This was my first time at this particular Jiffy Lube (Blue Springs 7 Hwy). I met Israel and Oscar (Service Reps.). They both did an outstanding job on my vehicle as well as to explain everything they saw a need to be serviced. They informed me that an oil change was not needed at this time but then showed me that my cabin and air filters required replacement. They completed the job thoroughly. so the messages on my receipt go online and leave us a review. Well okay early on July 4th I was out shopping for Birthday flowers it was early and I needed an oil change. so I wiped in to have have my oil change. dang you A.D.D. within five minutes I knew I had messed up. The Tech ? placed the old air filter across the positive and negative battery shorting out the system and welding the air filters metal mesh to the battery. After some assistance he was able to remove the air filter from the battery. Once my vehicle was ready for start up it took several attempts to start once started every light on the dash was on. Turns out the fusible link was shorted out. The kicker here is that we called the O'Reillys up the street from the business and three hours later I finally got my part we put it on and it worked. All the lights were off and I went on my merry way missing out on a large part of my daughters birthday morning. (learning lessons from bad choices) The next day and several attempts to contact corporate with absolutely no luck, and with all my lights back on I called the store and was told they would come to my home? No thank you! How about a mechanic shop. I could be wrong but I'm not sure how many master mechanics jiffy lube has. I will say all the guys were nice, professional, and apologetic with the manager coming in on his day off. Nevertheless, I'm quite saddened by this whole experience and currently I'm driving a truck that's not in the shape it was when I arrive. Paid $115 for an oil change yesterday. Supposedly this is supposed to include a service to the car outside of the oil change which includes vacuuming, cleaning windows, lube the chasis, check tires, and check all fluids. I was there for 7 minutes. All that got completed was the oil change even though all the services were marked off as completed on my receipt. I was standing outside smoking and watching them the entire time. I asked why these things were not completed and was told they were. Guess they didnt realize i watched them the entire time? I have tried to call corporate office several times with no answer at any extension I have tried. The website just directs me to the number that nobody answers. This is a joke and a complete waste of money. I will be taking my business for all of my cars elsewhere from now on. read more

Brought a brand new car to have the oil changed AS PER MANUFACTURERS'S RECOMMENDATIONS and they treated me like I was an idiot. Also had a $15 coupon as the oil change was over $100, but they charged me an additional $15 for 'nontaxable items'. So much for that. Chances are they'll hide this review but whatever. I have purchased the highly priced Signature Service for years never needing to be topped off. Yesterday when attempting to get only the windshield washer fluid topped off, I was informed I had to wait for the two vehicles ahead of be getting oil changes and tire rotations before I could get fluid added. I offered to provide a small jug and would do it myself but again was told I had to wait for the two cars sitting in line before me. I can't even recall how many years I have gotten service at Jiffy Lube and with the high cost for Signature Service, I did not get even marginal service during this visit. The poor attitude from the kid who told me I had to wait for water ended up hearing my comment that I would never return to Jiffy Lube again. Best experience I've ever had with a Jiffy Lube. If I could give them 10 starts I would! We are two females driving cross country from California to Indiana and noticed our cars ac had some condensation. We stopped at this Jiffy Lube to get an opinion, MELISSA, SONNY, and CHEROKEE were more than helpful and friendly!! They topped off our fluids and taught us some things along the way. Also gave us Californians great advice for the winter weather and what to prepare for while driving and maintaining our car! The most amazing part is they did it all for FREE and from the KINDNESS of their heart!!! We even tried offering them a tip and they would not except it. I wish I didn't have to give any stars... Ok so I dont normally go to the big chain oil places b/c I am a female and I always feel like they try to take advantage of that. I went to this Jiffy Lube b/c I really needed a oil change, wishing now I would have went anywhere else; hell Wal-Mart would have done a better job. I pulled up the greeter didn't even really pay attention, I told him that I had an additive that needed to be put in with the oil, but it only needed about 2 oz per ever qt of oil, he kinda gave me a blank look said ok and ushered me inside. Another tech came and got me and asked me a lot of the same questions the greeter had already asked me, I then told him the same thing about the additive. When my oil change was done yet another tech came inside to ring me up, he started going over everything and told me that they put the whole 32 oz of additive in and blah blah..... That was a $27 bottle of additive that is good for up to 4 changes using only 4 oz... I kinda freaked out, the manager wanted to blame it on me bc they are not supposed to put in additives anyways, but said he could give me a free oil change for next time, I told him this would not be good b/c I will never be going back to a Jiffy Lube again; so he offered me $15 off my current change which then brought it down to an $80 oil change. This is outragous and complete highway robbery. I feel bad for anyone that is unfortunate enough to go this Jiffy Lube. I will never ever ever ever ever go to this Jiffy Lube agian or any other Jiffy Lube for that matter. read more

Let me first start by saying how I much I hate doing anything whatsoever related to vehicular maintenance. I don't even like getting gas. However, my husband works nights and being the (mostly) reasonable wife that I am, I decided to exercise my independence and do it myself. I was fully prepared to have a terrible experience, but I was immediately thrown off by the kind gentleman who offered to pull my car into the garage. He took down my vehicle information and offered me a beverage while I waited in the lobby. Everyone was very friendly and the facility was very clean, but I patiently sat in the waiting area anticipating the upsale, which for me is by far one of the most awkward things I ever have to experience. It's like saying 'No, I rather enjoy an obstructed windshield and getting 2 miles less per gallon of gas'. Inevitably, I was escorted back to the garage and he went in for the kill: It looks like you need a new air filter. "Sorry, but the boss told me if it's over $20 I have to say no". Two minutes later I had not only a brand new air filter for less than $20, but an additional $5 off my total and a rebate for the price of my oil. Let's be honest, I'll never turn in the rebate, but I appreciated the gesture. It was by far the most pleasant experience I have ever had getting my oil changed. AND I got a smiley face on my "Mileage of Next Service" sticker. Well done, Jiffy Lube. You have my business. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the fact that it is the most difficult place to get into. Christopher Columbus himself would have a hard time finding the entrance. After I posted my previous review we were once again promised that a check would be sent out immediately. That was on 11/18, and of course we haven't received the check so when we contacted them today requesting proof that a check was issued today and a FedEx tracking number as proof it is being sent today. The reply we received was that we didn't need to take such measures and another promise that we would receive the check promptly. This has been going on since July and we don't have the right to demand proof that a check was actually issued? We are supposed to just take their word for it when we've been lied to for 6 months now. I guess that's the problem with Jiffy Lube, no integrity and little regard for their customers. I guess I should have known that if they don't care about their customers safety enough to correctly tighten lug nuts they probably don't care enough to correct the damage they caused.
