipt for the diagnosis showed $369.99 and $459.99....for just the parts alone. HOWEVER - I dropped it off at my repair shop I trust - they were able to look at it and they quoted $756 (that's with parts, labor, tax, everything AND no diagnosis fee). The diagnosis was correct (which I admit I did not believe them but I was wrong there) but the marked up prices and nickel and diming is ridiculous. read more

Of course they won't tell you the final price until after the fact, and they'll tack on fees, but they'll give you $5 off 'cause you're a new customer. This place is just like Jiffy Lube and all the other "express" oil stations (I should've known when I saw the V rolling in). They butter you up, make you feel welcome, and then overcharge you. I drove by 3 times because their sign didn't say anything about oil change service so I wasn't sure if I had the right place. I did and I'm so glad. What exceptional service. I got right in, no wait. I had a coolant issue with my 2014 Xterra. The vehicle would take longer to warm up than usual, after going to multiple Nissan Dealers and being told " everything was normal". I got frustrated and wasted money for nothing. I found Orchards online and explained the issues in detail, they did a coolant flush and properly burped any air in my radiator. I was worried it might be the thermostat. Now it seems like my engine warms up faster and no more rushing water sound anymore when hitting the gas. Great work guys! As someone who works on their vehicles as a shaddy tree mechanics these guys are good! They use Valvoline products, Zerex for coolant which is exactly what I've used in my BMW-X5 in the past. For starters, when i went in for an oil change _, they exceeded the PSI recommended for my tires for three of my tires and stole the cap off the other tire thus causing it to deflate, secondly were found scratches along the driver side door frame, thirdly they left the cap on my oil tank loose, lastly it was over priced and ain't no telling what else they did to express their hate shm..differently the work of an adversary. Brought my Toyota Corolla '04 here to get the brakes and transmission fluid changed... They upsold me an additional $150 for the transmission flush and $60 for the power steering (which wasn't entirely necessary). Be aware: if you're not well-versed in car repairs, they will take advantage of your ignorance. After they finished working on my car, it began roughly idling and the check engine light came on... I brought it back and they told me it was due to a sensor malfunction and charged me an additional $70 to have it re-checked. They said this issue was "unrelated" to the work they'd done, which I find hard to believe since I'd never experienced these issues before bringing it here. I was arguing w/ the manager that I shouldn't be paying the additional $70 to have THEIR work RE-CHECKED, but he said, "too bad." He said if I brought the car back for more work he'd remove this charge, which doesn't make sense cause why would I want to continue business with them? In all fairness, the work they DID do was satisfactory, BUT they're the type of shop that'll try to squeeze every last penny out of you. They will take advantage of your ignorance if you have limited understanding of vehicles. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

The owner recommended this shop to me. I met him at my gym, there we talked and i by happenstance discovered he had a shop. Later that day i discovered a problem with my Honda CRV. Turns out when i had it tested at Oreilly's, they found my alternator to be malfunctioning. So naturally i purchased another. (With a core charge) not a cheap part. So i made arrangements with this shop to have it installed. After some negotiations on price they did the job. Smooth. Then i went to take the old alternator to get the cash for the core charge. As a matter of course, i had them again test said alternator, for overall function. It did NOT pass. Registering on their system as "Bad voltage regulator/Diode" --right out of the box! [Fail] So of course i asked well whats the remedy? He looked at me and said, well you need to replace it! Me: so many questions........................................................................ Like for starters, who pays for this? He said you can either purchase a new one first, or pull the other one out and bring it to us, and we will exchange/refund your purchase. But i had it installed i said. Well you will have to take that up with whoever put it in. Orchards express auto care. These guys rite here. So i went back to there shop, to see about the fact that the new alternator they installed was not charging the battery as per spec. This was met with distain by Ramon. As if me being irritated by the fact that this repair was either substandard, or they should have properly checked voltage output on the new part before they sent it out. Was off base? "We were paid to put the part in" he said, when he was further pressed he said "our policy is we don't install customer supplied parts" so let me get this right, it was my fault that you bent your own policy, because i was an acquaintance of the owner? they removed the safeguards for the customer? You know the one that says if a "bad part" is installed by the mechanic he can then negotiate with the supplier to be reimbursed for extra work instead of passing it on to the customer. That policy? It gets worse. So i decide to have them refix this issue. Negotiations were made to split labor only the new part they would provide this time, and i would pay for. I made an appointment for three days later, then brought it in and dropped it off. The next day got a call from Ramon saying that the alternator was charging the system at the factory specified rates. And he will change it if i really want him to.(paraphrased) He took pictures of the test meter. Supposedly while testing. It looked fine, so i acquiesced to this thinking--maybe i was wrong. This whole time i had been waiting on repair work for my other car so as not to be completely immobile. So i took my other vehicle, after i picked the Honda back up, to the other shop, i have decided to use. And no sooner than fifteen minutes of driving the Honda back toward home it goes in low power mode again? So i headed back to see Ramon, and at this point i am visibly frustrated. When he puts it on the meter and he says well it's only putting out "9.7 volts that's a bad part" really? So, now i realize that i will have to pay twice to repair this. So much for being an acquaintance of the owner. Btw Ramon did at least let me know that he now owns this is shop. Since 2016. Ramon knew that he wasn't making me happy ever, so he just wanted to call the whole thing off. Thanks for nothing Ramon, but frustration If i could rate this shop with minus stars: i would give it 5 minus stars For obtuseness / poor customer service / poor follow through. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, because they deserve it. I've been here several times for oil changes and always had a great experience. Today was the first time I have had maintenance done here, and it was equally wonderful service. Their prices are lower than anywhere else I have been, they work fast, they are honest (which is so rare!!) they communicate well, and the service is the best I've experienced. I recently moved and this location is well out of the way for me, but it is worth the trip to come here. I highly recommend this place for any auto services you might need! read more

Worst experience please read!!!!!! Took my 2010 Toyota Tundra in for Oil change and Transmission flush and was provided an estimate of about $300. Dropped it off about 9am on 11/10 and was told it would be done around noon. No updated phone calls from the time it was dropped off until 1:49 pm. When they called at 1:49 pm they had mentioned that 4 bolts broke off during the transmission pan removal and 1 bolt was broke prior to removal. Please remember I was not notified that 1 bolt was broke before hand or given the option of proceeding, but they continued without asking and asked after they broke 4 more and all fluid was drained. At the time of asking if I wanted to proceed (after they broke them) which at this point I had no choice,they said it would be $110 per hour. Want to guess what happened next.......the called me at about 4:30 pm, 30 mins before they closed and said that it wouldn't be done and that they were closed on 11/11 for Veterans day....no truck from 11/10 at 9 am until 1:30 pm on 11/12 and when I arrived they had a hefty bill waiting for over a $1000 .....just in time for the holidays!!! Upset with my visit I called about 6 other local shops and explained my situation and their response was the complete opposite of what my experience was here. They all had mentioned that I should have been given the option if I wanted to proceed at the time the mechanic saw that one bolt was already broken incase more were to break. They also said that not even the fluid should have been drained incase I wanted to take it somewhere else. Well not me, I was robbed of $700+ dollars and 2 days with no truck for their mistake and believe this was totally unfair on their part. I even asked if there was something that could be worked out on cost and they straight up said NOPE! I do not plan on going back let alone would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more
