They opened doors for me, referred to me as ma'am or miss, and gave me nothing but smiles and polite demeanors. Just moved here from jersey and was getting everything transferred to pa. I have always used jiffy lube in Jersey as I have always enjoyed the service. AT THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION I HAVE NOT! The mechanics are far from customer service oriented and treat as if you are just another number. Went there twice to get my inspection completed and both times they were not able to do so because they either didn't have stickers or they were short staffed, even though I called prior to make sure they were going to be able to service my car. SO instead I highly recommend that everyone take the extra drive and go to PEP BOYS on street rd. NOT only did they inspect my car right away, but the service itself was cheaper by about 40 dollars. PEP BOYS ARE VERY CUSTOMER ORIENTED AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. read more

Got an oil change here, service was OK. I was told to come back for brake pads since apparently they needed to be replaced. I went back a few weeks later and after about 1hr 30mins of waiting was told my breaks are actually fine and don't need to be replaced. Waited about 30 more minutes for them to put everything back and get going then I'm told they broke a stud for one of my rims to come back the next day to get it replaced. I think not. I take the "jiffy" part of your name very seriously. The reason I go to a JiffyLube is to get in and out within a reasonable amount of time and get on with my day. But this is third time in a row where I have had to wait at LEAST fifty minutes, if not more, to get my car serviced. And during all three of these occasions, the service center was not particularly busy. There were, maybe, two or three other cars there at the time of my arrival. And I should point out that I am not getting a lot of services done. It's usually a simple oil change, MAYBE a new air filter. It is utterly ridiculous that this should take almost an hour, sometimes more. I have other things to do during the course of a day. I have family. I have work. I have other errands to run. I don't go to JiffyLube so I can spend an hour sitting in the waiting room. In the future I will be looking for a new company to service my car. read more

Went in for a simple oil change everything seemed ok they tried to make me buy a whole bunch of unnecessary services but that's normal. When I left the parking lot I had noticed a strange sound. I was on the toll road and the first chance I had to get off I pulled into a gas station. My tire had burst. Never had a problem before but after this Jiffy Lube had their way with it... I called the manager asking what he intended to do. He admitted they had adjusted my tire pressure, but it couldn't have been their fault. When when I said that wasn't acceptable, he told me to call a 1-800 number for their Customer service. So I write this review stuck at a gas station waiting for roadside assistance, waiting to drive to a tire shop, and missing my son's first birthday. I had to tell my wife I'll be home late because a simple oil change was royally fouled up by people unable to own up to their mistakes. Can't say I'd recommend this place. read more

i have no idea why this place has such negative reviews on yelp. i've been going to jiffy lube for a long while now at the 2266 street road location in Bensalem. i go here because i know my car is going to be handled with car and done right the first time. ive gone to multiple "specialty" shops previously and none of them come remotely close to the service these guys offer. one tech, alex, is one of the most stand up mechanics i've met. he's honest and respectful and has an extraordinary amount of knowledge stored in his head when it comes to automobiles. i guess when it comes to reviews, people never really share the good service experiences like they do bad ones. i live almost 45 minutes away, and i'd never go anywhere else with any of my vehicles. thanks for all your quick reliable service, 2266 street rd jiffy lube! read more

Went in for oil and filter change only. My car was perfect before going there. About 3hrs later my car was over heating and leaking anti freeze! They actually noticed it while I was art the jiffy lube but never said anything. Let me drive off, clue less. Almost ruining my engine. We're rude as hell when I went back. Of course i was angry, yelling, cursing. Got into argument with 2 of the dudes working there, one took me to see him across the street, the other said he's going to blow my car up! Asked for my money back. Manager, was quiet but not controlling the situation. He even admitted to telling an employee that my car was leaking anti freeze, but employee didn't. Well originally I thought I made out with a quick, affordable, professional oil change. Little did I know it was not done properly. My oil filter was left loose and I had oil dripping all over my starter and a few other parts. It went on for months before I realized it. By the time I fixed the problem myself, my starter was in pretty bad shape. It lasted about 1 month after I fixed the problem. After replacing my starter I still had damage and issues with other parts. I went to my regular mechanic who quoted me at a price that was nearly as much as my car was worth. So with that I decided to get rid of my 2004 Ford Taurus with only 65K miles. Who knows how much more life I would have gotten out of the car had Jiffy Lube tightened my oil filter before returning my car. If they can't handle a simple oil change, I certainly wouldn't trust them with anything else (like the transmission tune up they tried to sell me)! read more

