Save your time and money!! This place deserves O stars. I took my car in because the engine light came on, they ran a diagnostic and told me it would cost me $99 to clean the injectors. Once they did that, the car wouldn't turn on so they ran another diagnostic. This time they said it was the coils and spark plugs so it would cost me another $1,385. After this, they told me it was another injector so that would cost me $2,100. At this point, I declined since it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. Then this guy named Jr, the manager, said he was going to reduce the price to $1,392 so my husband and I agreed to proceed. They had my car all day and when I picked it up they told me the job had a 1 year/ 12,000 mile warranty. However, on my way home the engine light came back on. Every time I go back (5 times to be exact), they give me excuses, and they are refusing to give me money back. I will be taking to small claims because this is ridiculous. We got SCAMMED!!! I am utterly disgusted and very upset to have found out today while getting an oil change that they never switched out my air filter !!! These people working here along with the manager pressured me into getting a new air filter for my Honda and I ended up agreeing. I come to find out today it was never replaced. This place did an oil change in September but never even reset the oil change timer. Which begs the question what other things they didn't do . Not only did they service my car but also my truck. I'm concerned and it raises red flags as to what else could they have not done . I lost my complete trust !!! I will be reporting this location to the better business bureau !! Would definitely not come here again, they said it would cost extra for each quart so I said only put the 5 quarts. When it was time to pay they said it was around 7 quarts and charged me for those quarts, when asked to talk to a manager they said he wasn't around. Don't even bother trying to use a groupon. They shouldn't even be partnered with them. They tried to scam me. I'm pretty sure because I am a female and Junior thought I was just going to let him scam me. He tried telling me that I needed to purchase the groupon 24hrs before my visit. I looked EVERYWHERE online to find something supporting what he was telling me and I could not find that print anywhere. I told him there's no fine print that says that. My husband was able to purchase his groupon right before his visit last time and they didn't tell him anything. Junior kept telling me he couldn't find my husbands e-mail, he couldn't find the code (even though I saw my husband's information on the daily oil change log), etc. All of a sudden at the end he said he found it but the deal was for a Full Synthetic change and I had gotten a Synthetic Blend so they could not honor the deal. I have to try to refund my groupon now and pray it goes through because it's $70 spent on absolutely nothing. Definitely won't be coming here ever again. It makes sense since most of their reviews are about scamming people. Someone should definitely try getting this location inspected legally. One star too many. Called ahead to check the price of an oil change, the guy on the phone quoted me $49.99. 15 minutes later i was there ready for my oil change. Sat in my car waiting for help. took a while even though they weren't busy, then this "gent" who seemed like he just woke up from a sugar coma came waddling asking what i needed. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by not coming here. They never did my oil change and when I came back to get refunded, the guy still tried to convince me twice that my oil level was full. It wasn't until I had to check the dipstick myself in front of him that my oil level was actually measuring below the first dot. You'd think he'd stop there but then he started saying how some cars burn oil faster than others or that I could possibly have an oil leak. Went for a simple oil change. Most jiffy lubes do not have the oil drain caps that my car requires so I was forced to go to this one. After a week I realized that there was some oil leaking from my car. After getting the drain cap replaced from a non jiffy lube service center, I realized that they gave me a faulty cap that forced me to add more oil as well as get service for the cap itself. read more

Went in to get an oil change. When I first got there I asked the attendant which is also the person that did my oil change I had a groupon for an oil change. I asked him numerous times can they honor the price that it stated on the Groupon. He read the details and told me yes we can just show it inside. When the oil changed was finished I asked him again and he said yes just show it inside to pay. When I went inside, the price was hiked up and was told that it was not applicable to me. When I explained that the gentleman outside read it and lead me to believe that i was. He guys inside did not care all he kept reacting was the price he wanted me to pay. He wouldn't even go and talk to his employee. He said you already got your oil change so that's what you owe. This was a horrible bait and switch. read more

