Great service. I went in for an oil change. I was given a cold bottle of water as soon as in pulled in. I did not have to remove myself from the car to get service. All staff was very professional, polite and explained everything before service was given. I would return and refer others. DANGEROUS AND INCOMPETENT! If you went here recently check your tire pressures. Brought in a small car Lexus UX250h. They filled my tires to 40 PSI (on the receipt). The label on the car door says 33psi and when I asked them why they filled them so high they said because it's winter. I asked them to change them all to back to 33 and they changed them to 36 and 50 (per the TPMS). I had to physically get out and check their gauge on each tire. But here is the crazy thing... One of their hoses or gauges is obviously set wrong or not working because my car says right side is actually 49 psi. I went to the Wawa and confirmed and adjusted all of the air pressures I was informed by the so-called manager that Take 5 corporate policy is to over inflate tires by 3 PSI. Which is obviously not the case. Overinflating tires to this degree is extremely dangerous in the winter for cold weather traction. All together bad for tire wear and not for guys with zero training to choose arbitrarily. read more

Was out in 15 minutes without much hassle. Only objection was they tried to slide a $5 fee for looking over car and disposal of oil and filter. When I reviewed the pricing that is displayed prominently, there is no mention of any extra fee. They just add it to your bill at the end, unless you are alert to what the bill with tax should be. They seem to have been prepared for people who figure this out, as the employee said he would do me a "favor" and take cost off. read more

Wonderful experience! Very nice cordial employees. Very efficient oil change! Prices are a little higher however, for the quick time you're in and out of there it is well worth it. I much rather pay a higher amount and stay in my own car for 15 minutes, with nice friendly employees, versus sitting at the dealership for hours and hours with loud people & screaming kids! And the guys checked everything off their list by reading from the list, checking it on my car and actually saying it out loud....actually, I'm a nurse and I used to work in the operating room. And what these guys did is also done in surgery when you want to make sure things are done right. So they were awesome and so quick ! I went to have oil and fluids changed on July 9th incompetent worker left skid plate without 1 bolt, oil filter was not secured properly, oil drain plug was overtightened and broke seal and 13mm top was mangled therefore cause an oil leak, oil all in driveway had Triple A tow car to shop, new oil filter new oil drain plug, new oil change, but the tee hee is I spoke with manager Montrell Sr. () He assured me this situation will be rectified today made several attempts to reach out to him, he's been ducking me since 7am. I IMPLORE NO ONE VISIT THIS SPOT AND GET NOTHING DONE. These jokers charged me for a high mileage oil change and didn't have my oil filter @ the time so therefore I should not have paid nothing, other shop said they didn't even change the oil they put oil on top of oil and that's why my car was smoking I thought car was on fire. This Take 5 shop are a bunch of LAMES and when I pull up I'll tell it to all their faces. Montrell SR. you owe $170.00 dollars. Jeronimo, Lee, and Johana provided friendly service, thorough communication as they walked through each step of the oil change, explained the service as they checked the tires, fluids, and filters. They were honest and professional. I was provided a coupon for being either teacher, student, or military/veteran. I was in and out quickly; yet, I felt like everything was done properly. They double checked everything based on the make and model of my car to make sure I was getting the correct oil. I would definitely recommend and definitely return. The staff also explained some great perks for stopping back in before 3000 miles. They even cleaned the windshields at the end! Nicest experience at an oil change place! read more

This might be the worst-run business/corporation I've ever seen. I've gone here twice before- mostly for the convenience and price. The GM is always there working hard- I say hard because I don't think he/they work smart. He is usually running around frantically trying to put out fires and keep the cars moving. Both of my prior visits exceeded the time that I would have spent at Valovine. That being said it takes LONGER to get into Valvoline than it usually does here (which was a convenience) but Valvoline is a much more professional and well-running service- not even close. I chalked a lot of the minor problems up it being a newer shop and decided to keep coming. This visit I waited over 50 minutes, moved to TWO different bays on opposite ends to be moved back, and finally sat inside for over another 10 minutes. In the meanwhile a car that arrived AFTER me stayed in his lane and was being serviced BEFORE I even gained entry. Finally, I got out of my car and closed my own hood and left- as I was leaving I decided to go back and see the hard-working GM. As I approached another tech came up to me and I asked him to get the manager for me. He said "I am the manager" so I said then get me the owner and described him and pointed over towards him. The tech then became indignant and said "I'm the manager! So now we start going back and forth and the GM comes over- (I feel I had a decent relationship with him-hence why I wanted to talk to him). Finally, the manager and I start talking and the tech walks away all mad and waves/flags his hands in disgust at me! I said, "Excuse me is there a problem?" Again he flags me off and the GM sees it- I start getting loud and say- "Are you seeing this? Is this how your employees treat their customers?" All the while he's apologizing and offering a free oil change, then another "manager or owner then walks up and says what's going on? The GM responds (the tech's name) is being an asshole again..... AGAIN?" So this is common practice and accepted? I left a message for Take 5 corporate- 2 weeks later- NOTHING. I called and asked why hasn't my email/message had been investigated. Corporate- "We let our private franchises investigate their own complaints". I ask- if I have a problem with the owner- corporate just doesn't care how their "NAME/PRODUCT" is being sold. "I'm just a switchboard operator- do you want their info? I asked is there no district manager or corporate person that cares about how their stores are being run? "No". I just can't believe that there is nowhere to go to have your issues addressed so I guess I'll just keep sharing this to any many people as possible until they DO CARE! BTW- after the way the tech was acting I WOULD NEVER EVER let him near my car!!!!! I worried before when they all ran around hap-hazardly that they might forget a seal, cap or use the wrong oil....now I'm gonna let a guy who was all but flipping me off change my oil? read more

I went here March 7th for 1st time.i was very happy I did. These guys are the real deal in customer service. They have a no charge check and fill fluid service that a person may use anytime between oil changes. Well needless to say ...I was curious to take advantage of this FREE service ..yes I said free. I went back Mar 21 to try it out bcuz I was headed to cape may for weekend and wanted the car checked. I did not think it possible for these guys to perform any better than original service I recvd. Which was incredibly awesome. Boy was I dead wrong in that assumption. I pulled up they got me in right away..it was such a great thing. I felt like I was pulling into my driveway and these great guys happened to be there. It was that comfy of a visit. The great young guy who was the QB today was great. I was waiting for him to hand me the remote control to my TV. ( meaning I felt like I was at home). If you are actually an individual who believes in preventive maintenance on your car THESE ARE THE GUYS FOR THE JOB. Cannot wait to go back and have oil changed. I was also informed there will be no bloody Mary's given away...but they are going to hopefully have food trucks on certain days ...oil change and access to food truck wtf. I might have to buy another car just so I can go there more often. ALL kidding aside IF you do not get your car serviced here your car and you are not going to get along very well.
