I had to get my oil changed so I took my car to the Jiffy Lube on Broadway. I have had excellent service everytime I go here, and this experience was no different. I try to go first thing in the morning so there is never a wait for my car to get worked on. The waiting room is clean and comfortable enough to wait for a while, while my car was getting it's oil changed. I feel that the service providers are all friendly and polite. I appreciate that they let me know if my car needs other services such as new wind shield wipers, fluids, filters, etc. But I never feel pressured to purchase these items from them (though I usually end up doing that so it gets done). And the cherry on top of my service visit is that they vacuum out my car which always makes it feel 10x cleaner when I get back in. read more

I the guy working on my car yelled out we are changing her belts even though they dont need to be changed right? I was they only person there so I know he was referring to my car. I let them change it because they were already working on it and I was afraid they would screw with my car. They are what is called a "multi-care" shop. In some shops this doesn't mean much, but at this one it does. Over the past number few months I've had O2 sensor issues and today I have an ignition replacement which wasn't a textbook fix. But they persevered and did it. They have a "brain trust" of sorts with their lead mechanic, Jodie, who has a head full of cars from a lifetime of experience. Young Ronnie and old Dave fill-up the trust. You can trust them to do the work correctly and honestly. As a part of the multi-care philosophy, they take care of you too and keep you informed every step of the way. This business did a wonderful job. I came in today for an oil change and to have my tires and windshield wipers fixed. It was the fastest oil change I've ever had. Not only that, while they were changing my air filter (I swear those things always need replacing) they found my vehicle emissions requirement card and asked if I needed them to do that too. I appreciated that they went out of their way to take care of that additional chore for me. It seems like there are always a dozen recommended services when I come in for an oil change, but I didn't feel pressured to get them and just felt like I could take care of what was necessary and save the rest for later. The technicians here were friendly and respectful of me. I felt like they were really working to get me in and out. I sometimes wonder if they just open my hood, poke around and reset the sensors, take my money, and send me on my way. Here I got the feeling they had some integrity. I sure hope they did. They blocked all customers to their next door businesses by parking one of their trucks in the entrance to their parking lot. Lots of drivers making dangerous moves as a result and loss of business to their respectful and wonderful neighboring businesses. Owners refused to discuss alternative options and insist that their truck "has to be parked there." Very rude. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AND SAVE YOUR FAMILY'S LIVES!!! Here is why: In the winter of 2020, I made the mistake of going to Jiffy Lube on Broadway Ave. before a road trip in order to make sure the vehicle was as safe as can be since we don't drive that vehicle often. They took advantage of me saying that and up-charged me into many different services which included their recommendation of having their lube shop rotate my tires (which was unnecessary because we rarely drive that car and it had new tires on it which can be seen by the tire tread in the picture, but when the safety of my family is involved I would much rather take all precautions possible). Somehow they forgot to tighten the lug nuts and I had my front driver side tire go flying off my vehicle on the interstate at 80 mph in the darkness of the night with a semi-truck to my right and the metal rotor grinding on the road preventing me from being able to steer while also creating a wave of sparks that engulfed the vehicle. Even the tow truck driver was in shock that I was able to get the vehicle safely to the side of the road without catastrophic injury. Come to find out, multiple tires had lug nuts that were so loose you could remove them with your hands, so all my tires had bored out threads from driving on loose lug nuts. I paid Jiffy Lube $200 for their full list of "signature" services and safety checks, when really all I received was a near death experience followed by my family and I stuck on the interstate in the freezing cold for hours trying to coordinate a tow truck and find a hotel and Uber that allowed dogs so we could plan our new vacation: how to get us and the car home safely. Added to this horror was the matter of not knowing how or where to keep my family safe if the tire happened to be in the middle of the interstate and cause vehicles traveling 80 mph to swerve and collide into us. If you can't tell, I still have PTSD from the event and have to triple check all lug nuts after any shop visits and before any road trips. Then, a few days after the incident I had the owner of Jiffy Lube, Earl Saddler, finally reach back out to me and tell me that it is good I wasn't injured (without ever asking if anyone was injured). He then proceeded to inform me what insurance will do and say, so instead of fixing my "cheap" car he would just call it totaled and buy it for $2k (KBB value was around $8k) so we didn't have to deal with those pesky insurance agents (aka he didn't want to make claim in case it made his monthly insurance payment increase). Little did he know that I work for a personal injury law firm and know exactly how the process works. I very well could have, and probably should have, blown it out into a large claim and got plenty of massage treatments for my family and I before demanding a large settlement, but I chose the high road and just had them fix the damage they caused so I didn't have to work with these slime balls ever again. Luckily for Earl and his insurance costs that he is so worried about, I am a lot different than him and his business practices that he promotes at Jiffy Lube and I don't go out of my way to try to take advantage of people (especially paying customers). I can only hope that this review will possibly save someone's life before they make the same mistakes I did by letting them touch my vehicle. Now I go to the Valvoline on Apple st. and they have been absolutely amazing. On the other hand, any service is better than what you would get at Earl's Jiffy Lube. read more