As a Franchise company I know it's expensive and you pay for what you get! But they over charge and I don't think it's fair! I've been there a few times already and just by them tellIng me I need so much crap done to my car is insane they want to charge me an arm and a leg. I took my car in for a brake inspection and it was suggested that I have my radiator fluid drained and replaced. Tje very next day my car started to overheat. I went back and was advised it was low on fluid. How could that be? I just have drove no more than 10 miles since it was serviced. Jiffy added coolent. Today, which is three days after the initial service, my radiator started leaking. In the 14 years I had my vehicle I have never seen so much loss of coolent. Jiffy Lube Manager: Alex Acosta Alamitos Enterprises Director of Operations (Alex Acosta's Boss): Luis Peralta I went to this location as I happened to be running errands in the general area. I had been going to Jiffy Lube locations for over 5 years now for general maintenance services. On this day one of the employees changing my battery did not assemble my car back properly afterwards which resulted in the hood of my car not being able to close. I also felt the "energy of" I wasn't really welcome their and was being looked at with stares of suspicion/ distain. I immediately recognized that I was the only African American at the location including staff and other customers. Growing up in America in my particular position in life, it's often quite common to notice when your not really welcome and common courtesy is being extended in duress. It's particularly sad when this experience is being actioned against me by another oppressed minority group. In this instance the offending minority appeared to be of latin descent. Specifically all male Latin men working at this location at the time I arrived. Upon me pointing out my car was visibly not put together properly and insisting that it be dis- assembled and repaired properly, there was an immediate energy of irritation, and fear in the atmosphere coming from a few of the employees. Another employee who I later learned was the manager, I asked to stay with the guy trying to fix the problem because he obviously needed help. After asking the manager to stay and help the guy repair the car properly, I could tell that my presence was making the employee fixing the car nervous and figured maybe he was afraid for his job. I decided to leave and get food, then return so that my car could be fixed without all the high tension in that space. Upon returning with my food, they were still repairing the car. Once it was finally fixed, I was all ready to gather things and go on with the rest of my day until the manager approaches me, stating that my car hood was broken when I arrived and he had it on camera!!! I was immediately angry at the bold faced lie and attempt to cover up the improper service that was provided. He then convinced me to come inside and view the footage he had but proceeded to show me nothing; instead told me the employee that improperly reassembled my car felt like I was blaming him for the problem! I angrily asked him, well who is responsible for it then! Obviously you have all conspired to say that it's me... and that the hood of my car was broken when I first arrived. He then slightly leaned in towards me saying, " I hope you understand what I'm telling you". Which felt like a warning that yes, that would be the narrative should I decide to report what had happened and my experience at Jiffy Lube!!!! I will stop right there with the story and state for the record... 1. All people have some kind of bias or prejudice towards others sharing similar traits, but it's when you exercise these prejudices into actions that disenfranchise that particular group is when it becomes racism and it's illegal, extremely frustrating, vile and ugly! 2. I had been going to Jiffy Lube for several years and had fairly pleasant experiences. So I allowed for the error to be corrected and intended to go on with my day as long as I was made whole again. Despite the other unspoken language being communication towards me that I was not really welcome and their was some underlying disgust associated with my presence there. 3. Once their prejudices towards me escalated to blatant disregard towards me and my perceived rights as a paying customer, decent human being. I became extremely upset and that's what fuels me to not only write this post of my experience, but pursue other means of resolution! The audacity and boldness of events that occurred definitely rings familiar in an environment of systematic disenfranchisement and discrimination coming from somewhere at the top down. The worst jiffy I've been too. I went to get my tail light bulb changed and brought the light bulb and they told me to park and leave my keys in the car. They said it would be quick. It wasn't I was there for an hour and a half and then they announced it's lunch and it would be another hour wait. I couldn't take it so I went to my car and my keys were just sitting there and someone could've taken my car. As I got in my car they didn't even question me or stop me from leaving, they did not care at all. All of them had bad attitudes and one of them was hungover and didn't want to work.