First, this place is a total ripoff. It is twice as much as most oil changes I have gotten. You walk in and they pounce on you like hungry jackals, assuring you good work....but that is not what they give you. Actually, I thought it was a joke, because the guy who came over to talk to me had one of the worst shuddering problems I have ever heard. I am not one to chuckle at speech impediments (yes, I am), but you should have a clear speaking employee do the initial "howdayado". They tried to sell me a bunch of crap I didn't need. They promise a "fluid top-off" included in the price, then tried to get me for a $12 charge for a few ounces of coolant. I realize I am coming off like a cheap bastard, but I assure I am not. The final straw was when I went to get my next oil change (at a different garage, obviously) they told me the last place (this infernal hell-hole Jiffy Lube) put the wrong oil filter on my car. I have been coming to this facility for about 10 years and have used Jiffy Lube to do all manufacturer's recommended maintenance. it has paid off over the years as I have had little problems with my vehicle. Although the staff has turned over several times since I have been going, I have typically been happy with the teams work.... Until recently... I went to them for a state inspection. they failed it for a few light bulbs and brakes. The inspector was absolutely right, no issue there. However, rather then pay them to fix it, I exercised my right to complete repairs myself. When I brought my vehicle back to get inspected, after 10 minutes of standing there waiting for the employee to acknowledge that I was there waiting, another employee approached asking if I had been helped. After I said no, he went to talk the inspector and he told him he would not inspect my car stating it must be done by the person that looked at it in the first place siting regulatory requirements. Somehow this guy knew that I had seen the other employee, just from looking at my car from15 ft away? Never even looked at my information. Never came out to discuss with me, not even acknowledging that I was there. The manager tried to talk with him, and he just kept saying Nope... as he walked away. I knew this was wrong and went home and confirmed I was correct. ANY inspector must do a complete re-inspection when you come back. Therefore, it is irrelevant who did the first inspection. My suspicion is that they were mad that I did not allow them to do the repair work and now they are going to make me pay. That is illegal. Very unhappy with the treatment I received after being a loyal customer, recommending their services to my children and others. NOT RIGHT!!!. read more

Did notice how the man handling the transaction offered that the gentleman cashing out could come back and get fluids topped off for free, except coolant, any time before next scheduled oil change. When I checked out, he did not offer this service to me. I asked him about it. My Yelp10 dollar coupon did not work, but he did give me another coupon. Have been going to Bensalem jiffy lube for years and never had a problem. Two oil changes ago my husband was the one that took my car. He mentioned a girl working that looked like she was on drugs, whatever, I never noticed before, not my business. The next time I had my oil changed everything was good. But the next day I noticed the metal cover that bolts over the oil filter location was hanging and scraping the ground. No big deal, there's supposed to be 2 bolts holding it on and there was only one. I assumed jiffy lube misplaced it, no big deal. I couldn't find a bolt that matched the threading so I removed the cover. Fast forward a few months (we got a new vehicle and my truck actually had an oil leak so it sat for 3 months) when I went today I had the metal cover with me, explained what happened and asked the technician (Nicollette) if she could put it back on. It's really just 2 screws and not a big deal at all whatsoever. She was not happy and looked at me like I had 10 heads but took the cover n walked back into the garage. I could literally see her talking crap about it to coworkers thru the window! She eventually comes back in and tells me this part doesn't go to my car. Lol I said yes it does bc I took it off myself and I can show you where it goes. She yells out to someone, argues with me some more and goes back out to garage. 20 minutes later comes back and says the oil filter isn't theirs so someone else did my last oil change. I explained to her that the car sat for 3 months, my mechanic fixed an oil leak (which explains the non jiffy lube filter) but the cover was not on there when I took my truck to my mechanic bc I took it off a day after they changed my oil in June! Regardless, what is the problem?! It's 2 bolts and I'm not mad you lost one, just forget it, obviously customer service has already gone far out the window 45 minutes ago so I'm done arguing especially over 2 bolts! But I was sure to ask if the part she claimed doesn't belong on my truck does In fact go to my vehicle lol She paused, finally said yes, and walked away. No apology, no offer to recommend where to get the 3 cent bolt or what kind it is. Nothing. The waiting room was full and other customers said she's always rude. I believe it. She was rude before I even opened my mouth about the stupid cover! I have serviced this vehicle alone 9 times since 03/2015 (thanks to the service history section on my receipt) not to mention services on other vehicles, but I can promise you I will not be returning to this location again. I'll drive the extra 5 minutes up Street Rd to another location. It's a shame bc the guy who always greets you (he has dreadlocks might be Maleek) is very nice. But if that's the way your treated over the most minimal problem, I can only imagine how I'd be treated if I had a real problem! I went here this afternoon to try and get an oil change. I've never been to a Jiffy Lube before but I figured I would give it a chance because my mom mentioned it. My mom and I pull up with two separate cars, a man approaches her vehicle and ask what service did we need today. She told him I needed an oil change and he told me to drive around back. I pull around back and ask him to give me a minute before he pulls my car in because I want to check the prices and make sure of what I want. They did not wait. Within a matter of 2 minutes my car is in, they are checking the lights, they have my hood open about to begin the oil change. Not only did I ask them to wait but my mom did as well, twice. We were still trying to figure things out! Everything was so rushed that we just told them to stop, we didn't want their service anymore and we left. It wasn't like there were other cars, I was the only one so I wasn't understanding what the hurry was. The manager was also pretty rude!
