I needed an oil change before going on a road trip with my children and was able to purchase a great deal on Groupon. I checked the reviews on Yelp after my purchase and I'm not gonna lie - all the negative reviews had really made me wanted to put in a request for a full refund. I got there at 8:10am on a Saturday morning and there were already about 6 cars in service. I was assisted immediately by a young gentlemen who was very friendly - he even held the doors for me as well as for all the other customers who walked in the door. I was told the oil change would take approximately 30-45 mins and I ended up waiting for about 1.5 hours. Not too bad as I had expected it to take about 2 hours. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, I was thinking of when the manager would come out and try to up sell me on other services or whether they would give me bad service if I were to decline - after all, this was mentioned repeatedly on most of the Yelp reviews. I started to get worried about them charging me $300 for an $80 oil change.... I started to think about how my car may break down or even explode once I'm on the road because so many other customers had complained about the mechanics being negligent or intentionally breaking parts so the car won't run properly.... So many thoughts went through my mind while I was sitting there - you can't blame me for being nervous - it was my first time ever in my entire 4* + years of my life bringing my car in for an oil change, and obviously all those silly reviews didn't help. However .... I'm so glad I didn't ask for a refund for my Groupon purchase and went through with my oil change at Jiffy Lube because all the staffs acted professionally and treated me with such kindness. I was assisted by "Junior" and he did not try to tack on any additional charges or pressuring me into getting any other services. He recommended for me to get my brakes changed soon (my car frequently tells me this as well by its squeaks lol) and due to the great service I had today, I plan on bringing my car back for this location to get my brakes replaced this month. I'm so glad I found this place and will continue to bring my car in for service here, and I recommend for you to do the same. I was told it's walk in only for oil change but appointments are available for other major services. By the way, I got to my destination safely and my car didn't fall apart. :) read more

Where do I begin? Manager Luis Gonzalez, new level of stupid. I went for brake check do to squeaking from my back brakes which they replaced twice in the past year. I had brakes and routers front/ back done 12 months ago, the initial purchase. About 3 weeks later I had to go back because I had grinding noise coming from one of the tires. They replaced everything, saying faulty parts. I paid over $1600 for 24 thousand mile warranty on all the work, so I was told at the time. Replacement seemed fine for months then there it goes again but now screeching ever time stop my jeep. Went in thinking no problem I have warranty which I paid for. First, I had to tell him what work was done cause he never even checked the system to see himself. Then he tells me the routers are not covered even though the warranty clearly says 24,000 miles on the invoice. To make matters worse I only drove 2333 miles since the original work was done. I only drive locally so are you telling me not only are they not covered but they Got that messed up only driving 2333 miles in one year. DEFECTIVE parts I say. After going round and round with Luis he agreed to only charge me labor of $175. Needs to get done so I left my truck and walked home. Luis told me it would be ready in 2 hrs. I walked back to retrieve my Jeep just to have him tell me I tried to call you. Funny my phone never rang. He had an old printout of my service which did not have my number. However when I checked in that day they updated that. He never even looked to see if my number was in the system so he could call me. He just wasted my time. He proceeds to tell me that the parts won't be in for another 3 hours, he wrote down my phone number and I drove home. After receiving the parts are in call, I went back. Luis said it would be ready in about an hour. That was a JOKE. After 1 1/2 they finally pulled it into the bay took the tires off, then WALKED AWAY never to touch it again, classic fake out move. Over 2 1/2 hours later, mind you its now 6:40pm. This all started at 9:45am. No one ever had the courtesy to come tell me anything as I sat in the lobby. Then a sweet young man fresh out of high school comes to apologize and tell me they were just too busy to get to it so I would have to come back in the morning, that it would take about an hour and that they would only charge me $70 for the labor but I would have to return in the morning. Well, back again the next morning. Time 8:49-10:12am, Luis hands me my keys said, "no charge, all done jeep out front." I go to drive out and squeak...... reverse and squeak. I tell the tech and he said all is good I tested it. I told him drive just drive. Pulls forward and back again, SQUEAK!!! Said oh now that sound is coming from the front now not the back, pulled truck back into bay. Not sure what tech did but but in 10 minutes he was done. Probably just WD40. Time will tell. Update: front breaks scream again after 2 days, when they said nothing was wrong with them. Not going back to Jiffylube again. What a waste of money. read more

Came for an oil change was told I'd wait 30min and an additional 10 min if I wanted a tire rotation I agreed to the tire rotation and asked for my cabin air filter to be changed as well an hour later I asked the cashier to charge me before my vehicle was done as I wanted to leave once my vehicle was ready instead of continuing to wait well once the cashier finally decides to charge me after ignoring my request the first time he then asks if I still wanted to add the tire rotation waited a WHOLE HOUR for just an oil change no tire rotation and no air cabin filter replacement this place is a joke don't come here!! Horrible horrible Service! They broke my Audi engine cover and to top it off they did not tighten my engine oil cap! I called and told them and they said they don't touch that , but my cover was not broken and did not have oil and fingerprints of oil on it before I came in. Once I picked up pay ridiculous labor charges for 4 days later the part they placed came off because they didn't secure it properly. Came in to do an oil change on my work truck(fleet), they were trying to upsell me on other stuff that was gonna take hours. I explained to the guy my truck was recently in the shop and they did a full service on it, all I needed was an oil change he kept telling me his record shows that it needed a full service. I explained to him that I don't always bring it to jiffy lube, we also have an account with Valvoline. He basically denied me service, stating the system wouldn't let him just do an oil change because it recommended an other stuff due to high mileage. Went to them requesting service on my transmission and to check my engine. Left spending almost half a grand just for them to tell me they couldn't "fix the problem" yet changed out my transmission sensor.Took it to another mechanic and they charged me less and told me they changed the wrong one and didn't even fix the problem. Never coming back again and definitely don't recommend taking your car here. The manager did not bother to hear my issue and was pretty dismissive on it and said he couldn't reimburse me for their mistake. Don't bring your car here. This place is usually good, but my recent visit was not. I came in for an oil change and was the second car there. I was told it would take 20 minutes. After 30 minutes the young man comes to me and says I need to have my break fluid replaced; at first I declined, but he returned saying that the mechanic strongly recommended it since the fluid was black and corroded. I agreed, but asked first how much longer it would take. The guy said just 15 more minutes...Well, that turned into 50 minutes!They then drove my car around back to the far right and behind another car getting breaks done. I asked if my car was ready, and the guy said no they just completed the oil change, now they're gonna do the brake fluid. I said WHAT!? 80 minutes I waited just for the oil change!?! When I was literally the second car there, my car should've been finished. Well, I walked up to the mechanic who was working on the car in front of my car and demanded my car be serviced. I hate to be that person, but if i hadn't done that I would've been there another damn hour! Additionally, I asked him to explain how he was going to apply the brake fluid. Worst service ever. Took about an hour to get to my car. Then they told met battery wasn't working even though it was working fine before I got there and previous days before that. They were rude about the situation even though I expressed this issue to them. The guy at the desk with glasses basically told it's my problem and to deal with it. They did a further inspection said they added windshield fluid yet nothing was added because it was empty. They inspected my breaks and said they were fine even after I specifically explained my concern with them, I had to go to another shop to get that fixed. Unresponsive unreliable and bad customer service. Today I took in my car to change some headlights and it took almost 2 hours. The first hour they weren't even touching my car. They just moved it to the side and worked on what I saw 5 cars coming in after me and they were getting worked on before mine. It was only when I spoke to one of many of their bad employees to go and tell someone to start working on it. Why does it take 2 hours to fix headlights I brought them in myself ! I just needed the labor. I spoke to their manager and they gave me the run around telling me that the other cars are priority because of they were getting oil changes. What was not okay was that they moved my car from the front of the line to the very end lane and just completely forgot about it. They said they couldn't work on it because they had to move it inside to fix my problem but that was a big fat lie . They kept telling me only specialize workers can work on changing a light bulb which is not true it's fairly easy. They still charged me full price they just said sorry and this job was only supposed to take 15 minutes. I spent 2 hours. Waiting. Bad customer service. Bad management and very unprofessional . Will not come back here ever again. For those employees that will read this , you know who I am. Yes I did make a complaint because this is just outrageous. On Monday December 9 my vehicle was taken into this service center for an oil change approximately at 3:30 pm PST. Also, I requested a brake inspection and the staff was nice about checking. It wasn't until an hour later when they notified me of their findings and went to say they didn't have certain parts for the oil service so it will be delayed as a result. I was ok with waiting, However, as for the brake service I encounter the same problem parts weren't available at this location but I was given a guarantee the parts would arrive before end of business day 7pm PST and the job would be done. So I took the liberty of running some errands and got back at 6:30pm PST when I was notified the vehicle would need to stay over night because a special tool was required, so I agreed to leave the vehicle. Next morning, I call to follow up on my vehicle and was notified it would be ready in 2 hours. Later, I follow up once again only to encounter more issues according to the technician the lug nuts had to be extracted and replaced for an additional cost after I had paid for service in full Monday night with a guarantee the vehicle would be ready first thing in the morning. As a result, I was left with no choice but to agree and get the lug nuts extracted. Around noon I received a call notifying me the service was complete. When I arrived I noticed the brake service light was still on so I asked the staff. Moreover, I noticed the rim had been damaged as a result of the extraction. The store manager later came out to inform me it's just a light and customers tend to ignore them and as for the damages they're not responsible as it was the risk of extracting the lug nuts which I was not informed of prior to agreeing with the extraction. Overall I am highly dissatisfied with the service provided by Jiffy Lube. I will definitely insure none of my vehicles are serviced by Jiffy Lube moving forward and make the community aware of the type of service provide by Jiffy Lube. Now, I am left with more issues post there service and this is the result of making the decision to take my vehicle for the first time to another service center other than BMW. Save your time and money!! This place deserves O stars. I took my car in because the engine light came on, they ran a diagnostic and told me it would cost me $99 to clean the injectors. Once they did that, the car wouldn't turn on so they ran another diagnostic. This time they said it was the coils and spark plugs so it would cost me another $1,385. After this, they told me it was another injector so that would cost me $2,100. At this point, I declined since it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. Then this guy named Jr, the manager, said he was going to reduce the price to $1,392 so my husband and I agreed to proceed. They had my car all day and when I picked it up they told me the job had a 1 year/ 12,000 mile warranty. However, on my way home the engine light came back on. Every time I go back (5 times to be exact), they give me excuses, and they are refusing to give me money back. I will be taking to small claims because this is ridiculous. Would definitely not come here again, they said it would cost extra for each quart so I said only put the 5 quarts. When it was time to pay they said it was around 7 quarts and charged me for those quarts, when asked to talk to a manager they said he wasn't around. I only came to jiffy lube because I'm going on a emergency trip out of town or else I would of gone to the dealership where they only charge me 50 bucks for an oil change. I ended paying over 140 dollars for a oil change and that's even with a Groupon deal. Honestly a bad experience overall. read more
