Worst mechanic I've ever had in my life. Please stay far away from anything but an oil change here. After Jiffy Lube installed new pads and rotors on my vehicle, I had an inspection done a few months later by another reputable mechanic. They said incorrect sizes on the front and suggested I go back to Jiffy Lube to have them replace it. The mechanic is a rude, arrogant, stubborn human who is not knowledgeable in his trade. He refused to compare the specs of the parts that were originally installed by Jiffy Lube with OEM spec of the vehicle. He instead insisted it was that my brakes need bled. He "bled" the brakes and came out worse than when I brought it in. Taking my car to the dealership now after wasting my morning. Again, DO NOT LET THIS MECHANIC TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE. UPDATE: SUBARU CONFIRMED THAT THE INCORRECT SIZES WERE INSTALLED. The Jiffy Lube mechanic lied and said he checked that sizes were correct the last time we were in. This negligence could have caused irreparable damage to my vehicle and potentially is life threatening in the event of failure. I warn all that go in here. I was driving home to Long Beach CA, I opened glove box and realized it was hanging half off and it fell off completely after I tried to close it. I go to Jiffy Lube for a quick easy and friendly service. This was my first time at this particular location as I had just moved to Northern California. The service was abysmal. The mechanic who worked on my car was incredibly disrespectful and mean. I called him out on. It asked him why he was being so mean to me when I hadn't done anything to him, but be kind. Today I had my Promaster van serviced by 2 different places with 2 completely different results. Jiffy Lube took in my large Promaster Axion Van with no problem and checked the lights and the tires and the liquid and changed the oil. At the same time they washed the windows and vacuumed the van. All with a smile. I will rely on Jiffy Lube in the future. The Dodge dealership in Richmond did the opposite. They even commented the oil was low and dark but would not change it or too it off. I have come here for years when it was a pleasure but now things are so different that I decide never to come again: One staff was smoking on the back and did not even bother to put off his cigarette when I drove in. The second staff appeared to be teaching a third guy. He gave me unclear instructions, so I asked him to clarify. He then turned to his apprentice and said, "if anyone argues just refuse them our service." I heard that so explained I was not sure what to do. I need to clarify. He gave me other "instructions", abruptly and condescendingly. While I fumbled to follow and declared "give me a moment. This is my wife's car. They poured oil from a bucket through a funnel to refill the car oil reservoir. They did not vacuum, clean windows or anything beyond the oil change. They failed to properly replace the skid plate under the engine so that 40 miles down the interstate it dropped and started dragging on the concrete. Fortunately I was able to get it repaired. I am a new Jiffy Lube user so did not know anything about a different levels of service. I came in asking for an oil change for my Toyota Prius. No one talk to me about levels of service for oil changes. I assumed I was getting a basic oil change. A man showed me air filters from my car. One had leaves and dust on it while the other was fairly clean. I told him I would replace the dirtier one and not the other one. When I got my bill, I was charged for a super oil change at $109 as opposed to the basic oil change for $54. I was charged for the replacement of two oil filters even though I had had not asked for the second one. When I complained, the cashier told me he would take $24 off my bill. That left me paying five dollars for the oil filter I had not asked for. I and he apologized for no one talking to me about what kind of oil change as I wanted, but that was water under the bridge. He offered to take out the new oil filter and rummage in the garbage can for my old oil filter. In Exasperation I said, "let it be". After waiting and didn't receive any direction (there are no signs or instructions) I left. After about half an hour they opened the other two bays and then we were waiting in the bay for over an hour with no AC and 5 or 6 guys just milling about like they had nothing to do. When I was presented with a bill for over $200 for an oil change I inquired why the took it upon themselves to install a cabin filter, air filter and some other misc service. There was a lady behind me and he help her first. I was a client at this place. I'll never going to give business to them again. Uber inspection is paid they weren't doing me a favor. They had the three stations busy when I got there two of them got open and they put the lady in one of them and left the middle one one with no one, I had to wait until the third one was done to be helped. The lady left the station and I continued there waiting, very poor service. UBER DRIVERS IF YOU CAN PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE they will put you to back of the line. And also Uber ask for registration, driver license and insurance and they didn't ask for none of that.
