If you enjoy sitting in the bay for almost an hour and a half (for just an oil change) listening to Keith yell at and berate Ian while the other workers yell profanities and argue loudly about where to get lunch (hmmm McDonald's or Subway?), then this is your place. Additionally, when we asked when the job was going to wrap up, we were told that they didn't have our oil filter and it was on the way from another location...so if you're a masochist that rather enjoys listening to Disney tunes in lieu of proper communication that there was an issue, again, go see Keith. THE worst service I've possibly ever received..EVER. I went in to get an oil change because I was on the Bellingham area. When I pulled up, a mechanic with glasses and curly hair smiled at me and said he would do it even though they were 15 minutes from closing. So I parked my car at the garage and went into the waiting room. After five or so minutes of sitting there on my phone, he came in and asked if I'd ever been to a jiffy lube before. I couldn't remember if I had or not, so I responded "I'm not too sure". He gave me a weird look and proceeded back to the garage. About thirty seconds later I heard him yelling about something directed towards me. I stood up and walked to the door connecting to lobby to the garage and could hear him say "will you go tell him his keys won't work? Because I really don't like him." We spoke twice. The other mechanic came over to me and before he could say I anything I told him that I could hear everything they were saying. His look was priceless, he could barely muster up anything to say as he mumbled out "I'm sorry sir, I can't control how he feels." I lol'd. Got my keys, shot him the bird and got out of there. I went in recently to get my oil changed and I did not have a great experience here at all. They asked if i'd like my filters replaced if they were due, I said "no" and they replaced them anyways. While they probably needed to be replaced, they didn't even show me my old filters to prove they were bad. It was also so overpriced and the customer service was subpar... read more

My usual go to for an oil change. Employees are polite and efficient. Service is quick and there are usually coupons posted on the site.

They failed to re-assembly the glove box, which they took apart to get me to buy a "in car air filter" which installs behind it. I noticed it after they gave my car back to me. It took them 20 minutes to put it back together and get me on the road. Twenty minutes after leaving their shop, my instrument panel lights flash off, then back on. Never saw that before. Did it about 5 to 10 times in next two weeks. Then died on the highway. Cost me $800 to have the alternator and computer module replaced. Thanks Jiffy Lube. read more

I previously went to the Jiffy Lube on Meridian and had an awful experience and documented it on their Yelp page. In response, Jiffy Lube sent me a 50% voucher if I would come again for my next oil change. We took my boyfriends car to this location instead of the Meridian one and wow, what a difference! The staff here saw our voucher and asked about our experience and apologized on behalf of the other location as I was not the first person this week (yes, this week!) who had a sour time at Meridian specifically because of how their staff is trained to up-sell and avoid taking discounts, even when brought in via coupon. We were helped by Chad who walked through our review at a normal speed (the other location raced through and didn't explain anything) and gave suggestions and insight on some vehicular things beyond the oil change that we could invest in and gave recommendations for local businesses in case we weren't comfortable coming back. The staff here was so different from the other office and I highly recommend them! If you're looking for an oil change and thinking of Jiffy Lube, definitely go to this location and avoid the Meridian one at all costs! read more

This place is a serious joke for automotive care. I had a similar experience to others. Dropped my car off to empty bays, they said it would be 35 minutes or so and when I returned an hour later (after breakfast at Arliss's -awesome) they hadn't started on my truck yet. Stopped in to Jiffy Lube because the sensor on my van said the oil was too high after getting our oil changed the day before (not at a Jiffy Lube). George, the general manager, was extremely friendly and helpful, helping us out right away with siphoning the excess oil out and explaining the entire situation to us. I have not gone to this Jiffy Lube ever. I pulled up and was greeted to ask what was needed. I was offered the different tiers of service. They gave me the time and the price and said they would call me for anything else. I get a phone call letting me know what needed replacing and the price. It WAS NOT aggressive at all. They merely suggested and recommended. It WAS MY choice! They gave me a quote, time, and price. Time took longer than expected BUT they did provide me WITH a FREE BRAKE INSPECTION to compensate me for my time. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was the slight miscommunication with the brake fluid which the person in charge took care of immediately! No problems with this Jiffy Lube at all! read more

