OH NO Lube Center, where did you go? I drive across Boise to get my oil changed at The Lube Center because they always go above and beyond with every vehicle we own. Went to get oil changed on 12/19/25 and the Fairview location is now a used car lot. Hopeful that the business just moved, but I fear the worst. read more

Kids working there did not put the forest amount of oil in my duramax. Owner Brad handled it like a child. Refuses to do anything about it even though the dealership states all damage was due to oil starvation. Brad is a total turd and you should stay far far away. read more

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. They are honest and ethical. A dealership was doing an oil change for me and told me I was down to 25% on my brakes and I needed them all replaced. I brought my car to The Lube Center for a second opinion and they said my front brakes were only at 50% and my rear brakes were still around 65% and that I had probably another year before I needed to even think about replacing them. I left with no work done and no charge charges. A year later I had them replace my front brakes and they confirmed I still didn't need to do my rear brakes! And the one time there was a little hiccup with a bolt after having some work done - they fixed it for free. They stand by their work and they're honest - that's the kind of business I will continue to support! read more

The dealership did a pressure test. No leak. It was just really low. Had your technician actually checked it, he would have topped it off (which by the way he claimed he did). Look at your cameras, he never checked it. And it was my decision to put water in the radiator because me and my family were stuck on the side of the freeway and I had no other option. It isn't exactly a safe place to be with cars zooming by you at 80MPH. It was your techs negligence that put us in that situation. read more

Great, friendly service! We needed an oil change during our trip back from the Arches National Park to Oregon. We saw on Yelp that this spot has great reviews. And the comments were right! We got in at a good time (2pm on Thursday) and was able to get the oil change in about 30 minutes or less. (Note: I'm used to having two hour wait for oil changes in Oregon). These folks decided to do a quick inspection and found the exact is you and it only took a matter of about an hour of my time. I recommend The Lube Center for oil changes and more. No appointment necessary (I did call before coming in to make sure they were not tied up). They began changing my oil change within minutes of my arrival. They offer traditional, synthetic blends, high mileage synthetic blends and full synthetic. The team here works together to check (and top off, if necessary) all your fluids while your oil is being changed! They also talked me through the state (quality) of my fluids and when I might consider additional maintenance (like fluid flushes). That discussion was consistent with my existing understanding of fluid maintenance. They offer wiper blade replacement so competitively priced I opted to replace my front and rear blades. They also checked the cabin air filter (that filters your heater and A/C air to your cabin). That thing was pretty fouled and changing it lead to an immediate improvement in my cabin airflow. I was glad they did this, because I didn't even know where that filter was (behind the glove box, in my case). Gary, the owner, is very knowledgeable and works with his team closely to create a great customer experience. The entire staff seemed interested in and contributed to my conversation with Gary about my car's maintenance. They are a well oiled team, and it seems as if they all care about and contribute to creating a positive work environment -which I appreciate! I've gotten two oil changes from this shop. During my last oil change it was pointed out that I needed my serpentine belts replaced. I also asked about a tire rotation and was told that he could throw in a tire rotation if I came back and got the belts replaced. I came back a few weeks later and asked about getting the tire rotation thrown in. The service crew laughed it off and acted like there was no way anyone would promise that. I think they do good work, but I was really out off by that. A simple "I apologize, but I can't authorize that" would have gone a long way to keep me as a customer. Vehicle maintenance is a commoditized service and there are dozens of shops I could have gone to. Why give your customers a reason to go somewhere else? read more

Our family has taken all of our cars to The Lube Center for over 10 years. Recently, when changing out the airbag in my Honda, the local dealership said I needed to get new brakes immediately, which would cost 260. I always have The Lube Center replace our brakes so I made an appointment with them (they quoted me 180). When they inspected my brakes, they told me I have 10,000 miles (40% left on my brake pads) and didn't charge me for the appointment. This is not the first time that they have saved me money after a quote from a tire shop or a dealership. What a great place! I was visiting my family in my 31' RV and it was time for an oil change after traveling to Michigan from So Cal and back west to Boise. They said they could accommodate my rig, and they were right...I made it into the bay with about 3" to spare on each side lol! DJ and owner Gary are super nice folks to deal with, and the price they quoted on the phone turned out to be for a class A (I have a class C), so it ended up costing about half what they first quoted.