I had my Oil changed a month ago and my oil pressure light went off in the middle of the highway and I was getting worried. I took it back to Jiffy Lube and they said that there was no leak, and their advice was to park my car at home and not drive it. I took it to the Volkswagen shop and there was a huge oil leak that Jiffy Lube did not detect. They should've been able to find this, since it was very obvious and leaking all over the ground. They wasted my money and I will never go back to them. I do not recommend. read more

I went into Jiffy Lube over the week for a basic oil change and to have a brake light replaced. Oil changes are something I always dread and put off as long as possible, so I wasn't excited to be there. Hans H., Sylvain G., David P., and Steve B., was the team working on my car and they were speedy!! Steve B., was my cashier so I had the chance to interact most with him. He was so informative about the entire process and made it easy to decide which upgrades I did and didn't need. The service was good, and as far as I can tell the oil pan isn't dripping, so at least the oil is changed and my vehicle isn't worse off than when I brought it. read more

This jiffy lube was the worst experience that I have encountered! I brought in my daughter's car for an oil change, which was returned to us with less oil than we had brought it in with! I was charged $90 for an oil change, which is normal for an Audi, but when we took it to our mechanic the next day for a repair, they told us it was 5 quarts low! Unacceptable! Our mechanic said there was no way her car could've burned that much oil in two days! Very disappointing that this business is run like this! read more

Absolutely horrible, went in for a oil change and tire rotation. Went across the street for lunch, came back expecting my car to be done. The guy said they could not do tire rotation due to they couldn't get back wheels off. WTH I just put these tires on like 8 months ago. So I left disappointed went back to work, parked car.... Went to the Broadway Jiffy lube and they didn't check my fluids and oil,went and had my car serviced and next day my water-temp gauge came on .I just happened to be at my Mechanics the next day he checked and water level was very low?I said just had it serviced yesterday ,we looked and all fluids were low as well as oil 1 qt low and my car doesn't leak .So they never did my car I went back and asked for the manager told him about it and he didn't care asked for my receipt as if I didn't have one said he would top off the fluids .I was ready to leave and decided to check it and still 1 qt low,this place is a joke.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Stay away from Jiffy Lube. I took my 2015, 3.6, six cylinder Subaru Outback for an oil change. Jiffy Lube told me that it had to have synthetic oil after they had already drained the oil out of my car. I wanted to take my car and leave but it was too late for that. I requested that they put in conventional oil just like the Subaru dealer had done the previous three times. Before having Jiffy Lube put conventional oil in, I called the Subaru dealer and they confirmed my car had been filled with conventional oil and that this was the correct oil to use. I confirmed this online as well. After Jiffy Lube finished the job, they noted on the receipt that the customer requested the "wrong" oil type and that there would be no warranty on the work they did. Jiffy Lube gave false information about the oil "required" for my car and when I didn't use that oil, they refused to stand behind their work. read more

Very disappointed!!! I've been taking my car here for the last 4 years for basic oil change. Never had any problems with my Toyota Camry in over 10 yrs, until my last oil change at the end of May. Suddenly my car is leaking oil!! That's weird, it's never leaked oil before. Take it in, they change out the oil pan plug, should be fine now. A week later, it's leaking worse than before. Take it back again, they tell me it's leaking from above the oil pan, I have a leak in my seal... wait, what!? You didn't tell me when I brought it in originally that it had a leak! and it's getting worse!! Sure, they can fix it for $500+... uh, no! You broke it, you fix it! Blah, blah, blah...never mind, I'll have someone else look at it. First thing they notice, the oil cap wasn't put back on, just sitting there!!! Are you kidding me,,, wow! So they are either intentionally messing with my car, or they are just plain incompetent. And the guy tried to say he was a race car mechanic,,,holy hell, good luck with that career! You had one freakin job and you can't even get that right!!! And you have the nerve give me attitude, instead of making sure it was right!! Yeah, you just lost this customer and I'll be sure to tell everyone I can to stay away from Jiffy Lube all together!!! Didn't you guys just get investigated for repair scams too!?