I go here for every oil change. The staff are all EXTREMELY polite, work quickly and explain thoroughly the answers to my questions. If you go in the mornings there is never a wait, so I am in and out within a half hour for the standard oil change (which is a low price). Took my NEW 2015 Subaru Impreza in for service 2 weeks ago for an oil change. 4 hours after I got my oil changed my timing belt broke while I was on the freeway... get my car towed to the nearest Subaru dealership in Seattle and they tell me that whoever changed my oil messed up my head gaskets....so now my head gaskets are screwed, my Car is over heating now... don't get me wrong, the guys were very nice but obviously they had no idea what they were doing. While the wait time at this Jiffy Lube is about average for an oil change in comparison to other businesses I've been to, the aggressive up-selling they practice is a serious issue for unwary customers. During my check-in for service, I was notified of a 'special offer' regarding radiator servicing: I could save a whole 50.00 off for flushing my radiator today! I declined this 'special offer' and proceeded to sit in the foyer of the building. While waiting, one of the technicians came up to me with a test he had ostensibly ran on my radiator and started speaking in car jargon while (sounding quite genuine) stating that he really didn't care if I got my radiator serviced there, as long as I do it somewhere, ASAP. Later that same afternoon, I went to Dan's Automotive (http://www.yelp.com/biz/dans-automotive-bellingham) requesting an inspection (given for free) for a tune-up and notified the technicians about the comments I received concerning my radiator earlier that morning. After a thorough inspection, I was notified that not only was radiator servicing not necessary, but everything concerning my radiator was operating perfectly fine. Put simply, avoid these large businesses and read reviews! It can potentially save yourself hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of dollars! I've learned from my lesson and I don't plan to do business at Jiffy Lube any longer. read more

My first trip to this location wasn't great. I wanted an oil change, which they did, and did it well, as well as you can do an oil change, and then were relentless on the upsell. Would you like a radiator flush, did you want your wiper blades replaced, you have a brake light out, would you like us to fix that, on and on. Their price wasn't that great, there's always something that I need, (in my 4 cylinder toyota pickup) that makes the price more than what they advertise. Thanks to a Groupon deal, I made my second trip to this location today. The guy came out to the car and said, we have a couple of people ahead of you, it'll be about 30 minutes. Since I work a few blocks away, I said... no problem, I can walk to work from here. He said.. has this car been to Jiffy Lube before? I said no.. he said, we require you to be here for check-in if it's the first time your car has been here. I've had a lot of oil changes, some I had to make appointments for, some just walked in and dropped the car, but I've never heard of waiting until they were done with the car before you so you could check in.. . Sorta takes the "jiffy" out of it. I didn't really care how long they had the car, but it's the middle of the work day, I don't have an extra 30 minutes to sit and wait for them to finish another car. I asked why, and he said, well, we need to go over all the recommendations for your particular vehicle, (read "upsell you stuff you didn't even know you didn't want). So we went away again. . As far as I know, an oil change isn't difficult to do, especially if you have the right tools, and a full shop to do it in. I usually go to one of the local places, who also do a good job, and may even require an appointment, but are usually $25 less out the door, because they stick to their advertised price. Once this groupon is used, I'll be going back to one of the many local shops to get my oil changed. read more

During a Washington State mandate that everyone in public spaces wear masks in order to reduce the community spread of a deadly virus, I called ahead to confirm that the mechanics at this business wear masks. Whoever answered the phone assured me that yes they all wear masks. When I arrived, one of the three mechanics were wearing masks and none of the customers. I told the mask-wearing mechanic that I had called ahead of time to confirm that the workers would be wearing masks, was told they would, and clearly that's not the case. I don't want to blame the workers here, or the manager, but the institution itself, its local and national ownership. There were no masks there for the workers, and clearly they were not encouraged to wear them or to ask their customers to wear them. This endangers everyone involved, especially the workers, when we know from scientists that mask-wearing reduces spread by 80%+. This is unacceptable. I left immediately and will not return, even after the pandemic is over. I went to Master Lube Oil Change Center on Maple Street where all three of their workers were wearing masks. read more
